It was pretty rare that he had the need to drink, tonight was one of those times, his mother and father had announced on the phone just before the end of Lunch that they were heading to France for a month long business trip. Now that was not really a reason in and of itself to hit the drink. He had a month without his parents in the house, but it meant that he was in charge of the auction that was his fathers idea. The only good thing was that he could get things together the way he wanted it, the bad thing was he was now going to be under a tremendous amount of stress to deliver a party that his parents would approve of.
He'd spent an hour talking to the caterers making sure they could deliver for the party, and making sure that the food would be good. While figuring out the best place for a Marquee in the back yard which would be big enought to contain a lot of people. While doing his best not to destroy the lawn, that his mother would most likely kill him for destroying if the party got out of hand.
"I'll take another." Jade growled at the bartender. "Make it a double." he said.
He was ignoring calls from his brother, he really wasn't in the mood to listen to his brother complain about his relationship, or not having the right amount of something in the house. This was his favourite bar, and he wanted to drown his sorrow's right now.
