"Well you can see Hashi and Ginger whenever you want," Takumi said. "We can walk Hashi together." He liked the way that sounded. "But your friend is getting married?" He knew people did that young but it seemed exceptionally so. Perhaps there was a rush to... what was the term...? Tie the knot? Takumi hadn't seen any pregnant girls at school though so that probably wasn't the reason. "I look forward to seeing your dress," he added. "I imagine weddings here to be very different to our more traditional ones back in Japan. There people would marry in a Shinto shrine but more modern ones have the shrine set up inside a hotel. There is always a lot of sake involved!" He laughed as he mentioned that last part.
"A shame you are busy, though. I would have liked to see you on Saturday but Lia will hopefully still be able to come with me. I haven't seen her for a couple of days.
He frowned slightly at Izzy's mention of her brother. "I really hope he likes me," Takumi said with an uncertain tone to his voice. "Do you think it might be a good idea to try and meet him tomorrow in school? Perhaps during lunch break or something. With others around he might be less likely to be...ah... too protective!" Taki didn't need to say what he'd been really thinking... and that Jett might be less likely to punch him for dating Izzy.
He hoped it wouldn't turn out like that!

Izzy smiled and nodded, "Really. I would love to. I have been considering finally getting an animal, but that means I need my mothers permission, and I doubt she will be back in town soon, so, you might have to meet her much later on." Assuming they were together much later on, although Izzy hoped so. She really enjoyed Taki's company and they were similar. It was great. So far the managed to have fun together so it was far from boring. "Yeah her and her boyfriend have been through a lot and they feel why wait." Izzy said with a small shrug. "I hope it works...would you care to be my date to the wedding? It would mean a lot to me if my boyfriend could come."
Izzy laughed as well. "I imagine Korean weddings have their own traditions. But the sake part sounds lovely." She told him as she cuddled even closer. "I wish it was another night, but I promised Cat, and I have not spoken to her in a while, but let me know how Lia is, and text me..please feel free to text me." Izzy encouraged Taki. She always enjoyed getting a text message from Taki.
"I don't mean to scare you, Jett is a pretty cool brother, but he likes to be protective. he is having trouble admitting I can take care of myself." Izzy said, "But just be yourself and trust me Jett will like you. He might even try and be your friend as well, and if that happens I warn you the party invitations will be rolling in. Jett is a born party guy. its not my scene but he likes to drag me along." Izzy explained. "i can text him and set it up for lunch, and like I said don't worry. Jett punches like a girl." Izzy started to laugh just joking around. "i am kidding I swear..just kidding." For a brief moment Izzy let out another chill and then jumped a little. "Did you feel that. I swear someone was just next to me..."

"Your date at their wedding?" Takumi nodded and grinned. "I would be honoured to escort you," he added in a formal tone but it was one heavily laden with excitement. It wiuld, after all, tell people they were dating... Not that he'd probably know all that many people there. Still, he liked the idea. A lot. "I would never ask you to cancel something for me, Izzy. I promise you that. I'm sad you're busy but happy to be able to see you the next day. I will definitely founbd out how Lia is. She seemed a bit... down when we last spoke. I hope everything is ok. Her brother must be worrying... with his blindness, I mean. He listened closely when Izzy went on to assure him her brother was harmless. Being protective was good in his eyes and he understood why Jett would feel that way with Izzy. Takumi just needed to show him that he meant nothing but good for his sister. "I think you are very good at caring for yourself but if you were my sister I would also want to check out your boyfriend!" Takumi laughed slightly as he spoke. Izzy carried a certain fragility about her but Takumi was fast realising that wasn't entirely true. Izzy hid a deeper side to herself and her latent strengths were slowly showing themselves. "Sugoi! Yes! Please set up lunch with Jett. I would very much like to meet him but I hope I never get to feel any of his punches... Girlish or not!" Takumi stiffened at Izzy's next words... "Did you feel that. I swear someone was just next to me..." He swallowed and glanced somewhat uncertainly around. "No one is here. No one, that is," he added, "but me... and as I am most definitely sitting at your side perhaps..." He knew, though, that Izzy had been referring to her other side. "It's getting late," he quickly went on. "Perhaps we should head for home... but not before I..." He leaned closer to Izzy and slid his arms securely around her waist, one hand lifting slightly to press gently between her shoulder blades. He moved closer still, his lips brushing hers before they met in a kiss that left them both breathless and yet wanting more. "We should go," he repeated on a shaky laugh and they quickly packed up their belongings before heading back down the spiral stairs. Their visit hadn't been overly frightening and yet the sensation Izzy had felt of not being alone remained with them until they reached the main road. Was the lighthouse haunted? THey still didn't know for sure but Takumi was very glad they'd spent their evening there... Alone or not. (wrapped )
