Jay was a stubborn ass. It was a bad trait. Trix was also stubborn and right now they were in a stubborn standoff. Neither willing to budge. Trix wanted DJ and Jay was intent on hating him. There was no real reason to hate DJ, but Jay did hate him. The guy irked Jay to no end. It started with him keeping his sister out all night and it was continuing with DJ turning Trixie against him. At least that's how it was in Jay's mind. Yet there was nothing he could do. He tried almost everything and the jerk was still with his sister.
Some how the idiot weaseled his way into his sisters heart. Jay decided to just wait it out. He knew his sister. Trixie would get bored and soon DJ would be old news. Jay just had to wait, but he was not about to make it easy. Jay decided to focus on brighter pastures. The crap with his sister was too stressful and Jay preferred to destress. What better way to destress then to find a lovely innocent lady to fill his time with. Gould defiantly had an abundance of lovely ladies.
Jay was at his locker. He looked around for the pretty blonde he shared the locker with, but she was no were to be seen, so Jay went on a hunt. He had a little luck he got a few numbers. However, he was not sticking around. He needed a woman to stick around for. Finally Jay was feeling better. Something about flirting and making a woman blush had such a calming effect on Jayson Michaels. Jay rounded a corner to conquer another hall when he came face to face with the bane of his existence. Stupid DJ. Jay just smirked, "Can't stay away from me huh....I knew you were using my sister to get close to me, but I don't swing that way." Jay said with a hint of disdain in his voice and an evil look on his face.

DJ was pleased with yesterday with Trixie, it was just the two of them. No Jay to bother them, and the ice queen was able to let guard down slightly.
He was at his locker getting his books and hanging up his jacket. He had on a nice form fitting forest green Fruit of the Loom colored t-shirt, tattered jeans, or as he called them his "comfort jeans" and black Converse All Star Hi-tops. Part of him wanted to cover the small bruises he had on his arms from the scuffle a few days earlier but his logical self said to expose them and people won't ask to see them.
The last person he wanted to see that day was Jay. He was the thorn in his side. They did need to talk, no fists involved or who was tougher than the other. Jay needed to know that Trixie was quite able to make her own decisions.
Speak of the devil.
He smirked at Jay's comment. "I don't swing that way either and even if I did, I'd find a guy with more than two inches between his legs!" He shifted his backpack on his shoulder.

Jay just smirked, "And you call yourself a man. The best comeback you have is to insult my manhood. Nice to know you have been thinking about it." Jay winked. "You can think all you want, but no touching." Jay informed DJ with a glare. He would not give in just because the guy proved himself. Jay would need more proof then that. He just did not like the guy.
perhaps it was envy. jay wished he could be a good guy like DJ, but truth was, Jay was far from good. Every time he tried he failed. Something always made him turn bad again. It as not so bad. At least he was not as bad as some people he knew. Yet he always had a partner in crime in Trix and now she had a stupid boyfriend that made her go good. "Although i guess you are not that good. Trix barely mentions you. And she tells me everything. What a shame." Jay said with a nod.
"So is there a point to our meeting, or did you just come to insult me. cause if you did you are not helping your case." Jay really thought he had so much power. That he could break DJ and Trix up if he wanted. All he had to do was put more time and effort into it. "Cause for now I want you to know I am being good. and I know this little thing will fizzle out...but I warn you, if I want to, she will dump you. You are not the first guy who has attempted to be her boyfriend. Boyfriends are easy to get rid of."

"Oh please," DJ sneered at the thought. "You are the last thing I would EVER think of touching." Jay was like an irritating rash that never seemed to clear up no matter what.
"You ever stop to think maybe we've done things she doesn't want to tell you about? I guess not because you are too wrapped up in your own little world to really care about anything else." DJ felt himself getting angry at Jay, but he needed to keep his cool. There was not a chance in hell that he was going to lose it this time around.
"Hmm you tell me, I was standing here and you rounded the corner. Oh maybe you came to be all butch and menacing to me, ohhh look at me shake." He faked being nervous.
DJ crossed his arms over his chest. "If YOU want her to? I think Trixie is quite able to make her own decisions." He smirked and chuckled a little. "Maybe this is why she doesn't like to mention me around you, all you can do is poison her mind." This made him even smile more. "You get rid of them? How rat poison in a soda then bury them in the backyard? You make me laugh sometimes."

Jay knew he was getting to DJ by the sound of his voice. Of course it went two ways, cause DJ was getting to Jay. He let DJ have his whole speech up to the rat poison. Jay just gave him the death glare. A cold glance, that would make most men crumble, but not this big gorilla. Seriously. How did they kill King Kong again. cause this guy was alike that big ape. Jay just needed to know him down. "Nah, no need to kill them. Trixie always comes around to see it my way. I know what makes her tick. It wont be the first time I have caused her to freak out. All I have to do is suggest a certain something and she runs for the hills." Jay revealed, cause there was nothing DJ could do to stop it.
"See you met Trixie when a few weeks ago. So you don't really know her now do you. What she has told me is always important. If she doesn't talk about you it means you mean nothing to her. Which is good to know. So perhaps you are the one living in a fantasy world." Jay commented. "Maybe its time you woke up? Honestly. Does anyone even know you are dating? Cause I bet guys hit on Trixie all the time, but why would they do that unless they thought she was single?"
There Jay went. Planting seeds of doubt. A few choice words and statements and it was done. The only thing is people could be unpredictable. it only worked if DJ believed Jay.

"Suggest something? Like fishing news from someone." That was how Jay had found out about Sloane, it had to be. "I shouldn't be surprised, a snake like you would do anything to get his own way!" He wanted to deck Jay right there on the spot.
"Well, should have been there a couple weeks ago when she shot me down. You would have been pleased how she handled everything. That was until she met a mysterious man in black on a motorcycle who showed her a good time and how she didn't have to live under her brother's shadow."
He raised a finger to Jay. "Ahahahah, don't even trying pulling that shit on me. I may have been born at night but not last night. I can see right through your little game. Well guess what, I'm tired of playing and you lose! Check mate, I win! Game, Set, Match!"
"And why is that you ask? I'll tell you. You want it too badly. If we ever broke up, you'd just hold it over Trixie's head as if she made the mistake, not you. In the time I've spent with her, she's awakened to your lies, so just back off now Jay!"

Jay clenched a fist as DJ spoke. The basard was striking a cord deep within Jay and that was not a good thing. DJ won..he had not won. Jay had not even begun to play the game. Had Jay not been so blinded by rage he would seehow badly his over protectiveness looked, but in all honestly, Jay just had no idea how to handle things that did not go his way. It was not good for him. He did not know how to deal with motions and crap. He kept so much bottled up inside. He threw a punsh at the locker behind DJ and dented it.
Jay looked DJ square in the eyes, "You need to shut your mouth, you hear me. You have won nothing. You do not know a damn thing about me. I have my ways at finding out secrets." As proven with Sloane, "Do not hate me because I outsmarted you. I told you to be honest with my sister. You cannot hide shit from me." Jay told him.
"Unlike me, you have no idea what Trix and I have been through. And until you go through something like that, your bond to her is nothing, like ours. She is my sister and I will do watever it takes to protect her." Jay said to him. "I have already done enough, but I will do more if need be." it was Jay's justification for what he did. "I doubt Trixie has told you anything about our life, so you have not won anything yet." Jay was pissed off.

DJ flinched and prepared for the worst when the fist came flying towards him but instead landed on a locker. He let out a huge breath of relief.
"I know more than you think," DJ snapped back at Jay. "I did my homework, I know about the rituals, the beatings, the murder." The last words came out slow and deliberate. "Do not think for a moment that you can torture me with idle threats." He kept his stare on Jay. "I already talked to Trixie about it and said, it'll take more that this to scare me off."
"So don't assume you can pull this big man shit with me, I know the truth." DJ was standing by his guns. "You only want whats best for you, you aren't even thinking of Trixie. She knows what I can provide for her and that I know how to please her." He knew that would eat at Jay.
He expected a reaction but not what he was about to hear. A kid came rushing down the hall in a huge panic.
"There's a huge fight in the other hall!! Some guy tried to attack a girl and another guy is protecting her!"
DJ remembered the night before, at Pierside. Trixie and that guy! "Shit, Trixie!" He said as he rushed off to the scene.

"You know all that... she told yo...Trix actually confided everything in you." Jay had no idea that DJ did research to find out. Jay also did not know that DJ did not know about the touching. Sure their father had never had sex with Trixie, but touching was just as bad. Either way DJ knew. How he had no clue. He knew about the murder...wait...then he could not have found out from Trix. She thought their mother killed daddy dearest...then it must have been Nate, that bastard.
The part about pleasing her just irritated him more, "Bragging much...its not nice." His fist clenched at the thought of DJ knowing the truth about their past. "You tell her and I will hurt you, you understand me. Now only, I, Nate and you know who really killed our father, and you cannot tell Trixie...it will kill her inside...I had no choice..he was going to kill her and I had to do it to protect her." Jay had basically just spilled the beans that he killed their father.
Just then the scrawny kid came rushing toward them yelling about a fight. He heard what DJ said and watched him take off. Jay followed. "What about Trixie man? What's going on?" Jay had no idea why a fight with a guy would involve his sister. No one would want to hurt her. No one except DJ.
