“Dude, she's trouble. That's what everyone at Gould says.”
“She hangs out with Tyler Durnham. What more do you need to know?”
“I saw her just this morning with Jayson Michaels. They were talking, but she got really close to him. I think they might be...”
Nolan was sick of hearing everyone's opinions. Part of him kinda wished he had heard of Sloane's reputation before meeting her. He probably never would have approached her in the first place. But is that what he really wanted? And so what if she was friends with Tyler or had a reputation. She was nice, Nolan knew that. He had seen it! He definitely did not regret talking to her, even if it got him shot in the butt.
Still, Nolan hadn't heard a word from Sloane since Bree's party, and it was starting to worry him. He didn't want to seem possessive or anything, but she hadn't even returned his call from few days ago. He debated in his mind whether he should text her again as he walked into his first class. He had been hoping he'd just run into her, but sadly he had no such luck.
The teacher wasn't in the room yet, and that was all the sign Nolan needed. He whipped out his cell phone and sent a quick text to the she-demon that had possessed his thoughts.
“Lunch today? I'd like to see you.”
That harrowing decision put behind him, Nolan slid the phone back into his pocket and sat back in his chair. Now he just had to wait. He glanced around the room, hoping to find some sort of distraction to take his mind off of Sloane.

After having left Jayson and gone straight to her first class for the day, Sloane did not realise that her phone had buzzed three times to indicate she had a message. She went through the first two periods being bored to death and wondering exactly where her boy toy was.
She almost fell asleep in class several times and got caught on two occasions before she was given a warning. Classes were just way too boring to be given a damn and Sloane could not wait until school was over.
Although, having Jayson Michaels asking her for help intrigued her. What did he want her help for? Stripper pointers? Where to get the loosest women in town? She had to admit, having interacted with Jay, whose sister probably hated her as much as any other girl who was just not as...open as Sloane was, would probably be the highlight of her day. If Nolan or some other guy or girl - she was just not picky at the moment - did not hit on her asap. She hadn't even seen Tyler. It was really bumming her out big time.
As she was leaving for her third lesson for the day, the vibration in her bag alerted her of the message and she reached into her bag for her phone. Stopping in the middle of the crowded hall way was probably not a good thing to do especially when the reason you have stopped was to answer your precious phone call or reply to a highly anticipated text message. Sloane was pushed and shoved every other direction but she managed to read the message and the smile on her face was threatening to practically burst on her face.
Nolan would like to see her. So he finally decided she was worth his time after all. The make out session at Bree's party filled her mind and she shook her head in amusement. Why was she getting hyped up over a silly boy? She ran her fingers through her hair before straightening her leather jacket over her white plain t-shirt. She was even dressed decently.
Lunch was going to be spectacularly eventful.
