Okay, since occasionally someone asks, I figured I would include a little help section!
First, look all along the side. We have the following tools:
Quick Links - pull down the bar and then click on the "<3" button and it should take you to the appropriate link.
Word Count - as we have a minimum number of words per IC post, this should help you see if you've reached the minimum.
Chat Box - OOC chatter is always fun!
Current - Tells you all the info about the current Time Change
Updates & Events - Tells you what events are happening this Time Change and also what events are coming up.
New Students - See the four most current students. Click on their icons to go to their student pages on the wiki!
Features - See who won the awards for the week. Again, click to go to wiki pages.
Affiliates - Visit our affiliates!
Credits - Uber thanks to Holly for creating the layout for us!
Categories
The first category is pertinent information. You should find all the info you need to get started here. Mod Messages are the messages for each Time Change. Clearly you should submit applications under Character Applications
The second category is the story. This is where you post IC. the second board called the story is where all current threads are posted. The archives is where threads from the past go. Backstories is a place to play threads that occur in the past, for instance if you introduce a new character, but in-game the character has been around and knows people and you want to work out how they interact, you can play around in there. Gossip Girl is where all the gossip goes. Post gossip as gossip girl, but feel free to have your characters respond to her information..
The third category is Out of Character. First up is backstories and connections. This is essentially the same as plot pages on other boards, post to ask for connections. Weekly Awards is where you go to vote for character/player of the week. Halp! is where you post when you need help. Miscellany is not really the same as general, confusingly. It's for random things, mostly at the moment the auditions for the school plays. Notices is where you go to introduce yourself, or tell people you're gonna be away.
General Board is pretty much for anything OOC you feel like talking about, but keep it CIVIL.
