"Shut up...just shut up. God damn it Jay. Can't you for once just stop. Stop acting like you own me or that you control my life. I can fight my own battles." Trixie said to her brother in a raised voice.
Jay just shook his head, "Listen up little girl. I am older then you by a couple of minutes. That makes me the older one. And I say this idiot DJ is no good. Nate will agree with me...so stay away."
"Nate and you can go to hell if you both think that, but for your information Nate is Switzerland in this and you know it. So stop this. You are my brother and right now you are acting like him...like dad." Trixie knew that would hit a nerve.
Jay glared at his sister and got in her face. "Don't you ever call me him again. Dad is dead. I am not that rotten bastard. Do not ever call me that again. You will do this...stay away from the jock. I mean it." Jay said and walked away from his sister. Jay would never hit her, but she did hurt him.
"God you are being a bastard right now." Trixie yelled after him. "I happen to like that jock. For once...a guy is actually trying...." It was no use Jay had left. Trixie kicked the wall and grabbed her purse. She was beyond pissed at her brother. They had been fighting non stop.
Trixie decided to go to the mall. She needed to shop. Trixie was not paying attention to where she was going when she bumped right into someone. This was not her day. Trixie knew the accident was her fault, but she was pissed off and not in a good mood. "Watch where you are going next time."

Sarah walked through the mall, with one of those rare genuine smiles that she normally didn't let people see. Shopping on her own was one of her favorite things. Partly because she could buy whatever she wanted without judgment from her friends.
Sarah had money and could buy some designer things, but the fact was that she wasn't quite as rich as all of the other girls so she couldn't afford a completely designer wardrobe. Luckily she did some modeling on the side and would get free clothes at times so that usually kept her wardrobe fresh. However, the occasional trip to some of the less expensive stores to fill up the rest of her wardrobe was needed from time to time. And since usually she didn't get together with friends on Sunday afternoons...it made perfect time for shopping.
Sarah walked out of BCBG with a smile on her face. They'd had a sale and it was always great when she could get normally expensive stuff for cheap. That's when she saw Trixie. She quickly ditched her yellow Forever21 bag in the trash, emptying the contents into the BCBG one, knowing Trixie wouldn't notice. By the time Sarah wore the clothes no one would be able to tell since she had a way of putting things together that made anything look good.
Getting ready to go into school mode, Sarah was about to say hi to Trixie, when the girl just walked into her and started yelling. What?
"Geeze...Trix...and I thought you were coming over to say hello," Sarah said, her tone dry. She rolled her eyes before the other girl could see. Was Sarah pissed about the treatment she'd just received from her supposed friend? Yes, but she knew Trixie well enough not to through a fit. That, and Sarah rarely showed her anger to people. She usually let people know she was angry in other more subtle ways.

Trixie recognized the voice immediately and she actually cracked a smile. "Sorry. I am not in a good mood." Although it was probably obvious by the way she snapped at Sarah. Trixie sighted and moved her purse to the other side. "I did not mean to snap at you. I am just frustrated right now. Family sucks. Actually forget family....guys suck."
Trixie hated men right now. Well not really, but they were really getting on her nerves. Between her brother and DJ, Trixie needed a man break. "Too bad guys are needed in this world." Trixie looked at Sarah and saw her bag from BCBG. Trixie smiled even more, "You saw the sale huh." she held up her own bag. "Although i admit i did not like many of the things they had on sale, but....you know me. I never was one for sales anyway."
Trixie had no idea about Sarah or her spending habits. She thought the girl was like her and always bought the expensive things. Trixie did not even notice the Forever 21 bag that Sarah threw away. Trixie was not use to having money and now that she had it she bought only expensive items. That was part of her facade. Although she was not apposed to going to American Eagle or Forever 21, but she rarely did.
"I mean I did buy some things on sale, but not many. My grandmother gave me money today. She claims my wardrobe is out dated." Then again Trixie might have made a tiny suggestion to that effect which in turn made her grandmother want to spoil her and give her money....maybe...
"So what did you buy?"

Sarah watched as Trixie's expression changed, upon realizing it was her. Good, Sarah thought. If Trixie had actually been purposely rude to Sarah...well, there would have been trouble. Sarah needed to feel like she was in charge. Sometimes it was hard with people like Trixie because she had a strong personality too, but she seemed to know how to play the game just as well as Sarah did, so it would seem that they could get along, even if they both secretly thought they were better than the other one.
"Guys...huh...yeah, who needs them," Sarah rolled her eyes. Sarah didn't date too much. Really she was terrified of getting too vulnerable around someone else, but she liked to claim that she was just too picky. She even concealed the fact that she was still a virgin, letting her friends believe that she'd lost it back on a ski trip she went on during her sophomore year.
"So is it your brother again or...." Sarah trailed off. She'd heard this and that about Trixie and that DJ guy at school but she didn't know the details and didn't want to assume...okay she did want to assume but she wouldn't do it to Trixie's face.
"Yeah, sale, it wasn't too great but always worth checking out, right," she said. "You'll see what I got when I wear it," she teased, "I don't want to pull my clothes out in the middle of the mall," she said, wondering if it was too late to return some items. Would Trixie really remember what was on sale and what wasn't? Or perhaps Sarah would go back later and buy a full price item to wear and throw her off. She could afford it...she just couldn't afford it all of the time.

Trixie liked Sarah. She was just like Trixie in a ton of ways. Which of course led to a few head butts every now and then, but Trixie and Sarah both knew when they reached stalemate. And they did get along so it all worked out. Of course Trixie felt she was better then Sarah was, and unbeknown to Trixie Sarah was thinking the same thing about her self at the moment, but that was something neither girl would say out loud.
"Unfortunately guys are fun. To tease and play with. Especially if they know what they are doing in the bedroom." It was no secret Trixie was more experienced then most girls. She did not hide it at all, but she also did not go around bragging. "But sometimes i do enjoy not having one around. They can be worse them girls."
Trixie nodded. "Him and this guy named DJ. He is on the football team. He is the most stubborn and pigheaded guy I have ever met. He actually had the guts to think he could go toe to toe with me and win in a verbal match." Trixie just laughed. "I mean yeah i slept with him, but thats besides the point. It was suppose to be a one time thing and you know what happens...the guy can't let it go." Then again Trixie did not want him to.
"And then to top it all off he and my brother get into a fight at the beach and DJ announced to the world we slept together. Talk about embarrassing and he still has the guts to be a stubborn ass about it all." Trixie did not realize she had gone off on a tangent about the guy, but he drove her up a wall. "I mean i have never met a guy who can just push my buttons like he does. He is a bastard and he just pisses me off." That was her reasoning even though she liked him.
Trixie sighed, "Sorry...did not mean to rant, but I had to get that off my chest because thats what my brother and i have been fighting about. Jay doesn't like DJ." She told her. Trixie laughed when Sarah talked about the clothes and the sale, "I am sure you have good taste in what you bought so I look forward to seeing the items at school. Hows your life....hopefully not a frustrating as mine...."

Sarah was surprised by Trixie's tangent. She'd heard this and that...but wow...it sounded like Trixie actually had a crush. Sarah knew that Trixie slept around, but she also knew that she didn't really date anyone seriously. Sure she'd have a date for the dance or the party or whatever event was coming up, if she wanted one of course, but she'd never heard Trixie...well talk like this.
Sure, the words she was saying was that she didn't care about him...and that he was the one who couldn't let it go...but a guy who pushes her buttons more than anyone else...oh yeah, Trixie had a crush alright...she might just not know it yet. Sarah would let this go for now though...after all, she could always use it later against her if she needed to. Of course she wouldn't plan anything against Trixie, she did consider the other girl a friend, but you never knew when you'd need to hold something over someone's head. Sarah didn't really have true friends after all, everyone could turn into a frienemy from time to time.
"Wow...that sucks," Sarah said. "Yeah, I know DJ," she said. "He's cute...didn't know he was clingy though. But who cares if Jay hates him, right? I mean what would be the fun in sleeping with someone your brother approved of?" she said with a laugh. Sarah made a mental note to talk to Jayson at some point. She had to get more of this story...hear the other side. Maybe she'd even talk to DJ too. Although DJ was kind of a nice guy. He was popular enough, true, but he was nice. He wasn't conniving and didn't talk behind people's backs like the rest of the popular lot.
Sarah pushed some of her long dark hair behind her ear. "Yeah...must say I'm glad to be drama free at the moment...but that's probably because I find the Silver boys...so boring. I feel like we need some fresh blood, ya know. I'm just so tired of the same old," she said with a sigh. "Maybe I'll even start dating a Gould boy," she teased, "not that any of them are worth it either...at least none that I know of." Sarah didn't really know too many of the Gould students anyway. "Although there is always that new guy that Aly's friends with. I don't get what his deal is though...he and his sister have been around for a couple of months...don't really say a word to anyone but themselves and then go ahead and throw a huge party. Like why now, ya know?" she said, more conversationally that anything else.
"Anyway, want to grab a bite? I was conflicted between something to eat or checking out these hot shoes I saw in the window of Bloomingdales," she said, swinging her shopping bag as she walked. Could she afford a new pair of shoes right now? She wasn't so sure, but she liked to flaunt money when she was around her friends so they thought that she had just as much as the rest of them.

Trixie did not think anything of ranting to Sarah ans she had no idea Sarah thought that maybe one day she could use the information against her. Then again Trixie could handle just about anything. Except this guy. For some reason when it came to DJ.... Trixie went blind with frustration. He was just so damn annoying. "Well You have a point and I won't lie DJ was pretty good in bed. I definatly would not mind visiting his bed again. Sure that might be leading him on, but he should consider himself lucky I am giving him another chance." Trixie said.
"I admit the idea of Jay hating him does make it more thrilling. But you're right Silver guys are getting old....fast. Last time we went to Gould there was some good candidates, but sadly I think all high schools are lacking great guys at the moment." Although DJ was a great guy....CRAP....she did not just think that. Trixie had to get that big, no good, handsome, great man out of her mind. She was going to go crazy one of these days. It had not even been a week, but there was a physical attraction she could not forget and it sucked.
"A shoe store or food. God that's tough. I could use a new pair of heels for tomorrow. But I am starving. " Trixie sighed and bit the inside of her lip. "Shoes...always win in the end. Come on lets go." Trixie said smiling and walking toward the shoe store Sarah mentioned. "You know shopping is defiantly good therapy."
