Peyton had not heard or seen Isaac in three days. Well more like two and a half but it felt like forever. Combined with what she learned and Peyton was a time bomb waiting to go off. She went to school and either Isaac was not there or she avoided Isaac. Peyton had skipped school on the 12th. Now she was back in school just going through the motions. She just wanted to get home and be alone. for once she didn't want to see or talk to Isaac. For once in three days Peyton just wanted to be alone. Thats what her brain said.
Her heart yearned to know Isaac was okay and not shipped off somewhere. Yet he had yet to contact her and it was driving her mad. Peyton's father had offered to take her on his latest business trip with him, which he left for this morning, but Peyton told him to shove it and get lost.
Peyton was at her house in her room, a mixture between crying and anger. She needed to punch something. She had all this anger inside and she was not releasing it. She couldn't. Cause Peyton had no idea what was really going on. Yes her father said Isaac kept the secret, but Peyton prayed it was not true. She knew it was true, but still she needed to hear it from Isaac himself.
So Peyton decided to start being active about this situation and she decided to go to Isaac's house regardless of the consequences. She needed to see for herself that Isaac was not here. Peyton made the short drive over and parked the car. She hesitated for a moment before going to the door.
No one answered, but when Peyton tried to open the door it opened. She didn't see anyone at the home, but she didn't care if Henry or Isaac's mom didn't want her here, she needed to speak with their son. She walked to his room and just opened the door walking in then closing it behind her.
"Nice to see you are not dead...some promise you kept." She said a bit angrily.

Isaac hadn't been able to leave his house. After threatening his father, the last thing Henry Norton did was ground him. He even went so far as locking the windows and had one of the bigger bodyguards he had to stay and guard Isaac's door. Isaac didn't know that the guard was on break every once in awhile since every time he came out, the dude was standing there with a menacing growl. Like Lurch, only mean.
So his only option was to lie in bed hoping to God Peyton was alright and that her father hadn't brainwashed her into thinking he wasn't worthy anymore. But how much could he guarantee that to be true? For all he knew, Isaac's absence and complete communication breakdown just confirmed what Todd Saunders had said. Isaac was so isolated that when Peyton walked through his door, shutting it behind her, he thought he was in a dream.
Her words however shattered all hope he had. Obviously the man got to her. But he couldn't give up now, could he? This was the girl he had beaten up his own father for. And he knew, behind the words, behind the anger, the girl still felt strongly for him. She had to. He stumbled out of bed, a five o clock shadow already peppering his face. His eyes were bloodshot and he looked like he hadn't slept for days. It wasn't much of a stretch. Even if he did sleep, he'd just wake up midway wanting Peyton.
Grabbing the brunette, Isaac pulled her in his arms and fought her struggles as he pressed his lips on her hard. The kiss was immediately urgent and needy and he didn't care if Peyton was disgusted by him. He wasn't about to let her go any time soon.

Peyton had not seen the gurad, but if she had, the guard would have surly stepped aside cause she had a face that was not happy. It was this evil glare that just said get out of my way or else. Peyton had not expected Isaac to grab her. When he hand she struggled to push him off. Her hands against his chest pushing as hard as she could, but Isaac was stronger. Of course she could not resist the kiss for long and ended up giving in and kissing him back. Damn Isaac for being fucking in her heart. She could never hate him and it sucked.
Finally when the kiss ended Peyton pulled back and looked at Isaac. She just looked at him. That's when she slapped him. Hard. "How could you....why? I don't even know where to begin." Peyton said. "Let me go. Now." She demanded. It was no shock that Isaac just grabbed her again as she tried to once again get out of his grasp. The kiss moments ago proved she still loved him, but she was angry. "You should have told me. About my mom, your dad and the affair. You should have told me my father killed her."
Peyton kept struggling but it ended with her being backed against the wall. Tears in her falling, "I can't do this...I thought you were gone. I didn't know you were even alive. I thought maybe your father....and then to know you have been lying to me...was that fun for you? Some game you were playing?" Peyton said unable to keep the irritation from her voice. "Let me go." She said knowing Isaac would probably not listen.

The slap came as no surprise but it stung. He didn't let up as he backed her up the wall. Her tears broke him but he didn't let her go. Not for a second. He heard her out. He let her rant. He let her accuse him and he didn't say a word. He deserved it and he wasn't even surprised that she knew. Of course Todd would shed Isaac in a bad light. He would be surprised if Todd didn't.
"Your dad didn't kill your mom. It was an accident." Isaac said softly, running his fingers through her hair. "Just stay calm, baby girl. Please." He pressed his lips on her forehead for a long time, still pinning her to the wall. "Don't be irrational. You're better than that." Isaac sighed before stepping away from her and sitting on the edge of the bed, looking up at her. He didn't like seeing her cry.
"I wish I could say something stupidly cliche like I wanted to protect you but...I was selfish. I didn't want to tell you because I knew I'd have the upper hand if my father ever threatened me. Or if your father did." It did sound like it was a game to him. But there was no reason for him to lie to her. "You can hate me all you want but I needed it so that I could stay with you without our fathers intervening. A lot of good it did us..." He buried his face in the palm of his hand and tried to calm himself down.

"My father drove drunk with my mother in the car. He admitted to being too drunk to drive...had he not been drunk or behind that wheel I might still have a mother. Well one who seems to like fucking your father." Peyton snarled at him. "Don't tell me to calm down, you didn't just have everything you believed in crushed this weekend. " Peyton took a deep breath. Isaac was right she was being irrational. She listened as he spoke and actually laughed when he was done. It was a bitter laugh though. Peyton was truly just acting out of anger right now. Anger and betrayal.
She loved Isaac and it hurt so much to know he kept something so big from her. How could he, "So you kept your mouth shut in order to have blackmail against your dad and mine. That sounds like a game. You didn't even consider me did you, or how I would feel. All you cared about was beating your father." Peyton had known if their fathers found out the truth, then Isaac was right, it would take something big to get their father's to back down.
"How can I ever trust you again?" Peyton asked him in a soft voice. "How can I trust there aren't mosre secrets. Or that you aren't still playing some game. Was I just a pawn. Someon you could use in order to get back at our dads." Peyton wondered. She wiped the tears from her face. "I thought coming here would help give me some form of clarity, but all its done is make me angier at you." Peyton admitted.
"I can't do this any more Isaac. Its over. We are over." Peyton said. She turned and before Isaac could get to her she had run out of his room and down the stairs. The body guard had stopped Isaac, "Back to your room buddy." The guard said.
Peyton looked back once at the bottom of the stairs, but then ran out of the house and to her car. This had been a mistake. Actually knowing Isaac kept the secret cause he could use it to protect them. Peyton would have prefered Isaac actually stuck up for himself and not resulted to blackmail. That's what his and her games entailed and now she found herself a victim of one of their games in her irrational mind. She broke down crying in her car. She barely made it home. She and Isaac were no longer a couple and that devestated Peyton but how could she be with Isaac if she wasn't sure she could trust him.
Then again anger was a very powerful emotion.
