Ashton blushed slightly as he was told not to stare, he was a teenager after all and he had needs like every body else, the girl had a see through skirt what else could be said except for ops, and that really wasn't his fault, the girl was hot their was no debating that in his mind.

There was some chemistry between the pair which could only mean that they were probably on the cusp of asking each other out on the date, though the sexy southen accent almost gave him goose bumps she was a a little on the young side and most definitely marked by a team mate.

He didn't really care anyway, it was not like he could do a lot of things with someone in the few short months he had left at Silver.

"Not to sound like an ass but what exactly are you going to do, You can't walk around with a towel around you all day, the principle may be liberal with the clothing rules but I'm pretty sure they would ask why." Ashton said to Hannah. "Ashton Johnson by the way." he introduced himself.

Gage was reeling back from the kiss, even though it was an innocent peck on the cheek. Blushing something furious, Gage smiled goofily before running his hand through his hair. "Ah it's nothing. I uh...it's uh...nothing. Yeah. It's nothing." He started mumbling.

He stepped back and turned when Ashton started to talk. For a moment there, he had completely forgotten that his captain was in there. Surprisingly, he thought that if Ashton hadn't been there, Gage would have been completely gutted and would have just stood in front of Hannah acting like the idiot he was.

As it was, when Ashton introduced himself and asked him about what she was going to do, Gage stepped back even further so the girl and his captain could talk. He was clearly going to be ignored since, come on...it was Ashton Johnson. Girls swooned and would gladly drop anything they were doing if he asked. He probably didn't stand a chance with Hannah anyway. What was he thinking? Yesterday with Hannah had probably been a fluke. She hadn't met with Ashton before today so she probably didn't know she had much of a choice yesterday when she gave him her number.

Oh well, it was just Gage's luck. He never had a girlfriend nor had he been on dates except maybe with his mom. He didn't know a thing about being out with a girl. Especially not with someone as pretty as Hannah.

There was something about Gage's smile that Hannah really liked. It wasn't the most handsome smile, but there was a certain honesty to it that made her smile in return. “It's not just nothing, thank you very much.” She wanted to flirt with him more, but there were no new tricks she could think of. Writing on his palm was her best move to date. “I hope you didn't wash your hand,” she teased, though she really did hope he had kept her number.

Turning to Ashton as he spoke, Hannah couldn't help but get a little excited that the captain of the team was speaking directly to her. “I appreciate your concern, but I got an extra set of clothes in the locker room. Lucky me I like to be prepared!” Keeping on hand on the towel just in case, she extended her other to Ashton. “I know you, silly!” she flirted, really enjoying the attention of two boys. “I'm Hannah, Hannah Bell. Pleased to make your acquaintance.” She looked back and forth between the two boys. Gage seemed to have shrunk into the background a bit. He must be very aware of the social food chain, giving his captain space like that. Hannah was disappointed, and she made a special point to keep eye contact with him for a little bit longer than with Ashton.

“Well if you gentlemen will excuse me, I have to get changed before class.” She turned to leave, but not before giving Gage one long look. Girls with more experience flirting could get a boy to follow them with just a glance. Hannah, however, barely managed to make eye contact with Gage and did not feel she was successful. Whether he followed or not, though, she walked out of the gym.

Ashton smiled, "Have fun Hannah." he said to her with a smile as he watced the girl leave the gym, he was left wondering why she had taken this detour, figuring it had to do with the lad he had been playing basketball with. Gage sounded like a nice guy, he had to wonder if this was the future of his team in front of him, whether when he left this was one of the boys that would be in contention to replace him as captain.

When did school become about thinking about who would take over when he left the school for the last time in a few months... it was moving more and more to the future that was getting ever closer, than being about having fun. He was determined to get past the fact that his exams were getting closer and the final games were getting ever closer, the time to lock his way in to college scholarship was almost there.

He realized for the first time, that no matter how much he liked the idea of leaving school behind and his father, that for some reason it terrified him massively.

"You need to ask that girl out Gage." Ashton said to him knowing it would probably embarrass the boy but he thoughtthat it needed to be said. "The good ones are never single for very long." he added.

Gage wanted to follow Hannah oh so badly but what good would it do? Ashton was going to pick up on that and he would never hear the end of it. As much as Gage was a riot to be around, he was a personal person. He always kept his feelings to himself and in this instance, it meant he needed to do that double time. Especially if he wanted to climb the social ladder. It didn't do to get a Gould cheerleader as a girlfriend. Felt too much like a betrayal.

But when Ashton told him to ask her out, Gage was thrown for a loop. Did that mean it was okay? "But she's a Gould cheerleader. She cheers for our opposing team." Gage stated. "You think that's a good idea for me to ask her out?" He wanted to, of course he did. Hannah was pretty. And she was really sweet. Maybe he should talk to his best friend about this.

The bell rang then and Gage was startled. "I have to get to class. Um...I'll see you later." With that, his confusing thoughts had to be put in the backburner for awhile. Maybe talking to Gen at lunch would help clear his mind up a bit. He texted her and hoped she got it in time.
