Takumi sat back down, eyes locked on those of the sadistic cop. The man looked away first and for that the youth felt a deep satisfaction. As promised, though, a medic soon arrived to check Jandro over and with him came news of Saint. It wasn't great news but it could have been a hell of a lot worse and Takumi saw some of Jandro's misery lift when he heard he was alive. It made foregoing the pleasure of reporting that cop a lot easier to take as Jandro should rest a little easier now.
He pushed himself back to his feet, restless and impatient to leave and he wandered over to Sidra, nodding a greeting to the other girl who he didn't know.
"I didn't see anything of otouto-san... Is he ok? Have you heard from him?"
He dropped down in between her and the other girl, adding to the latter. "I'm Takumi... What did you do to end up in here?" She looked like she wouldn't hold back if threatened so perhaps she was fighting... Whatever the reason he prayed someone would soon arrive to question them so that he could clear up the misunderstanding about him belonging to this other gang. Only then could he check on his friends in person.

Jandro's spirits did lift upon the news that Saint was still alive and seemed to be doing well for the most part. He smiled but he didn't speak, far too intimidated by the guard who had already smacked him around once. He wished the principal would come if that was who they were waiting on. The uncertainty was beginning to prey on his mind.
Jandro was normally quite non-violent so he had never expected to be in this position. He didn't regret protecting his brother and sister though and he would go to jail a hundred times to keep them safe. That didn't mean he wasn't frightened. He had heard too many horror stories about jail and he was small.... He would have no way to protect himself.

Just as Takumi posed his question to Sidra an announcement could be heard over the main intercomm system. Well, sort of announcement anyway. Takumi tiltedhis head slightly as he listened to the accented voice... "Thad. This is a message for Thad. Your sister needs you. She's in the main reception area. Come quickly." Thad? He shot Sidra a terse glance. The sister in need could onlybe Fallon as his other one was right here and far from reception. Was something wrong with her? He could see the same - and more - questions flitting through Sidra's head. There was only one way to find out... One of them had to leave and as she was still bound that left him to be the only option. No, not a reckless and insane break for freedom. THat would be outright stupid and Yoshino Takumi was far from that. The only possible way out was to make the cops realise he had nothing to do with this gang... and the arrival of the head sensei was surelythe start of that process. Taki knew his school records would show he'd only just arrived in the US... today being only his 2nd one at the school. Not enough time for anyone to enlist in a gang. Besides, Jandro had pointed out that he wasn't wearing their 'colours'... whatever those chanced to be. He got to his feet and crossed the lounge to position himself before the more friendly of the two cops. "I wish to speak to the Principal," he stated. "I am here by mistake and have done nothing wriong. I must go and check on my friends..." He looked back at Jandro and Sidra as he spoke, having been furninshed with the former's sister's contact number. THere were far too many people he had to look for.
"I'll see what I can do," the cop replied and he followed after the Principal who had entered into his office.
"Jessica... right?" he said. "Is there anyone you want me to find?" He half grinned. "Assuming, of course, I am soon to be allowed to leave."
It didn't hurt to hope... right?
