Old Fashioned Date Night - Evan Tag Brittany, open

No one had ever cleared a table faster than Evan did that night. He had a hot girl in his bedroom, so every reason to rush. The sound of slight creaking when he did eventually head upstairs made him laugh, Brit had taken him up at the offer. Grinning when he came into the room, admiring the sight of his girlfriend jumping up and down very enthusiastically, he joined her on the bed, though in a more sitting on it than jumping sort of way.
Automatically, when the DVD was held out to him he took it, but paid it no attention for a moment. “Fancy party? Sure thing Brit, you know I love a chance to get all dolled up.” he laughed. “Yeah, I’ll speak to Patch tomorrow at school about it, see if he wants to come to. We can all take turns hovering around Aly, that really would piss her off.”

It was only then that he pulled himself off the bed, chucking on the DVD and turning around the TV to face them better. “Burton, nice.” he approved, grabbing the remotes before searching under the bed. Only took him a moment to find what he was looking for, pulling out a small box of chocolatey goodness, what was left over from his Valentine’s Day spree. “We’re gonna feel like chocolate.”

Jumping back down on the bed when the movie started to play, Evan leaned slightly against the wall, yawning dramatically as he put his arm around Brit, pulling her against him. “Almost forgot, you’re gonna love me for this.” he teased. “Patch and I had some fun at lunch. Nick had given him a bunch of blank Valentine’s cards, I dunno, to be annoying or something. So, we put ‘em to good use. Look’s like Aly’s Judd ‘Psycho’ Nixon’s new Valentine. She got one herself from Tyler ‘I’m so pretty’ Durnham. Only wish I could have seen all their faces.”

"Yeah...I wasn't planning on dressing up or anything, but I just figured our presence would be enough to piss Aly off, from the way she was talking, it sounded exclusive or something," Brit said with a shrug. "But hovering around her...that's a good one, but we'd definitely have to switch off because really...who could tolerate her for that long," she said, making a face. "I was just thinking about throwing skittles and stuff in her drinks to mess up the taste, although that might make them better, so maybe that's not such a good idea."

Brittany stayed put on the bed as he put on the movie, grinning when he brought out the chocolate. "I'm way too full right now, but give me five minutes," she said. After all, there was always room for chocolate and few movies made you crave it quite so much.

"That's awesome!" Brittany said. "I should tell Judd that she talks about him all the time..." Brittany said. She'd never actually spoken to Judd though. "Really, one from Tyler? I guess it might be funny if she thought Tyler had a thing for her but might have been funnier if it was from...that Mew guy or something," she said, picking someone that Aly would never like in a million years. "You think she'll say something to Tyler?" she asked. "I bet she would like him too...don't know what girls see in him," Brit said shaking her head. "Oooo it's starting," she exclaimed the moment the opening credits had finished. She cuddled up to Evan, ready to watch the movie.

“Yeah, I don’t think anyone could tolerate her for long. That’s why she doesn’t have a date tonight, on Valentine’s Day, while you’re in the bedroom of the hottest guy at school. Oh yeah, cop that Aly.” Grinning, he gently squeezed Brit’s shoulder, pushing the box of treats to the side with his foot. He was going to give the two of them three minutes though, before they raided it.

Now that Brit mentioned Mew, he could have cursed himself, that guy would have been perfect! He would have felt a little sorry for him the next day when Aly confronted him, but still, that would be funny. Tyler wasn’t a bad choice though, still. He was kind of self absorbed, Evan thought, not the kind to chase anyone he didn’t think he would get, he seemed to think women would fall at their feet. And, annoyingly, that’s exactly what seemed to happen. “Yeah, I reckon she will. I hope so anyway, it’ll be classic.”

It was a relief to know that Brittany was far from interested in the footballer. He trusted her completely, she wasn’t the cheating type he knew, it wasn’t just he was as far from Tyler as someone could get, so it was good to know Brit wouldn’t go for Tyler. He couldn’t see what was so great about him anyway, he just seemed so stuck up and pretentious, and boring, and he really wasn’t that good looking, was he? Brittany brought his attention back to the movie when it started though, and he absently pressed a kiss to the top of her head, eyes glued on the screen.
