Her father doesn't allow her to wear too much make-up, so her light freckles are often quite visible. Recently, without her parents' permission, she dyed two pink streaks into her hair. Her father was not pleased.

She liked it so much that she decided to stay after filming finished in order to have a natural birth. Zooey was born, and few months later "Holliday" opened to rave reviews. Abigail eventually won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance, which she credits to her little actress that was in her tummy. The pair returned to LA as soon as Zooey was old enough to fly.
