"Oh, it's on the computer!" Julia informed him as it dawned on her just how much she took it for granted that other people knew what she was talking about. She was apparently spoiled by talking with Jeremy and Connor, who were capable of following her crazy trains of thoughts because they knew her well. "It might be fun to play in the park, but I dunno, that would be kinda like LARPing, wouldn't it be, and LARPing is at the bottom of the geek totem pole, isn't it?" She asked doubtfully. Maybe LARPs simply seemed more shameful because it was more public. She made a face at the idea of her main being married, "No, I only really play with Connor, and I'm not having my character marry his. That'd be too strange." Almost as strange as playing her twin's love interest. Ick. "I thought about making one of my alts from Rohan, though, and say she's over around Bree and stuff looking for her husband, but I dunno if I will."
She shrugged, "Anyway, just do the free trial with me and Connor, first, and if you like it, which of course you will, it's awesome! But, no use paying to get it until you're sure, but anyway, after that we can really work on our characters history together and figure out why they're adventuring together and all that, it'll be so much fun! And then we'll have to convince Levi and Lexi to join us, too, so they don't feel like I'm neglecting the guild."

Feeling a bit stupid for not knowing she was talking about computers, Danny was quiet as she talked about LARPing which he thought sounded like fun, though this made him the ultimate geek however. This explained his daily sojourn in his gym locker and made him wonder why Julia did not run every time she saw him coming. This was very depressing and made him reconsider bothering her again. She genuinely seemed to want him to play this game with her and her best friend though. He just had to adjust his way of thinking. She obviously only had friendship in mind with regards to him. “I suppose so,” he answered about the live action roleplaying and its place on the geek totem pole. He really didn’t understand why everyone’s opinion mattered so much. He had found that mass approval wasn’t nearly as fun as following his rather quirky imagination.
“If you want a married couple, I would be glad to offer a character for espousal,” he offered, having to force himself to keep his mind in the realm of reality with that situation. Marrying Julia’s character would not indeed make them truly a couple and he needed to begin to act like a friend or she would ultimately reject him as she wanted someone else… someone who was less ‘geeky’ than he was.
“Would I bring my laptop with me then?” Danny asked. A Geek he might be, but he was not the techno type of geek. He very rarely moved his computer from his desk and it had not left his room since it had been brought there Christmas a few years before. “Perhaps Connor’s new friend might want to learn to play as well? That way you could meet him in a relaxed atmosphere.” Sometimes he could be totally oblivious, but even he had realized that Julia was missing her best friend.
