Felipe laughed as they wandered on their way in search of their drinks. "No, they won't move. Honestly, its worse than this back in Sao Paolo but my welcome here couldn't have been better," he assured her. "Yes, today wasn't great but beside that I have met some wonderful people and I count myself lucky in that respect. Even people I encountered earlier in school... I might not otherwise had met them... Takumi... Bree... Fallon... and now you." He inclined his head slightly, left hand rising to rest across his chest in the region of his heart and with his fingers slightly splayed open. An unconscious action and one he seemed to use when trying to relay his sincerity. "Every action has an equal and corresponding reaction," he quoted. "For every sadness their is laughter. Every death is equalled by a new life. No, I have been more than lucky so far."
"As for my parents. My father is a dentist and came here to set up his own business. Life is hard in Brazil and its difficult to work for yourself without large ammount od money behind you." His parents were well enough of and even then the prospect of his own practice had forced Felipe's father across the border. "Your winery sounds fantastic," he continued. "I would love to see around it one day. And your mother must be an amazing woman."
They came to a halt outside a cafe and Felipe reached out to open its door, pinning it back to allow Rosalie the space to enter before him.
"Now... something bad for your health and totally indulgent... My treat... What would you like?"
(OOC heading off to France this afternoon for 2 weeks. Hopefully I can connect to the internet over there. Fingers crossed I can but it will be a couple of days :/)

The more he talked the more Rosalie liked him. She was getting along so well with him, and he was easy to hang out with. "That is good, you have to have that out look on life. You have to keep thinking that and not look at the bad. You have to look at the good, and not let the bad affect your out look on life. Sometimes it is hard for me I must admit, espically when I work with abused kids and abused women" she looked over at him. "I just want to save them all and you can't it can be a bit frustrating." She blushed as she realized she went on and on. "Sorry about that, I am passionate about my volunteer work and such" she admited.
"Your family sounds wonderful. And they are smart to go for their dreams, if you don't try you have regrets, and I want none of those when I die." She walked into the cafe after him and smiled at him over her shoulder. "Hhhhmm I am not a chick that counts calories" she grinned. "So double chocolate mocha with whip cream and chocolate shavings on it, and a chocolate chocolate chip muffin" she said. "If you pay I leave the tip then" she told him with a smile as they got in line.
She saw the crowd was not big which was good, not such a long wait. And they would not have to talk loudly to be heard by each other. "What are you going to get?" she asked him and glanced over at him. "I will take you on a tour soon, I am the only tour guide that can get you in restricted places or even a drink of it" she laughed. "My dad lets me have a glass for dinner, since it is just one glass only. I know some people don't love the taste of wine but I do" she admited as they waited for their turn to put their order in. "I will tell my mother you said that, she will love you for sure" she giggled and smiled at him.
(OOC: Have a good trip :-). Enjoy the vacation wish I was there lol)
