Character Name: Hunter Harrison Lodge, III
Nickname: Wolf-boy, Chewbacca
Age: 17
Birthday: October 20th, 1991
Place of birth: Bangor, Maine
School: Gould
Grade: Junior
Appearance: Hunter stands about 5'6", though in Were form he claims to stand over eight feet tall. Not that any regular humans would remember if they ever saw him in that form, of course.
His build, however, shows off that he is a very physical guy. He is thick, muscular. Again, he claims this is from a regimen of running underneath the glow of the moon every night. And his boxing.
Hunter hit puberty very early in life, before almost every boy in his class. He started growing hair in odd places, and ever since has been particularly hairy. He can grow a decent beard (and neckbeard, and back beard, etc...) He used to try to shave as much of his body as he could brave, but he found that this only seemed to make it grow back stronger and thicker. Anymore, he has learned to embrace his hairiness.
His style of dress is very simple, worn jeans (usually ripped in places from wear) and flannel shirts. It would be very grunge like, if he had ever been old enough to know what the grunge scene was like. There is a slight bit of gothness to him, however, as he is drawn to the darkness in himself and others, and such is that the clothes he wears are often darker in color.
Personality: Hunter is usually a quiet boy. He doesn't generally like people and he's found people don't like him. He's solitary by nature and doesn't like to stand out too much.
Unlucky people may find that he has quite a temper and his is very quick to anger. He is not afraid to resort to violence to solve his problems, no matter how small they may be.
Growing up he was bullied and mocked quite often, mostly for the unnatural amount of body hair he had compared to other boys. Though he has come to terms with his hairiness, he is still quite insecure and tends to prefer aggressively weirding people out before they even have the chance to decide not to be his friend.
He also believes (or at least strongly wishes) he is a werewolf.
Town Area: Santa Monica
Job: Currently in between jobs
Transportation: A beat up old chevy pick up.
Family Background and History: Aberdeen Augustus Cleveland (R-MN) was a Congressman at the time his daughter met a young intern by the name of Hunter Harrison Lodge, Jr. Hunter Harrison Lodge Sr. was a judge for the State Supreme Court of Maryland. Both families boasted an extensive lineage of U.S. politicians, and so when Mary Cleveland started dating young Lodge, Jr., Aberdeen was pleased.
Mary Elizabeth Cleveland was not always the daughter Aberdeen had hoped for. The girl had grown up with politics, however much to Aberdeen's chagrin they were quite different than his. He had a strong conservative opinion based on a moral Catholic upbringing. Mary was brought up the same way, and up until high school was the picture of the loving, obedient daughter he had always hoped for. Perhaps it was her form of rebellion, but soon Mary started developing tendencies. Liberal tendencies. And it only got worse after high school. Despite her families objections, Mary accepted a scholarship to Wellesley College to study law. It was during her tenure here when she met Hunter Jr. and their romantic entanglement began shortly after.
The two were married within a year of meeting, and though it was a very large event in the political scene, it was never publicly told that the reason was because Mary found she was pregnant.
Hunter the Third was born in Mary's home town of Bangor, Maine, and the new family soon began living a happy existence outside the political atmosphere that once encompassed both Hunter and Mary's lives. Two years later, Hunter the III got a sister, Abigail Elliott Lodge.
But Hunter Jr. was longing for the political life again, and despite Mary's insistences he ran for a seat on the Maine State Senate. He won the spot, and Mary decided to leave. Hunter the III was only four years old.
Mary took her children to all over America, living for short periods in various cities. Eventually she moved the family to Los Angeles and filed for divorce. Along with some friends from college, she set up a small law firm devoted to defending things she felt were important, such as gay rights, environmental conservation, and pro-abortion rights.
Growing up, young Hunter stayed as far from politics as possible. He wanted nothing to do with the thing that split his parents up. He found solace in the world around him, and especially loved the more rural areas further outside the city. In the summers he often traveled to various outdoorsy camps devoted to manly activities such as fishing and canoeing, and he learned to love the earth, and nature around him.
He hit puberty at a young age, however, and quickly found himself a social outcast. It was during this period his aggressive and violent tendencies began to show, as he often got in fights at school. He fell in with a small group of outcasts that played role-playing games to escape reality. Hunter particularly enjoyed one about werewolves, finding a kinship with the creatures. This soon became an obsession, and Hunter watched and read anything he could get his hands on that was Werewolf related. His mother was not too keen on this, but she puts up with it on occasion. He has gone so far as to order special teeth (a friend knew a guy named Conan...) and special contacts to help him change. In the 7th grade, he once went to far as to bite another student and his mother had to move him to a different school.
Class Schedule: 1st Period - P.E.
2nd Period - American History
3rd Period - Calculus
4th Period - Home Ec.
5th Period - Computer Science
6th Period - American Lit.
Attendance Length: Since freshman year
After School Activities: None school related, though he takes boxing lessons and likes to play paintball.
Likes: Hunter has grown very particular about representations of werewolves in modern literature and cinema. Obviously, most of the stuff out there is pure crap, specifically Twilight and Blood and Chocolate. But the original Lon Chaney flick is one he likes, along with Wolfen and An American Werewolf In London.
Hunter has turned to activities such as boxing and paintball to work out his more violent tendencies. He doesn't role-play anymore, however, now that he has "become" the wolf. His musical interests lie in metal, metal, and more metal. And though he wouldn't admit it, he does care a lot for his sister and can be quite protective of her.
Dislikes: People who take the world (and nature) for granted, asshole bullies, politics in general, "city-folk," technology such as cell phones and computers, people in general, romantic comedies, Twilight, that his sister refuses to acknowledge that he is a werewolf.
Other Information: Hunter was once close friends with Sidra Cotton, though they eventually had a falling out over their opposing supernatural beliefs. Obviously, Hunter knows Werewolves will eventually destroy the unnatural presence of the Vampires.
