Leaving aside non-rock music for a moment....just wanna know what other people listen to. If you have lastfm then friend meeeee, I wanna snoop around your library! ;]
ETA: and apparently I'm the only person who doesn't like post grunge and garage rock. I feel so alone. haha.

It probably has to do with the fact that A LOT of post Grunge sucks... but a lot of it is absolutely fantastic. Don't judge a book by it's Nickelback.

Also, would like to add something along the lines of Jam Rock or something like that. Don't know if you'd want to lump it all together, like from Grateful Dead to Phish to Dave Matthews Band to OAR, etc...
My favorite bands are Dave Matthews, Barenaked Ladies, Ben Folds (and the Five), Sister Hazel, and Pomeroy. Nothing "cool" or "hip," but I like it. And I honestly believe Ben Folds is the greatest songwriter of the 90's/00's. I'm sure no one agrees, but I will fight you over it. Dave Grohl would be my vote for greatest rocker.

I'm very eclectic with my music. I do enjoy the 60's/70's/80's stuff though. Les

Haha, yeah, I'm a massive fan of Foo Fighters, but I couldn't bring myself to vote for Post Grunge because of Nickelback.
Let's see, my favourite bands of the moment include (cause I'm sure you are all greatly interested) My Chemical Romance (best band ever, to be honest), Foo Fighters, Motion City Soundtrack, The Offspring, Three Days Grace, Fort Minor. That about covers it for now. lol

I wouldn't have put up a poll if I didn't want to know, Isaac. =p And the bands I listed more for "if you're not sure what this genre entails, here are examples" not "you must enjoy every band in this genre" Okay, I don't hate post grunge. I can stand to listen to it, but it has a larger percentage of songs I'm indifferent to/dislike than most other genres. Eddie O'Flaherty: Ah, I forgot about Jam bands! Ben Folds is very talented! I'm pretty sure I enjoy Dave Matthews when I hear them, but I can never recall any of their songs, even immediately after listening to them, which as a singer myself I have to admit is very shameful of me. My personal favorite bands (as in, I must own every CD they put out): of Montreal, Trembling Blue Stars (and The Field Mice and Northern Picture Library and anything else Bobby Wratten was involved in), Stars, The Rosebuds, Owl City, Stars of Track and Field, Scissor Sisters, The Aquabats The best generalization I can give is that I really like music that is happy. If it's sad, I want it to be sweetly sad not tortured.

I like pretty much everything...I know that always seems like a lame indecisive answer but I don't think I really like genres so much as random bands. I just voted for the ones that had a band listed that I like (like my post grunge vote went out to the foo fighters not nickleback). And I guess I do tend to like the alternative stuff more than say pop but I'd be lying if I said I there weren't any pop songs/groups I liked too. So yeah...I'm one of those annoying people that likes just about everything...except for perhaps Gregorian Chant...that might be a little dry for me

I think only on my computer can I go from 'Johnny Quest Theme' to Eartha Kitt to Kenny Chesney to Savage Garden to the cast of 'Annie' Les

....Gregorian Chant was one of my top "bands" on lastfm for awhile (because I couldn't remember which group was doing the chanting)...>.>
I don't think "Everything" is indecisive, because I listen to pretty much everything, too, but I like stupid polls also.
