Giving up (Skye, Open Tags)

Ana did not recall anyone calling Skye stupid. She heard people talking about a text not getting to Nate's phone. Now Ana did not know Nate so she did not know if he was lying about not getting the text. Ana decided to stay out of it. She did not want to be a target of Skye's verbal rant. However, Ana did speak up when Skye said something about Nero letting her down. She did not even care that Skye said it was not Nero's fault. "But Nero did not let you down...he had been good friend." Ana said. However, she left with Nero after he told Skye he was going to go. So Ana followed him.

Ana smiled when Nero whispered. She spoke as they walked off "You okay?" Ana asked in reference not only to what happened, but what Skye just said about Nero letting her down, but it not being his fault. She took his hand in hers and squeezed it. "You a very good friend to people. Hope you know that." She said with a smile.

"You can begin by giving me nother kiss." Ana smiled as she kissed Nero. "I can think of other ways for you to make up me.......that did not sound right." Ana said to him as she laughed. She still needed help with her English. Ana sighed as he once again suggested getting the kids, "you very persistant." She smiled. "Okay. You twist my arm. Besides Lena would love to see you." Ana said with a wink.

Then Ana's face went serious for a moment, "Are we okay? I did not mean to get mad, but the close moment I saw with her head on shoulder." Ana pointed to the shoulder Skye laid her head on, "It made me angry.....jealous." Ana figured she should tell Nero her feelings. She did not want to hide them and pretend the close moment had not made her jealous in some way. "Just thought I should tell truth about feelings.....we okay...." She said again softly.

[Nate Kane]

Nate caught the phone as it flew at him and he looked at it and saw the text. He then tossed the phone back. Nate walked over to Skye and dropped his voice, "I never let you down. I got fucking sober because you helped me realise some thing about myself. I never let you down. I have been your friend and protected you. I never lied to you. So I am going to tell you once more. I never got you TEXT." Nate told her emphasizing the word text.

Nate pulled his phone out of his pocket. He threw it threw the door to where skyels bag was. Nate looked at Skye. "There. You have my phone. Be my guest and go through it. Look at every single text. You can even look in my deleted files, but you will find no text....." Nate was damn sure of that. He knew damn well what was on his phone. "You can return it to me tomorrow." He told Skye.

Nate hated that Skye had to go home to that bastard, "If anything happens. Call Trixie's phone. I mean it." Nate told Skye. He eyed her once more before turning and walking to his car. Damn he had no cell phone anymore. Oh well. Its not like he needed it. He would just get it back once she realized he never got the text.
