Fallon cotton was in one of her moods. Either her medication was not working or her harlot of a step mommy just pissed her off too much. Believe Fallon when she told you to leave her alone, because right now she was angry, annoyed and more then willing to bite anyone's head off, including her own siblings. Say the wrong thing, to make the wrong move and somebody's head was going to end up on a platter.
If someone took a look at Fal's room, you would see the reason why. It was a mess. An absolute mess. Papers all over the floor, clothing, books, and much more to be named if you had an hour for Fal to mention every little thing she ripped apart. Fal and the step Harlot got into a very heated discussion. It would not have been so bad if her mother had not gotten involved and took the Harlot's side.
The harlot had the audacity to suggest Fal was getting back to the point she had been the summer before her freshmen year. The Harlot though Fal was not taking her Bipolar medication. Which was far from the truth, but due to Fal acting out and stuff lately The Harlot felt as if she could suggest once again sending Fallon away to a mental health hospital that quote unquote "Could help her heal herself better then her family could. That her family was reinforcing her behavior and it was not good for her to be around her siblings when she was like this."
So in typical Fal fashion being who she is, she went postal and ripped her room to shreds. Just reinforcing exactly what the Harlot was talking about, which did not help Fal's case, but was oddly therapeutic. So right now Fal was not in the best of moods. She wanted to just do something to get her anger out. She was fine. She was taking her medication, what was the big deal. So she suck out to go to the light house and got brought back by cops. So she became withdrawn after the shooting, couldn't she had any time to deal with things. Apparently not.
Fal walked outside lunch in hand and the first thing she saw which was a trashcan got a swift kick to its side, which sent it flying down the steps. Then Fal leaned against the spot the trashcan was taking up and started to eat her lunch. Man that felt good.

Phil was outside smoking when he spotted Fallon Cotton attacking a trash can. While they were not, perhaps, the best of friends, he enjoyed her company immensely; after all, few other girls would even understand when he referred to them as Maenads, let alone play along.
"Lady Maenad!" He called out, strolling over in her direction. "Forgive me, but it appears that you are distraught. May I ask what is bothering you?" He made a move as if to doff a hat, before realizing that he wasn't wearing a hat -- the school had begun enforcing a rather stringent and ridiculous dress code ever since the shootings, as though the gangsters would not have invaded had there been a rule against wearing hats. Granted, he himself had quite a collection of fire arms, but if he had decided to come shoot up the school the fact that he was not allowed to wear his tophat wasn't likely to stop him. Not that he had any interest in shooting up the school; that was nothing less than evil. He couldn't do to others what had been done to Aimee.
He himself was in a fairly good mood: today would be the first day of the Young Republican Club and Environmental Clubs' bipartisan efforts at bettering Los Angeles, and he had high hopes for the event. Even better, the weather was absolutely perfect for the outdoors work required of a park clean up. He'd been bouncing with excitement all day long, just about. But for the moment, whatever was upsetting Fallon was his biggest concern.

Fallon heard a voice and turned around. The dress she wore did a twirl. The dress she wore resembled some what of a fantasy dress. A mix between fairies and medieval times. If that made any sense. It did to Fallon. "Why Prof. Augustus Darlington, I did not hear you approach. You gave me a fright?" Fallon said smiling for the first time that day. she giggled as he attempted to take of a hat of some sort. She understood why the school be came like a prison, but it was still sad that many luxuries in terms of dress code were taken away because of some idiot kids.
Fallon blushed as she realized Phil had seen her awful display of anger. It probably made her look like a child in his eyes. Just wonderful. Fallon took a deep breath to try and calm her nerves in some way. She was nervous now, and still angry but not at Phil and he did not deserve to become the target of her anger. "I am afraid I got into a battle of words with one of my parents and it did not end well. I have some left over anger, and decided the best victim was the trashcan." Fallon explained.
She just hoped Phil did not ask about what the fight was about. It was not something she care to talk about, "Although it did help to calm my nervous, I feel silly for the display of anger you witnessed." She told him. "So how have you been Professor. Long time since I have had the pleasure of conversing with you?" Fal was aware she could be using words that might be outdated, but it was her thing and she liked it and she knew Phil would understand.

"Ah." Phil could undersand arguing with parents; he'd had enough disagreements with his own not to hold parental arguments against anyone. "Indeed, parents can be most vexatious." He agreed, "Although I am not sure the poor trash recepticle deserves such rough treatment when it's merely an innocent bystander." He smiled. "It is entirely understandable, however."
"Too long, m'lady." He admitted solemnly. He would have spent more time with her, had it not been for Aimee's murder. He simply hadn't felt like socializing, until recently; between them Annie and Maggy and Mew had pulled him out of his funk, at least to a degree. He still mourned, but he felt less numbly desolate now. "I am afraid I have been too absorbed in my own activities of late." He wasn't exactly sure if Yeah, you know that shooting? My little sister was one of the victims was a socially appropriate thing to say, however, so he said no more than that.
He lifted his pipe to his lips once more, puffing thoughtfully; at least that was one pleasure he was still allowed, so long as he kept a proper distance from the school building. He may have been a bit closer than he was supposed to be, but nobody had said anything about it...yet.

Fallon nodded. "I know parents think they know what is best for their children, but sometimes what they think is best is really just that, what they think is best, and is not what is best at all. I am not sure that made sense, but it sounds smart, and that's good enough, I think." Fallon said with a laugh. She looked at the trash can, "I agree. The trashcan did not deserve the kick, but I like to look at it this way. The trashcan wanted to be closer to the parking lot and I just helped it along."
Fallon just gave Phil a smile as he talked about being absorbed in his own activities. She had been a tad absorbed too. In her case it had been since the shooting. She was trying to forget what she heard, saw, all of it. Of course Fallon knew Phil's sister had been killed. She learned from the list of victims that had been published, but of course Fal had no idea what those activities were, she just felt sad the poor boy lost his sister. It was sad thing to lose a family member. Not that Fallon would know about one dying, but she felt like she lost her dad since her mother turned..."I think a few of us have been caught up in out own world. Its understandable. We are teenagers. Being stuck in our own world is in our job description."
Fal watched as he lifted the pipe to his lips. She just shook her head and smiled. "Now thats a picture. You look like one of those guys who are about to solve a big mystery."

"If there is a mystery to be solved, I shall be sure to solve it." Phil declared, striking what he hoped was a dashing and dramatic pose. He wasn't sure what mystery he was supposed to be solving; maybe the mystery of whether or not cafeteria food was actually edible, or why parents insisted on prying into their children's business.
"So, Lady Maenad, will you be joining the festivities this afternoon at the park?" He queried. "Annie shall be providing cupcakes. Although I suppose I only had to mention she'll be in attendance and cupcakes would be expected." Annie was truly Gould's Sweetheart; everyone adored the little red-head, no matter clique or class or grade. In fact, he was sure that if anyone at all were to give Annie Holmes trouble, she would have students vying to defend her.
"I'm expecting a crowd, though I imagine Annie's cupcakes are more of a draw than environmental concerns," he admitted, "If you require an escape from parental supervision you could use it as an excuse. It would be appalling for your mothers to prevent you from volunteer work, after all."
The bell gonged loud and clear, warning students to hurry back from class. Phil was sorry to depart from Fallon, but the bell meant there was only one more class before the clean up began. "Farewell, Lady Maenad. I trust your day shall improve!"

Fallon smiled at Phil. He was so nice. Solving a mystery did sound like fun. Fallon loved anything that helped her escape for a while from her her life. That was the point of getting lost in her fashion designs. She loved just drawing for hours and hours. It was her escape, but role playing and just having fun. Something to help her just get away for a while. "Well if you need a sidekick, them allow me to offer my services. I am sure we can solver any crime that comes out way."
Fal perked up at the mention of Annie and cupcakes. Although she did not know Annie, that well the girl had a reputation that surpassed her and Fal knew about her and her cupcakes. "I was planning on going, but just mention Annie and cupcakes and you cannot keep me away." She laughed. "My parents will be okay with any volunteering I do, they might actually not believe me. But nothing will keep me away from helping." She assured her friend. She was defiantly going.
"I bid you adieu. Until we see each other again." Fal did a curtsy after the bell rang. She headed one way to get to her class. Phil was great. Any one who indulged in her geekdom was great in her book.
