Colby hated to have Cat go to school alone that day but he had to go to the doctor and have his head examined...for lack of a better phrase. He had to assure her she'd be fine. "Just stay with your friends and Quenten will not bother you, just sick Si on him if he tries anything." Meaning that as a joke of course.
His father drove him to the appointment and went inside with him. The nurse behind the counter smiled at Colby as she handed him the paper work. He was going to smile back before his dad tapped him on the shoulder, "C'mon Cassanova!" They sat down and filled out the papers.
Soon he was called back into the office. "Hello Mr. Jergen's how we feeling today?" The doctor started in.
"Feelin' fine, no problems lately, with the exception of a headache now and then." Colby replied as the doctor started his work.
"Ok ok," the doctor noted and started to unwrap the bandage around Colby's head. "Well looks like you've been taking care of your injury, good to see." He took a pen from his pocket. "Just follow the pen with your eyes." He moved it up and down and back and forth and Colby watched intently. "Everything looks good there." He wrote a few more things down. "I don't see any reason why you can't drive again, everything checks out perfectly."
Colby grinned. "Thanks Doc." He jumped off the table. "Can't wait to let Cat know the news!" He was excited to let her know.
He paid the office his fees and his dad took him home to get ready for school. Colby got his things and his car keys and headed out.
He stopped by McDonalds for some breakfast before heading in, after all, they weren't expecting him at school that quickly. He was looking at the board when someone came up behind him.
