Character Name: Cera Lamprey
Nickname: Cera
Age: 17
Birthday: 27 December
Place of birth: Rosewood, California
School: Silver
Grade: Senior
Appearance: Stats:
Hair: Blond
Eye: Blue
Height: 5'5
Cera has almost white blond hair that she has bleached time and again but her bangs are coloured to mimic the spots on a leopard's body. Her reason for doing this is that she was bored on fine day.
Standing at a tiny 5'5, it takes Cera a really hard time to kiss her boyfriend Graham who towers over her like the Statue of Liberty. At least to her.
The petite blond's eyes are naturally bright, piercing blue which she inherited from her father. Her cute slightly upturned button nose and pouty lips are all from her mother. She always frames her eyes with thick and dark eyeliner and outrageously bright colours for her eyeshadows.
All in all, Cera's appearance is bright and very glaring, almost always choosing pink, white and other pastel colours which reflect her sunny disposition.
Adopting the perky goth style, Cera is usually seen in bright colours from pleated ruffled skirts to skintight sweaters, t-shirts, tight pants and sleeveless faux fur coats.
She also has a tattoo of a perching eagle on the left side of her neck and two lip rings.
Personality: Just as she dresses, Cera is perky and bubbly and has a generally sunny disposition that you can only either hate or love. She tries her best not to annoy anyone of course but sometimes that doesn't work out as well as she had planned.
Cera is quite clingy and very dependent on people although she doesn't openly show it to anyone except her father. She loves to snuggle and will grab every opportunity with her boyfriend to do just that.
Friendly, quite gregarious and loves to take care of people, Cera is the kind of person one would go to for cheering up.
She's rather intelligent but rarely shows it, choosing to be mediocre and enough to pull her through high school. She has other plans for her life that doesn't involve academics.
Cera is head over heels for Graham and is not afraid to show him just how much she loves him.

Family Background and History: Father - John Lamprey [35]
Mother - Shane Mallory [deceased]
When Shane found out she was pregnant with her quarterback boyfriend John Lamprey's baby at the age of 16, she almost didn't tell him but upon relentless insistence and also after being kicked out of her very staunch Christian parents house, she was promised everything by her boyfriend. Even as they struggled to make ends meet, with John's three jobs, they managed to stay afloat and stay very much in love even after their first and only child was born. But post partum depression hit Shane hard after months of denial and John ended up having to bring their child up alone after Shane committed suicide just a month shy from Cera's first birthday.
Although John never seemed to bear any grudges or regret his life choices, people closest to him know how hard he must be suffering from losing the love of his life at such a young age.
Growing up with just the two of them, John never restricted Cera from any life experiences but that doesn't mean she doesn't get her share of groundings and spankings in her childhood but barring that, Cera and John have a wonderful relationship and their bond was something that could never be severed.
Being a frequenter in the kitchen, both John and Cera took up cooking classes together just so they don't have to depend on take out food and while John found his niche in cuisines, Cera found her love in baking. Cupcakes are her specialty and bakes them mostly for the pleasure of smelling them and giving them to people she loves.
Cera found a love of the violin quite early in life after a trip to New York with John and his best friends. She met with the most amazing violinist right in Central Park and from there, she begged her father to send her to violin lessons and that was how she became pretty much obsessed with other instruments and enrolled herself in the school band immediately in Freshman year. That was where she met the love of her life during the 11th grade. Quiet and oh so sweet Graham Alderman stole her heart and she hadn't turned back ever since.
Now, all Cera wants in her life is to have her father be as happy as she is with Graham.

Writing Sample: "I think I'm in love with her." The flushed look on his face told me everything without him even saying it. I was doomed. The boy I have been pining for was in love with my sworn enemy.
"Who?" intelligent me feigned ignorance, hoping he would catch the hint that I was not in the mood to talk. Thick-headed him continued. "Leia. I'm in love with Leia. Help me, girl!"
She has a name and I'm...girl?
"What do you want?" I'm quite surprised and very proud of the fact that despite everything that was happening, I was still under control; cool and calm.
"Talk to her for me. I mean you're girls...you talk don't you?" he asked. Thickheaded idiot.
If by talk you mean gouging each other's eyes out and ripping each other's hair and clothes apart then yeah sure we talk...a LOT.
"Yeah we talk." I answer simply. And then the puppy dog eyes come out; those light blue irises surrounded by intense black, hands up in a clasped manner, full lips pouting.
Uh oh. No...don't succumb to his every whim like you always do whenever that look surfaces. Oh girl, give yourself some respect. Where is your dignity and pride? Don't say yes...girl don't...say...
"Sure, I'll talk to her."
No...
His whole body visibly lights up; his eyes shine, his smile widens, the hands come up to my head and ruffle my hair, just like petting a puppy. My God. I am his bitch.
I single-handedly brought the term puppy love to a whole new level.
Great.
