"Yes, well when the cops bring you home, I don't think anyone else can take the blame for that," Roxy laughed, going quiet when Ezzie went on. She couldn't possibly understand what her friend was going through, but she wanted to be there for her never-the-less. Roxy still wasn't sure what she could possibly do to console her friend but she was pretty sure that little things like going to the beach with her now were a big help.

Roxy pulled her friend into a hug as she went on about having her own room. "Hey...I'm totally on lock down right now but if I can sneak out it also means I can sneak you in. If you need somewhere to sleep of just someone else to share a room with, consider my room your new home," she said. Part of her thought it could be kind of fun...like one perpetual sleep over. She could even show Ezzie how she used the tree outside her window to climb over to Thad's room and the three of them could stay up late talking and watching movies or something. But she didn't say those things now, they didn't matter at the moment. What did matter was that Ezzie knew that she had a place to stay if she needed or wanted it. Roxy wouldn't be able to let her parents know about it...but Roxy could be very sleepy. She was sure she could make it work.

Roxy laughed when Ezzie mentioned about Fallon. "Yes, Fallon has a crush on me," she laughed. "I'm sure that's it." She giggled some more as that nagging thought popped into her head. She'd thought of it the other day when she and Thad had snuck out together and he'd wanted to go and try to meet girls. She hadn't thought of it much since...maybe just in passing... "Hey, so feel free to call me crazy...because I'm pretty sure I might be in even thinking this...but...you know how I like to piss off my parents...right...well I was thinking...of trying to find a girl to go out with me to make them mad...I don't think it would be serious though...I don't think I like girls like that...but...what do you think...am I crazy?" It felt weird admitting this...even to Ezzie whom she shared most things with...but if the girl needed a distraction...this certainly was one!

"Yeah...don't get grounded," Roxy said, shaking her head enthusiastically. Although she doubted her friend would considering the tragedy in her family. Really, Ezzie probably had a free pass to go whatever she wanted...be as reckless as she wanted...without getting in trouble... Hmmm...maybe they could have some fun with this.

"Not unless you have some really clueless parents who just do not get it." Ezzie said with a small laugh. She knew this depression would pass. Ezzie was not one to be depressed for very long, but this was different. It was one thing to get depressed when you had a fight with a family member, but when you lose one, especially someone that despite all your differences, you were very close too, then it's different. Out of all her siblings Ezzie considered her closest to Sierra. They had shared a room since the birth of her younger sister. So basically they had been roommates for years so to speak. Ezzie hated this feeling inside her. She felt no passion for dancing, make up or even wearing weird clothes. Thats why she needed the distraction.

"be careful what you offer, you just might have your self a roommate." Ezzie laughed. This was nice. Ezzie knew she would get that passion back, it just might take a few days. "I would love to spend the night. Maybe even freak Thad out if we both show up as his neighbors. I bet his step mom would hate it. ezzie shook her head when Roxy mentioned the whole dating a girl to freak out her parents. She could not help but smile, "Now thats a distraction. Estas loco." Ezzie told her in Spanish.

"However, given your mom. I say go for it. I am sure either I or Fal or maybe even Si, could you imagine if your mom thought you and Si were dating." Ezzie suggested. "Now that sounds like it would piss off a parent or two." ezzie could not help , but picture it. "Of course you don't like girls, but fun is fun. And this sounds like fun." Roxy did have some of the most creative ideas. It was very interesting, but thats why they were such good friends.

"But getting grounded if fun because then i have to play prison break." Ezzie told her friend. "and that sounds fun." She said with another smile. This was good. A nice distraction. it beat going to a memorial and having to hear it all over again that her sister was dead. Ezzie would probably cry later, but for now she just needed her friend.

"I wouldn't offer it if I minded," Roxy said about sharing her room. Ezzie was one of her best friends, along with Thad. She'd probably offer the same thing to Thad if it was ever needed. Roxy would do anything for her friends. After all, they helped keep her sane through her crazy life of audition after audition.

As Ezzie went on about Roxy's crazy idea, she couldn't help but smile. That's why she was friends with Ezzie. Instead of telling her she was completely insane, she was actually offering to help. "I thought of it the other day...my mom she won't admit it but she doesn't approve of the whole gay thing. She'll never say a thing about it but you should see the way she refers to the Cotton's because of it," Roxy said. "I mean I guess it doesn't help that I feed her lies to make it worse...it's just kind of amusing. Like I told her that Sidra does animal sacrifices in the basement and that their not allowed to be straight--well because she's convinced that Thad is gay because of the makeup," Roxy said shaking her head.

"So yeah...I mean...I don't know who I'd pretend with. I don't think she'd buy it if it was you--because she knows we're friends. And I'd feel weird asking Sidra or even Fallon...I guess I know Fallon a little better but still... I don't know..." she trailed off. She was kind of glad when Ezzie said with such certainty Roxy didn't like girls because since the idea had popped into head she'd sort of been questioning herself. She was fairly certain that she just liked boys but she was still young and just the fact that the idea had come to her confused her a little bit.

"I guess I'm always doing stuff to piss off my parents though...anything to rebel..." she kind of trailed off thinking about her last brilliant idea. She hadn't told Ezzie or Thad about it...about how she'd gone off and had sex with that random guy she'd met. She sort of regretted it which was why she felt like she couldn't tell anyone. After all...could Ezzie possibly understand? She had such a good relationship with her family...

"Yeah...well, breaking out if fun," Roxy agreed, "so if you do get grounded let me know...because I'm an expert at sneaking out," she said. "Anyway, what shall we do? Want to wander the pier? Maybe go on some rides? Or would you just like to stick to the beach. Anything you'd like my dear," she said playfully with a smile.
