"You could always double major, or pick one as yur major and one as a minor." Sarissa suggested. "Actually I think christophe is more Marine Biology. He is still working at the aquarium. He likes working with animals and he loves the water. So it seems like a good fit. But for me, I enjoy cultural anthropology. It's facinating and this is my first semester." Sari said. "You have time to figure it out. Who knows I may end up changing my mind too. You never know."
Sari and Felipe continued to walk while eating their ice cream, "Did you ever move onto campus or do you still live at home?" Although Sari lived on campus she kept in contact with her family. Sure she might not visit them or keep in contact with the whole family, but she did keep in contact with Seth and Serena who knew pretty much everything that was going on. Of course she felt Seth and Serena were being a little bit slow in their decisions for the future. Neither had gone to college, but that was not Sari's issue.
"Any plans for the future yet or you taking it one day at a time?" She wondered. "My plans are to do some traveling when I can. Probably take a vacation for mid winter break from school. Go visit other cultures and explore other parts beyond native american culture." Even if that would be her specialty.

A double major... Now there was a thought. Felipe started to consider that idea immediately, liking the thought. That way he could still choose what career to go for once he finished at college. It was perfect!
"I live at home," he told Sarissa. "It's not far to drive and I don't really know anyone else at college. Well, other than you, of course, but our classes never cross so..." He had yet to even see her at the campus, in fact! "But most definitely one day at a time," he continued. "In the spring I would like to go back to Sao Paolo for the Easter break. I want to catch up with my old friends. I mean, there's only so much contact you can keep over Facebook and in texts!"
He listened to Sarissa's plans. "Travelling would be good I have to agree. I would really like to go around Europe one day..." The thought of doing that alone, though, held an appeal that ranked somewhere between zero and nil.
They chatted amicably for the better part of the next hour, at the end of which Felipe glanced at his watch. He threw Sari a wry glance. "If I don't go now there will be no supper left," he said with a reluctant tone to his voice. "If the plans change for tomorrow..."
"They won't."
"If they do just let me know ok?"
(tag for a wrap?)
