Seeing as Evan was, well, Evan, there had been a lot of times, far too many to count, where he could be said to be excited, even overly so. And this day had to just about be at the top of the list. It wasn’t every day where a guy got to release a heap of dirty, smelly farm animals into a cheerleaders locker room with a bunch of his closest friends AND get to film the whole thing to relieve the awesome moment over and over again, preferably accompanied by candy AND have one of the prankees being the annoying (and possibly at least partly evil) step-sister of your girlfriend. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and he planned on enjoying it, and laughing hysterically as much as possible.
And because of his excitement, Evan managed to sneak away from class a few minutes earlier, rushing out to the parking lot to wait for Brittany. He hadn’t managed to get a hold of her, so he didn’t know if she already had the van, or if they were going to pick it up before they got their animals. But he didn’t care. All he was concerned with was that they were going to release animals into the school. Animals! Pigs and chickens and a goat! It was frigging awesome!
And a road trip too, to pick the animals up. It was only a small one, but still, a road trip was a road trip, and he even had one of Patch’s mix cds to play. Road trip, pranking, and possible sex. So awesome!

Brittany was excited that today was the day. They'd been talking about pulling this off for awhile now and it was finally here. The fact that Aly would be there made it even better. Brit and Aly's relationship had been kinda weird since the shooting. Brittany felt like she couldn't prank just Aly anymore. But pranking all the cheerleaders was a great way to lump Aly in with them and still get her back for the whole clothes and hair thing. Brit's hair was still blonde...blonder than originally because she'd forgot to switch out her shampoo and washed it with the blonde hair bleach once more, although after that she'd just thrown out the bottles and gotten new shampoo, she still hadn't redyed her hair back.
And as she'd sat in class, twirling that platinum hair that just kept reminding her of the prank war, she really couldn't concentrate...not one bit. So she'd skipped out on her period before lunch and skateboarded over to the Baxter's. Zac was doing much better now but he still wasn't going to be returning to school until next week, which made it all easier to get the van in the middle of the day. She'd texted him this morning after hearing from Evan that he wanted it at lunch and Zac had said it would be fine. So she'd skateboarded over, knocked on the door and he'd been waiting with the keys. It was all so....perfect.
Although Brittany had gotten her drivers license, she didn't own her own car, so didn't get much practice in that area. And driving the large vehicle was a bit cumbersome so she took her time getting back to school, arriving just before the lunch period began. Luckily Evan was standing right there in the parking lot waiting. She put the car into park and rolled down the window. "Get in," she smiled. "And you're driving." She opened up the door for him and then slid over to the passenger's seat.
As she waiting for him to get into the van she wondered how long they had to pick up the animals. The back of the van had been emptied out since they usually used it to store their instruments and today it would be to store animals but it was very roomy back there. Part of her mind wandered to what it would be like to have sex back there, but the other part of her thought it was a bad idea, it being the bands van and all. Although Brittany was glad that she and Evan had started having sex, she still hadn't told anyone about it. She wasn't sure who she could tell. Mal was her closest girl friend but Mal was dating J.J. and Brit didn't want to risk the band finding out. Whether they suspected it or not, she figured they were better being left in the dark about her sex life. And her other friends were all guys which just seemed weird as well. She supposed it would just have to be her secret for now.
Brit leaned over and gave Evan a kiss once he got into the van, her heart thumping with excitement over everything. "So, where to?" she asked. "Are all the animals in one place?" She still had no idea where he'd found them.

Seeing the now familiar van pull into the parking lot, Evan let out an enthusiastic cheer before jumping up and down on the spot, his arms waving furiously in the air as he kept up a chant of “Brit! Over here! Over here Brit!” It would be impossible for her to miss him. It would be impossible for anyone within a three mile radius to miss him. He was someone who tended to stick out. Which he always found cool, there was no fun being a wallpaper. But he also didn’t know about a pissed Silver student looking for revenge. If he did, his thoughts on laying low might have changed for a little while.
He beamed up at his clearly gorgeous and amazing (she was hot, in a band, liked candy and not only liked snakes, but co-owned to with him. She was just about his perfect girl. Not that he would admit that and let it get to her head) girlfriend as she winded down the window. “I’m driving? Sweet! Plus it’s probably safer, you looked a bit swervy coming towards me, I thought I was going to have to dive out of the way.” he teased. She wasn’t anywhere near that bad actually, but he loved driving, so he wasn’t going to knock back the chance to get behind the wheel. Besides, he hadn’t driven the van yet.
Climbing into the van, he barely shut the door and threw his bag between them before Brit’s lips were on his, and as any good boyfriend should, he quickly took advantage, lengthening it as long as possible. “We’re going to a farm!” he told her excitedly, and if his voice and face didn’t give away how much he was looking forward to the trip and prank, his banging on the steering wheel was a bit of the indication. “The guy from Craiglist said he’ll be there all afternoon, we can...ah dammit!” he groaned, realising he gave away his secret. “Don’t tell the others. It’s more fun keeping it hidden.” he laughed. “But anyway, the animals will be ready for us when we get there.”
“It’s just under an hour away, and we’ve got what, three and a half till cheerleading practice and the locker room is free?” he queried, glancing at his watch. “So we can take our time. With the trip there and back, it still gives you about an hour and a half of Evan time. Very exciting, eh blondie?” he teased with a laugh, pulling out of the parking lot. “And what do you think of my shirt? Hawaiian shirts bring out my eyes, I reckon. What can I say, I’m a pretty hot dude.”
Laughing still, he kept one hand on the steering wheel, and the other he moved to her thigh. “Oh, got one of Patch’s mix cds in my bag if you want to listen to it. And plenty of chocolate in there. Road trip after all, need supplies.”

"I was not!" Brittany protested when he said she was swerving but the grin on her face showed that she wasn't actually mad by the comment. "I'm the best driver ever...I'm just letting you do it because I'm just that nice," she said tossing her hair behind her shoulder as she settled into her seat.
She had no problems with him lengthening the kiss, in fact she preferred it that way. "A farm...that makes sense. I didn't know there were farms in LA, but then again I suppose I haven't really been outside of the immediate area," she laughed. She supposed it was common sense that they'd get the animals from a farm though. She laughed when he gave away the secret. "I won't tell a sole," she grinned. "But if we have all afternoon...maybe we should..." she trailed off leaving silence between them for a moment, "get lunch," she said. "After all, we are kind of skipping it," she smiled.
She liked the fact that they'd have some time to just chill, glad that it wasn't too far away to get the animals. But she cringed when he called her blondie. "I know...I need to dye it back," she said, scrunching up her nose. "The last thing I want is to look like one of the cheerleaders," she said. "I do like the shirt though," she grinned, "I mean, I never even told you about my thing for Hawaiian shirts," she teased, "and here you are showing up in one," she joked. "So. Damn. Hot." she said slowly, really enunciating the words, almost seductively, but of course Brit couldn't take herself seriously, so she broke out into giggles a moment later.
"Yeah sounds good," she said about the cd. She reached into the bag and grabbed the cd, putting it into the player. She also grabbed some chocolate and took a piece and then passed one to Evan. "Ah, so you did bring lunch," she grinned, "guess we'll have to find something else to do with our extra time," she said, excited about the road trip.

For a quick moment, Evan’s jaw dropped when Brittany left a long, very long gap as if deciding what they could do with all the free time before picking up the animals. He glanced from the road to her for a second, and if he looked excited before, it was nothing compared to the excitement lighting his face now. His eyes then flickered over to the back of the van, wondering if that was where she was thinking they could have their happy time. He couldn’t think of where else after all, and it would be easy to pull off to the side of the road, somewhere quiet and....it’ll be awesome! Surely she wouldn’t go for that though, he wondered, but, maybe, and it was really appealing.
But then she dropped the L bomb and the quick look of disappointment that graced his face gave way to laughter. She did have a point, he could eat. But happy time or food, it was a very difficult choice for the teenager. “You are so mean, teasing me like that!” he smirked, squeezing her thigh lightly. “But I could get a burger. My treat, in exchange for your silence, and the van.”
“You reckon?” he queried her worry about looking like a cheerleader, scrunching up his nose. “I’m not too sure. I know, after we drop the animals back, I can drop by your house, you can grab one of Aly’s cheerleading outfits. Mum’s working tonight, so we can go back to my house and you can model... I mean, demonstrate for me what you look like with it on, and I’ll tell you honestly if you look like a cheerleader. Sound good?” he chuckled.
Evan picked up a change in his girlfriend’s voice, and it really made him wish she had been serious about the sexy time. But then she laughed, and he really liked how her laugh sounded too, so it made him grin. “See, I thought you’d like it, so that’s why I wore it. Happy to do things like that for my lady, that’s just the kind of guy I am.”
“I have no idea what this music is meant to be.” he realised as soon as it started playing, something very unfamiliar. “Kinda cool though, I like it.” Seeing the chocolate out of the corner of his eye, he opened his mouth and playfully managed to nibble on Brittany’s fingers before pulling away. But chocolate for lunch? She really was mad! “Yep, I figure I could make do with the chocolate instead of the burger. You know, if there was anything else you want to do with our free time. Anything at all.” he teased with another smirk, motioning with his head to the back of the van.
Glancing in the rear view mirror, he switched lanes and turned onto the highway, managing to do it all with just the one hand. “Just teasing babe.” he grinned. “Know you wouldn’t want to. It’s all good though, you get my great company. I’ll even sing, if you really want me to.”

It wasn't that Brit didn't want to have sex. It was just that they hadn't been doing it for that long and it felt odd to her to come out and say 'I want to have sex.' It was easier to just joke about it. Evan would know that she was really being serious...right? But watching his facial expression turn from excitement to non excitement she realized that she wasn't coming across the way that she wanted to. She simply nodded when he said he'd get her a burger. She was hungry, that much was true but she would have totally sacrificed it...
Brittany gave him a look. "You've already seen me in that..." she said, thinking back to the day of the shooting...the first time they had had sex...she'd been wearing that. Maybe that's why he wanted her to wear it. "Okay....maybe...but only if you're nice," she said giving him a look. She really did need to pick a new color for her hair though. Although her hair was naturally a darker blonde she was still a natural blonde...and having platinum hair...that's what everyone did. Brit didn't want to be like everyone. She liked her rather bright choices for hair color. Maybe she'd even dye different strands different colors...that would be really different...
Brittany laughed when he said about the music. "Yeah I've never heard it either," she said. "But as much as I know about a lot of obscure bands, Patch has totally got me beat there," she said, shaking her head. She liked it though. It was like she got introduced to new music all the time and Brittany liked hearing new music. "I like it too," she agreed, smiling as he momentarily nibbled on her fingers. She watched him glancing towards the back as he said they could do anything at all...so he was thinking the same thing as her. Well, at least she was pretty sure...so all she had to do is say the words.
As he got onto the freeway, Brit wondered if it was too late. Then he said she wouldn't want to. Again...all she had to do was admit that she did. But it was so much harder in a car. Normally they'd be sitting or laying down and she'd start kissing him and one thing would lead to another... She never really had to say anything and she really didn't know why she was having a hard time saying anything...maybe it was because she hadn't yet. She hadn't even said the words aloud before to anyone but Evan. "Well...since we don't need lunch now," she said, grabbing another piece of chocolate from the bag, "I'd be up for any suggestions you have..." she said, kind of tilting her head slightly so that it was pointed towards the back of the van. Of course it was much harder to pull to the side of the freeway, but maybe when they got off it would work out better, especially when they got to the farm because Brittany could only imagine that the roads near there would be much less crowded and trafficy.

“I know I have! And I wouldn’t want you to be an actual cheerleader, I mean, I’m high maintenance, you have to spend as much time with me as possible. But still, the outfit is pretty hot.” Evan laughed, poking his tongue out. “Oh, I’ll be nice! You know me, I’m always nice.” he pointed at. “To you anyway.” She kept twirling her hair, and while he wasn’t always the most observant, he could pick up she wasn’t happy with her hair. He kinda liked it, though he figured he would have liked any colour hair on her.
“Okay, how’s this?” he smiled, his hand moving from her thigh to her hand, pulling it away from her hair and slipping his fingers between hers. “On the weekend, we could pick up some dye and do both of us. I’m still thinking about maybe like a neon green for me. You haven’t yet delivered on your deal to dye my hair all purdy!” he grinned. He then raised his eyebrow, trying to give her as menacing a look as possible. “And then I can help you dye yours. I’ve never done it before, but I’ll be right. Honestly.”
He watched her grab more chocolate, and he was going to insist that he didn’t mind getting them both a burger, when she repeated the much better idea. He glanced at her again, as if trying to work out if she was serious. And though girls were impossible to understand, he was fairly sure she was. She wouldn’t have looked at the back of the van if she wasn’t. At least, he didn’t think she would. The back of the van wasn’t that exciting after all.
Another eyebrow raise, but this was quickly replaced with a very large, very goofy grin. “Well, you know me Brit. I’m always full of ideas.” Evan grinned, bouncing around a little in his seat, pressing down on the accelerator just a little bit more. He was really, really keen to get off the freeway now.
“Ah, why do these roads have to be so long?” he grumbled, glancing into the rear view again as he tried to work out which exit to take, to get them off sooner. And he knew if he got them off early, he would get lost, and though that would normally be fun, they needed to get the animals, cause the prank was going to be the best ever!
Biting on his lower lip, he considered trying to pull over then and there, but ruled it out. “Um, our exit is in about twenty minutes.” he told her, before his usual grin crossed his face. “So you’re just going to have to hold off jumping me till then. I know, it’s going to be tough, with the shirt and all. But at least try to control yourself.”

"Well that's good because I don't think I could be a real cheerleader," she said. "I mean I have pep...just not for the football team. I'd much rather use up my energy jumping around a stage," she explained. Although the band was on a bit of a break since Zac had gotten shot that didn't mean they were broken up. They just needed a rest and then they'd get back to it. Plus, Brit had already written a few new things that she'd share with them their next rehearsal. They wrote most of their songs together, usually it was Ian or she that got them started though and then the rest of them would put in their input and they'd all finish it together. She liked it that way.
"But you really think the cheerleader thing is hot...is it like in guys DNA or something...you know to think cheerleaders are hot?" she asked. It wasn't a bad thing per say, it was more that she hadn't expected Evan to be into them. "Well, I suppose if you are into cheerleaders its a good thing that I have a uniform I can steal whenever I want," Brittany shrugged. Aly would probably kill her if she knew that Brit was stealing the uniform to have sex in but, that kind of made her more willing to do it. The fact that she was pulling one over on her step-sister.
"Yeah, you're right," she said. "I still do need to dye yours," she grinned. "Too bad I threw out all that bleach that Aly stuck in my shampoo...you could have used it since you'll need to bleach your hair first or the green won't show up," she explained. In away the blonde wasn't so bad if she thought of it that way. It was a good base color to do anything she wanted with it. And she had dye here and there all over her room...maybe not enough to cover her whole head but she could probably give herself some streaks or something until she had the time to dye it over for real. She smiled, now excited about the idea. "Yeah...you're right," she grinned, squeezing his hand. Brit just hated to blend in and she thought the blonde hair thing made her blend since so many other girls had blonde hair.
"See...always new I could count on you for ideas," Brit grinned watching as he sped up. He wasn't going ridiculously fast so she didn't mind the slight speeding. Laughing when he complained about the roads being so long, Brittany couldn't help but grin. Evan was so great. It was like she didn't even have to say anything. He just knew...they were on the same page and she liked that. "I suppose I can deal with 20 minutes...if I have to..." she said, giving his hand another squeeze. "But you're right...that shirt is pretty distracting...maybe you should just take it off," she teased, okay maybe she was half serious, but she said it teasingly.

“Of course perving on cheerleaders is not in our DNA!” Evan pointed out with a smirk, before shrugging. “I think it’s more of an instinct thing.” Laughing, he gave his girlfriend a wink. “Honestly though, you don’t have to go to all that effort, to dress up for me. You don’t have to wear anything, anything at all.” Now that was a pleasant thought. He liked Brit naked. Well, he liked her in clothes too, but he wouldn’t say no at the chance of seeing her naked again.
“I was actually thinking about stea...borrowing a jacket from one of the jocks at the school, act all jerky, wouldn’t be hard, I’d just copy what Aly’s friends do.” he explained. “That would really freak her out I think. Not that she’d buy it, but it would be funny, hanging around her all day.” He knew Brit had trouble with the notion of pranking and being not so nice to her step-sister now since the shooting. But he had no qualms with it whatsoever, it was all harmless fun after all. So he was happy to help his girlfriend out by doing enough pranks for the both of them. “To be honest though, can’t say I’m really into cheerleaders. Hot rock girls are more my thing. Even if the one I like eats all my candy and has a freaky sister. Why would I want to trade down for a cheerleader, huh?”
He always forgot about the important things, like bleach. So it was probably a good idea he hadn’t attempted anything with his own hair yet. Knowing him, he would end up with no hair. Which actually would be pretty funny. “Well, we can pick up some bleach when we get the dye. So you reckon green? Or maybe blue, can’t decide.” Both would be cool, he wondered how hard it would be to get one side blue and the other green. “Oh! What about a mohawk? That’ll be awesome! Or maybe shave some sweet patterns on the side. This is going to be fun!” If he had the patience, he would even be tempted to grow a mullet. That would have been hilarious. “Just for curiosity’s sake, that I would ever plan on using this information, scouts honour, but how Aly put bleach in your shampoo, would it work with like, blue dye instead?”
At the second squeeze to his hand, Evan smiled, more to himself than anything, idly moving her hand to his lips to kiss. This whole relationship thing was working out pretty good, he figured. Brittany was awesome after all, and though he got along with most people, he had never felt like the way he did around her, about her, with any other girl. And he guessed, not that he was an expert in dating and all that, but he figured that was a really good sign. And she really liked him too. That had to count as a plus.
“Huh?” he mumbled, glancing over at the girl at his side, thinking he hadn’t heard her right. But her giggling, and the odd, really nice way she was looking at him made him think he had heard her spot on. So laughing too, he rolled his eyes. “Wow Bit, you really can’t get enough of my body, can you?” he teased, before letting out a sigh. He had never been self conscious about anything in his life, plus Brit was his girl, plus it was too fun to pass up. And he didn’t think he looked too bad anyway. Sure, he wasn’t all built like the jocks at school, but they were all vain and stupid, so he didn’t mind being different. He had muscles, sure, they just weren’t as easy to see. And while he didn’t have a six pack, he decided a four pack was better.
“Alright, alright, the things I do for you.” he spoke, trying to sound resigned, but it was all he could do to stop himself from laughing. Letting go of her hand, he quickly started to unbutton his shirt with one hand. When that was all done, he very briefly let go of the wheel to pull his shirt off, causing the car to swerve (barely, to his mind) and the car at his side to bang on the horn and start yelling. So of course he had to yell back. “Give me a break! Can’t you see I’m trying to do a striptease here!” he yelled out, the laughter in his voice now.
And when the car sped off, Evan threw his now discarded shirt right at Brit’s face. “You do suit red.” he laughed before taking her hand again. “I know what you’re thinking. I’m really, really, ridiculously good looking. I know.” he told her seriously. “But, I must admit, you’re model mat....15 minutes left! Not that I’m eager or anything. Not at all. I mean yeah, I’m eager. For the prank. Of course. Yeah, nothing else. You know, if it makes you feel more comfortable, you can take your shirt off too.” he teased. “I wouldn’t want you get....this is a really good song. Wow, I get distracted a lot.”

Brittany smiled when Evan explained the cheerleader thing. Maybe he didn't realize it, but it made her feel better. Sure, Evan liked the way she looked, she knew that, but before he'd come along, she hadn't exactly had the best self-esteem. But hearing that he liked her more that cheerleaders was the self-assurance she needed, in fact, it made her decide that she would go ahead and steal that uniform to please him. She wasn't sure when she'd be able to get her hands on it, but she was sure she could at some point.
When he mentioned stealing a jock jacket, Brit opened her mouth to explain how jocks did not turn her on in the least but before she could do this, he explained his plan and she ended up laughing instead. "I like it," she said. "You should walk around in it all day...see how many people really believe you're on the football team now or whatever," she said with a smile. Brittany didn't really have much faith in her peers. She believed most of them (Aly included) would fall for it.
"Hmmm not sure," she said about the dye. "I think I have some blue at my house, but not enough to do your whole head. Also, that said its old, which means it wouldn't last very long," she admitted, "But either way, green or blue, I think it could be pretty fun," she said, smiling when he mentioned a mohawk. "That would be awesome but I know nothing about shaving heads. Dying I can do...I've done that enough, but I've never shaved anyone's head before," she said. She smiled when he asked about putting the dye into the shampoo, she knew exactly what he was thinking. "It would work but not as well as the dye and it would be more noticeable because it would change the color of the shampoo," she explained. "The bleach won't change the color of it or anything and its stronger than dye, so more effective." If there was one area of expertise that Brittany had aside from music, it was dying hair. After all, she'd been doing her hair since freshman year so she definitely had the experience.
Brittany smiled again when Evan kissed her hand. Smiling seemed to be contagious around him...everything he said or did made her smile. It actually made her feel like a bit of a dork, but she really didn't care. Brittany had never really been in a real relationship before Evan, so when they made it official, she hadn't really known what to expect. But he was pretty awesome and they had a lot in common, so thus far she was pretty happy about the whole thing.
She laughed again as he teased her about her request. "What?" she said, innocently, "I don't know what you're talking about," she teased, still pretending to be innocent of the whole thing. She watched as he unbuttoned it, grabbing the wheel when they swerved and bringing them back into the right direction. She didn't let go of it until he finished removing his shirt and had his hands free again. Although his yelling at the other drivers was funny, Brittany preferred not to run into them. It would have seriously ruined their plans.
Once he grabbed the wheel again, Brit let go, only to have his shirt thrown in her face. "Thanks, I always wanted a Hawaiian shirt," she teased holding it close to her heart as if it really meant something. "Yep, that's pretty much exactly what I was thinking," she grinned as she discarded his shirt on the floor. "Really, really ridiculously good looking...I bet in the second grade you even caught your reflection on a spoon and thought, wow I'm really, really ridiculously good looking," she joked, half-quoting Zoolander, before listening to him jump from one subject to the next. "Yeah, A.D.D. much?" she teased. Although as much as he'd been distracted, she had heard his request. Normally she would have felt strange just taking off her shirt, but now that he had, she kind of wanted to as well. It was kind of fun. "So, yeah...this isn't too distracting then?" she asked, pulling her T-shirt off over her head. Sure she still had a bra on, a solid black, nothing really special one, but she was still kinda topless.
