She laughed when Taki said he thought Jett was her boyfriend, "I am glad someone told you other wise, or else that would be embarrassing. Yeah some people think he is adopted, but I assure you we are half siblings." She told Taki, "I am sorry your older brother is upset, but being a doctor is a good profession, as for your sister I can relate. What little girl does not dream of her wedding. It took me years before I fell for journalism." Izzy admitted.
"Oh S'mores are so good. You roast the marshmallow over the fire then put a piece of chocolate on the cracker and when the marshmallow is done you put it on the cracker as well and then eat it. It's very sticky but good." Izzy said. "Trust me, when you try it, you will want more." She said with a small giggle. "You can invite whomever you want. I do not mind how many people show up." She told him. She almost let out another chuckle when he said brothers. She just smiled and squeezed his hand, "I ummm. I only have one brother, so it would be four of us, but I would not mind if we invited more. We can tell ghost stories."
(OOC: Why would I yell, I have no idea what *bump* means...)

The s'mores sounded... unusual but Takumi was willing to give it a try. Besides, Izzy clearly liked them and so they surely had to be nice! "No... brothers... I meant both yours and Lia's," he quickly clarified.
He looked down at their hands, fingers interlaced. This had happened so fast... Ok, so it had taken him a while to muster up the courage to ask her out but since Izzy had said yes the speed in which they were moving was both breathtaking and most welcome. It told him that maybe she had hoped this might happen and that warmed his heart even further.
Already he was making a mental list of who to ask on the camping trip - in addition to Izzy and Lia. The Cottons, of course. Evan and Dare? They might be interested. Ezzie Lopez, Roxy and Ana. Vic - minus spider! The list went on and it came as something of a surprise to realise how many people he'd come to know and call friends.
"I promised you some cotton candy," he stated with a smile. "Come on," he added and he tugged on her hand. The pair ran to a nearby booth, laughing as they went...
(LOL! bump = me writing something totally inane on our thread so that it was pushed up the forum list. It was on page 2 and I was worried you might not see it there... so 'bumped' it up the list ;P)

"Right sorry, I had a memory lapse about Lia's other brother Jandro. How could I forget him." Izzy said, "Now I am embarrassed, you will have to forgive my lack of knowing that." She felt so bad for misreading what Taki said, but it happens. "I think it will be so great to have so many people there. It will defiantly be a big get together. We will all need to bring tents and sleeping bags. It would be nice to sleep under the stars." Izzy had never done it before so the idea was actually kind of scary.
Izzy knew it might be to early to call him boyfriend or say they were dating exclusively, but she hoped so. She really wanted to see where this thing with Taki was going and she would like to be the only girl for him, but he might have other girls he wants to see, but she hoped not. The thought made her jealous.
She laughed as they took off running to get cotton candy. "And I owe you funnel cake." Izzy told him. "I think I am going to have one big sugar rush after this." She laughed. "So we should go out to dinner one night. Any ideas where you would want to go?" Izzy asked. She was trying to think of many ideas and many places the could go, so she could show Taki what Cali had to offer.

It would be nice to camp out with all of their friends but at the same time Takumi liked being alone with Izzy. Selfish? Perhaps but maybe he was allowed that small indulgence.
"Ah yes, the funnel cake!" he replied with a laugh. "The first time we ever met you fed me funnel cake! I remember it like it was yesterday." He paused and frowned slightly but in good humour. "It wasn't much more than yesterday, was it!" he stated. It felt such a long time ago. So much had happened since then. "I came to town on.. um... Valentine's Day," he revealed with a wink. "Quite an appropriate date, eh?" He laughed again but in less than 2 weeks he'd almost been killed and had found himself a girlfriend. Life was virtually zooming along... No complaint on either count as being alive and dating was a fine situation to find yourself in!
"Dinner would be amazing," he added. "I'd love a sushi restaurant but perhaps I need to try other types of food. Thai? Or maybe something from Europe. I like Italian food. Pasta!" He shrugged slightly. "Do you know of a good restaurant nearby? I don't mind at all if we have to go on my scooter!"
He paused and rubbed at his chin. "I have someone you might like to meet... I will bring her next time. After school tomorrow if you would like. Her name is Hashi... It means Chopsticks." He paused again. "You do like dogs... don't you?"

Izzy was not the most social person, but as long as she was with someone she felt comfortable with she was fine. So as long as Taki and Jett were there and Lia too. So for Izzy at this moment she did not mind having more people there. Although the idea of sitting on the beach next to Taki and talking was very interesting too.
"You buy the cotton candy and I will get the funnel cake. Two musts, always. I am not sure I will sleep tonight after all this sugar, but it will so be worth it." She said giving Taki a smile. "I am glad you moved here." She told him softly with a small blush. Sure Izzy had boyfriends and her fair share of crushes, but usually the boyfriends liked her more then she liked them and her crushes never returned the crush. This was the first time she felt they both liked each other and her crush was returned. Now Izzy was unsure if they were exclusive. She knew how high school could be but she hoped.
"I have a car, if you o not want to use your scooter, but I am fine with either. I kind of like the idea of a scooter." Izzy was not sure how Taki would feel about being driven around by a female. "ever had Korean food. I know this good Korean restaurant." it was the closet thing she actually had to being in Korea itself. She basically grew up in America and really had no contact with her Korean roots. "I am very excited about going out with you."

"Dogs? I love dogs. I have never had any pets, although I would like them, but my mother does not allow them." Even if she is never home, but Izzy left that part out. Taki did not need to hear the sob story of her life.
(OOC: this paragraph should appear before the tag, sorry I pressed post, before I was actually done.)

"A car... or my scooter... I really don't mind. How about we see what the weather is like and if it's raining we use your car. If not, then we can go by scooter." It sounded a good plan to him and as the weather seemed very changeable and unpredictable around here then having back-up transport seemed sensible to him.
"And I am also glad I moved here, Izzy-chan," he declared on a laugh and his hold on her hand tightened as he spoke.
They went on to discuss the merits of Korean cooking, with Takumi stating he really liked their food. They settled on the restaurant Izzy knew of and with plans to go out for dinner later that week.
He couldn't wait. If she was excited then he was tenfold.
"I will introduce you to Hashi tomorrow after school," he promised. "I'm not sure what type of dog she is in English...aaah shikoku inu. Little short legs.. long body... like tsukune... a sausage. She has golden hair." He lifted his shoulders in apology. "I am sure you will know what kind she is when you meet her!"
They wandered towards the booth where Taki bought a stick of cotton candy to share. There was no way he would be able to eat a whole one to himself as it was a little sweet for him. Besides, sharing was way more fun... right?
Definitely.
