[Character name: Aly Durrand] [Location: Santa Monica Carnival]
Aly was so thankful not to have the sling on any more. She had her stitches out now. However, her should was still hurting and still needed to heal. However, she could move it a little. Sure it had been a week, but some ligament shad been torn thanks to the shot, so she needed some more time to heal. The deal was no sling if she promised not to raise her arm past her elbow. It was freaking hard, but Aly hated the damn sling.
Aly decided she could use some fun. After all, she could no longer cheerlead for now, which sucked, but she would be back once her shoulder healed. So for now she would go to the practices to show her support, but still it sucked. Aly loved cheer leading. She was good at it.
So Aly decided the carnival was a good place to clear ones head. At least now she could eat cotton candy and have funnel cake without worry about putting on the pounds for cheer leading. Although now the issue was how to work it off, but she had legs, which was better then she could say for some other people. The things people took for granted. Aly was just walking around right now eating her cotton candy when her body collided with someone else. Never a pretty thing, especially since the other persons shirt was now just a tad sticky. "Sorry.' She said with a smile. But it was a tad funny.

Why was he even here? And where was that sister of his that he loved so dearly? And really...why did he let her talk him into going to places like this... Jasper grimaced just looking around. If there was one thing that was so far from his style it was carnivals with the sticky foods and things like pig races.
And if things couldn't get worse, he turned around, his eye on a blonde who he momentarily thought was his sister...it wasn't, as he turned someone and their cotton candy smashed right into the Ralph Lauren shirt he wore.
"Seriously! Do I have a target on my chest or something?" he barked, now furious. But as he took a step back he saw Aly there with sticky pink sugar on a stick. Yuck. Jasper let out a sigh, glaring at the girl who always seemed to be a constant thorn in his side. "Oh...you...I should have known," he said, shaking his head. "So I see you ditched the cast...that's an improvement...the cotton candy not so much," he said, shaking his head.
"So what are you doing here?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. "Did Riley drag you to the lameness too?" he asked.

Once Aly noticed who it was she did begin to laugh. It was a sophisticated laugh, where she covered her mouth at first to be polite, "Oh Jas I am sorry. Really." She said with a pout. It was as fake as can be. Then Aly slowly licke dher fingers and smiled, "You know pink is a good color on you. Not many men could pull it off. Next time you should try a light purple shirt. I hear a man who can wear pastel's can get in quite a few back doors." She winked. Yes her comment could be taken mutiple ways, one of which was a sexual reference and if Jasper of all people did not get the 'back door' joke then he was a virgin.
"Actually I invited her to meet me. I needed some fun of the non cheerleading crime and a Carnival is the perfect excuse to have cotton candy and funnel cake. And now I really love cotton candy. Nice to know it can be a weapon as well." She said with a smile. It was jsut natural to have a witty banter with Jasper. He was a harmless guy to her. Just a pain in her ass, but she was use to dealing with those. All those pranks with Brit really helped.
"Have you ever had cotton candy. Pure sugar, there is nothing better in the world. I mean i can worry about calories tomorrow. One cotton candy never hurts...here..." She held out a piece to Jasper, "Take it or I am going to put it in your mouth anyway. So you might as do it yourself." To anyone else that might sound bad, bit to Aly and Jasper it was just a way for her to annoy him even more and it was so funny to see his reaction.

"Going through my wardrobe much?" Jasper said, raising his eyebrows when she started talking about the pastels. Anyone who knew Jasper knew that he wasn't afraid of colors that were sometimes considered feminine. He thought that a real man could wear any color he wanted and pull it off. It was the insecure ones that couldn't wear any color of the rainbow. Jasper had to let out a laugh at the back door comment. "Well, what can I say," he smirked giving her a look. "I'm just that good," he laughed.
"Ah...so it was you...that make much more sense. I knew I was right to think my sister would be too classy to hang out at a carnival," he teased. "Now do you have a napkin or are you going to make me beg," he said, still teasing. Both of them knew that he'd never beg. "But speaking of weapons of food...you said it was your step-sister that was responsible for that cake at my birthday?" he asked. "Really, you must point her out to me so I can ruin her life accordingly," he said. He would get his revenge.
Jasper gave her a look when she asked if he'd ever had cotton candy and told him she'd force him to try it. He smirked as he took her hand into his, lifting towards his nose. "You're right...maybe its time I've tried some," he said, slipping her middle finger into his mouth and licking off the cotton candy seductively and then repeating the motion with her index finger. "Mmmmm," he murmured. "You're right...delicious," he said, flashing her a devilish grin.

Aly was impressed with how Jasper took the back door comment. She gave a light laugh at his return response. "That good huh....if that is the case, then um..why have I not heard of such greatness....unless you have a dirty little secret coming from that back door." Aly said. She raised an eye brow and gave him a sultry look. "Just whom do you have experience with..." She wondered. Aly did not think Jasper would ever, in a million years let a guy any where near him in a sexual way, but she could not help with the comment. "As for your wardrobe, I only go through it because I care. You need help." She said and lightly messed with his Ralph Lauren shirt.
"Oh come on. Gotta love the carnival. Its so romantic if you are with the right person. I guess I will just have to settle for you." Aly said shaking her head and letting out a sigh. "You are better then no one." She said with a small shrug. "Your sister is missing all the fun. You so owe me a Ferris Wheel ride. Ride with me and I just might help you...as for the napkin...oh you will so have to beg for it." Aly said with a playful voice and a sweet smirk.
Aly locked eyes with Jasper as he started to say it was time to try it. She had no idea what he was doing until he did it. Slowly her middle finger was lifted to his mouth and then her index finger. Both licked and sucked and it left her with shivers. Which was not cool. This was Jasper her. She was suppose to dislike him, not enjoy what he was doing. Aly had to recover quickly from the moment when her body got goose bumps.
She removed her hand from his and smiled. Then Aly took a piece of cotton candy and smiled. She moved it toward his mouth and as she was about to put it in she took it back and seductively put it in her own mouth. Then she sucked her own index finger and licked her bottom lip. "Glad you liked it. I always enjoy leaving a man wanting more." She purred. " If you are a good boy I might give you another piece. It is very sweet." She licked her lips again. "The sweet taste stays on your lips for hours." She said as she cocked an eye brow. "It's defiantly a real treat. "

"You haven't?" Jasper asked raising his eyebrows nonchalantly. "I would have thought word of my greatness would have reached your ears but I suppose that you just aren't in the know anymore," he said with a slightly over-exaggerated shrug. Jasper was teasing of course. They both knew it. Jasper could have gone on and made a big deal about how he'd never do a guy but that's what Aly wanted...to get to him. And he wasn't going to let that happen. If it was anyone else he might have clarified more--made it very clear that he was not gay, but it was Aly. She knew him well enough to know that he was not gay. And he knew her well enough to know that even if she teased him about it, that she knew he wasn't either.
"I need help, really?" he asked simply about his wardrobe, not breaking a sweat about it. "I believe I'm the one setting the trends...not following them like some people I know," he said giving her a look. "Plus, you must remember that I have the best stylist in the world at my fingertips," he said, referring to his sister. Riley might have liked vintage things while he preferred brand new, but there was no doubting that the girl had style.
"Carnivals...romantic?" Jasper said, giving her a look. "You really think that you're life is like some big romantic comedy don't you? Or perhaps an episode of the OC?" he asked. "Carnivals are not romantic. Midnight boat rides and champagne are romantic...or perhaps a trip to the Riviera...French or Italian would do...or maybe a candle lit dinner on the roof of the Waldorf," he mused. If there was one thing that Jasper had, it was class. If he wanted to woo a girl...he knew how to do it the right way and that didn't include cheesy carnival rides. He let out a sigh when she mentioned the ferris wheel. "If I must," he said, "but only because I suspect I'll get a good view of the place and perhaps locate my evil sister who talked me into coming her on behalf of you," he said pointedly. "And as for the begging, you know that will never do," he said, shaking his head. "Nice try though," he added, with a light laugh.
Jasper just smirked as he watched Aly's reaction to his little flirtation. He could see that he'd gotten to her, even if only for a moment...oh and he loved that moment. Getting to Aly was one of the victories in life that he enjoyed most. "Oh really now," he said, watching as she tried to capture his attention back. He had to admit...watching her with the cotton candy was seriously hot, but he'd already gotten his footing when he'd watched her falter and he wasn't going to let her get to him now...or at least he'd try his best to not let her get to him. After all, if there was one person who could get to him it was Alyson Durrand. But at this moment, he was standing strong. "Yeah, a real treat," he said with a smirk. "So about those cake exploders...you gonna tell me who did it? Otherwise I might have to assume it was you and it would be a real shame to reak my revenge on you...after all you have such pretty hair..." he said, twirling a strand of it with his finger. Of course he was just messing with her again. If it did turn out to be her, sure he'd plot revenge on her, although he would just mess with her as opposed to attempting to ruin her life...as for her hair, he had no plan involving it. He just wanted to make her squirm again.

Aly let out a small laugh, "I know everything...you seem to have lost your touch. Shame too. I guess you will have to settle for being average for once." Aly said with a soft purr in her voice. She smiled as well. Jasper...average, was a laugh. What bugged her the most was his stupid ego. God, how he could make it seem like he was god's gift sometimes drove her crazy. "I will agree you have the best stylist, but as for setting trends, you wish. No one would want to follow that rich boy look. It's not the California way." Aly smirked. Although he looked damn good, but she would never say that.
Aly let out giggle as Jasper explained what he thought romance was, "No way is my life an episode of the OC. That's way to much drama for me. Unrequited love, jealousy, and all that, no thanks. Now a romantic comedy I agree with. Whats wrong with liking the simple things in life." Aly said. "See you use money to show romance. hasn't anyone ever told you money does not buy happiness." Although it was not bad to have. Aly loved having money. She did, but her mothers side of the family was so unhappy. They put such value on money it was sad. However, Aly suspected she would be unhappy if she was poor. "However, I do love your ideas of romance. Money does buy a lot." She said with a smirk. "One of these days you will beg. i know it....I can bend you to my will." Aly smiled as she dragged him toward the Ferris Wheel. "Its defiantly a good view.
They stopped as Jasper started to speak again. Aly watched his hand in her hair for a moment, but she was good now. The first move caught her off guard, but this one she was prepared for. She just stood still. Pretending and never admitting that he got to her. She just smiled as she placed her good hand on his shoulder. Aly took a step closer and lowered her voice, "Sounds like a threat hasting. Why do I have a feeling you could never hurt me. Its all talk." She said raising a brow. The she slowly moved her hand and ran it through his hair to the back of his neck. She lightly grazed the back of his neck with her nails. "As for who it is....I will tell you...only if I can help..after all I do not want lives ruined, but messing with them might be some fun...and only if you agree to owe me a favor...."

"Average...I don't know the meaning of that word," Jasper said. And it was true, it was a word he tried to keep out of his vocabulary unless he was talking down to someone. Jasper never wanted to be average and even teasing about it was irksome but he couldn't let Aly think she was getting to him so he simply smiled as if it didn't bother him one bit. "Yes, I have noticed that people here are so...casual," he said, using the word as if it was a bad thing. "I don't think I'll ever truly be at home here. Riley likes it though." Truthfully, Riley never wanted to go back to New York. There was too much shame and hurt egos there. Jasper didn't care. He had his trust fund now and knew he could buy everyone back in an instant if he really wanted.
Jasper cocked his head to the side when she said that money didn't buy happiness. "It doesn't?" he asked, his tone completely serious. "Funny coming from you though...I know where you come from," he said referring to the lavish was he knew they'd both been raised. Maybe Aly's father wasn't as flashy with the money but it didn' t mean that it wasn't there. Jasper had been miserable when he was poor. Now he felt like he was finally getting his life back. "Let's just say that if I'm going to spend time to romance a girl, I'm going to do it the right way," he said. "And I said it before and I will say it again, begging is just not my style. That said, you can bend me anyway you like," he said with a smirk.
As she touched him, Jasper could feel little tingly sensation causing goose bumps--particularly when brushed her fingers along the back of his neck. He bit the insides of his cheeks, forcing himself to stay composed. "Doesn't have to be a threat," he said, locking eyes with her. He wanted those names. Maybe not everyone had been bothered by the exploding cake as he had, but as far as he was concerned, it had ruined the party and he needed to get even. He let out a sigh with she said she wanted to help. "Are you talking about childish pranks again," he said giving her a look. "Being childish will get you nowhere in life," he said. "You have to take action...take things into your own hands." He stopped reading Aly's look. He knew she wasn't going to budge. "Fine, you can help but we're at least having their cars repossessed," he said said firmly as they reached the front of the ferris wheel line. He paid the man and then gestured for Aly to go ahead of him. "Ladies first," he said.

Aly knew well Jasper well enough to know the one thing he was afraid of was to be average. Or at least it was one of the things a guy like Jasper was afraid of. The day Jasper was considered average was the day hell became the garden of Eden. Something that would never happen. Either way it was still fin to say. She might not have seen a visual reaction, but she knew it had to make him upset at least a little. "Casual is not so bad....besides I bet even you do not always look your best. I am sure there are a few times when even you look messy." Her comment was meant to sound very sexual. She was referring to waking up after a night of wild sex, as supposed Jasper was prone too or something like that.
She raised a brow as Jasper spoke about know where she came from. "Awww see...I knew you paid close attention to me." She winked. Aly could not hide the laughter in her voice at the comment. "I am sure you wine and dine a woman for more then just to show her romance. I am sure you use lavish romantic dates to get more then just a kiss goodnight." She said giving him a look. "Just know that some girls do not fall for the romance. It takes more work then a few right dates to get someone like me in your bed." She assured Jasper. Aly had to laugh at his last comment, "Be careful what you say. If I ever bend you over, you will defiantly want more." She said with a smirk. of course Aly was a virgin, but still. She could play the game.
Aly scooted inside. She crossed one of her long legs over the other. It was a good say to wear a nice mini skirt. Sure the low might get cold, but to be honest Aly had a jacket and her upper body always got colder then her lower body. Besides she had boots on that came just below her knees. So she was still mostly covered. "Who said I was referring to childish pranks? I am quite good at pulling sophisticated pranks....." Aly assured him. Jasper always thought things she did were childish. Perhaps they were, but they were fun.
Aly smiled and leaned closer to him. "Cars....good luck. My sister does not own a car. All she had is a van. The only one with a car might be the boyfriend." Aly informed Jasper. "Just remember you owe me a favor for this......and I will collect in time." Aly gave him a devilish grin. "There were four people involved." She held up four fingers. "Tell me what you plan to do and I will give you a name. No offense, but I do not trust you to include me." So she had to hold some information to herself. She might have let it slip about the boyfriend, but Jasper would need her to point the boyfriend out.

Jasper smirked when Aly went on about being casual and looking messy. "Well, how I look in the bedroom really has nothing to do with how I dress on a day to day basis, now does it," he said, knowing exactly what she was referring to. If he was aware that Aly was still a virgin he would have been quite surprised. He also might have worked a little harder to get her in bed with him...avoided the game they played and started a real one where he was pursuing her. Jasper thought it was silly for anyone their age to be a virgin...except Riley of course. He would have been okay with his sister being a virgin, although he knew very well that she wasn't, he just chose not the think about that.
Jasper actually let out a laugh when she accused him of wining and dining women to get sex. "Of course," he said. "Why else would I do it? Do you really think I'm interested in relationships?" he asked. "No one wants just a kiss good night...not a good lay good night...now that's worth the effort." He might not have been as open with his motives with most people...not wanting them to know his game but as far as he was concerned, Aly already knew it. There was no reason to conceal his true self to her. "Is more really so bad?" he said in response to her other comment. He was leading her on of course, but that was all part of it. He led her on and acted as if he wanted her and then the next moment acted as if he wanted nothing to do with her. It was what they did, always keeping each other on their toes. Truthfully, if he would take Aly to bed in a heartbeat, the problem there was what was next. Old friend or not, Jasper still didn't want a relationship. He'd never been in one and didn't really believe in them.
Jasper made no secret that he checked her out before sitting down next to her. She was hot and showing off her legs, and Jasper was too much of a pig most of the time to be coy about checking a woman out. He liked them to know he was interested in the way they looked and even if they called him out on it, like Aly most certainly would, he'd always have a comment ready to seduce them right back in.
"Well then show me your skills, Durrand," he said, about showing him sophisticated pranks. That was part of the problem too though...they weren't really pranks to him. They were revenge. "Oh really? Well, I'm sure I can figure it out. If I find out your step-sister's name, I can find out who her boyfriend is," Jasper said. "And as for what I'm planning...I haven't completely decided yet. I suppose I was going to start with repossessing cars although if only one of the losers have one...that could be a problem. I will have to think of something that will get to them...perhaps break your step-sister and her boyfriend up, that could probably be done fairly easily. Or maybe I should just get them all expelled," Jasper said. He was completely serious of course. These were the kind of revenge tactics that Jasper believed in. He could be ruthless when it really came down to it. Although in the back of his mind he knew Aly wouldn't let him resort to his usual measures so he really needed to find out who these people were and go behind Aly's back and do his bidding.
