Izzy and Taki had met after school and gone to the store for snacks and then to the video store. It had taken about an half an hour before they finally left the music store and headed to Taki's place. Where the two settled for dinner. Izzy ended up talking with Takiumi's mom and helping to prepare dinner. It was not so hard. His mom was giving good dinner tips.
Dinner had been great. It was fun and Taki's sister and Izzy had kept gaining up on Taki and making fun of him. After dinner Izzy helped with the dishes. Once she was done Taki's mother told her to go have fun. Izzy found Taki and sat next to him, "Movie Marathon time? Your mom and I had a good conversation. She told me some interesting stories about you."
Izzy laughed and pulled out the snacks and a bowl of popcorn. "No matter how much dinner one has I can always eat popcorn too. Lets watch one of the movies you picked first." Izzy settled next to Taki. The door was closed and now it was just the two of them. Izzy loved Taki's family, but it just being the two of them was so nice right now. A nice night in sounded perfect for Izzy.

"I'm not sure I can manage even just one piece!" he admitted on a laugh. Maybe later... No, definitely later! He rummaged for the four boxes they'd chosen and humm'd and hah'd a couple of times as he thought over which one of his selections to slip into the player first. The Last Airbender. A fantasy themed movie about Avatar Aang, master of the elements. It wouldn't be frightening and hopefully they would both enjoy the tale.
He pressed start...
A female character - Katara - began to narrate...

I still believe that somehow the Avatar will return to save the world.'...

"This looks great!" Takumi enthused with a grin as he settled down alongside Izzy where she sprawled on her stomach on his bed, the popcorn bowl within easy reach. Atmospheric and tense... and this was just the opening sequence!
Takumi inched closer to Izzy and slipped one arm around her. Their marathon was already going well!

Izzy settled against Taki as he wrapped his arm around her. She was eating popcorn and watching. She had heard of Avatar:The Last Airbender, but obviously she had never seen it. She just knew it was an animated series that had been brought to America. Izzy snuggled closer to Taki feeling the heat of his body. It was comforting. She realized just how safe she felt in his arms like this. It was nice and they had more movies to go to soend the evening like this.
Izzy turned slightly so she was half on her back as she looked up at Taki. "So he bends air and now has to learn the other elements to beat the bad guy?" She asked as the movie continued on. She waited fro Taki to confirm."Interesting. I take it this is a series, not one movie explains it all." She wondered. "Cause we might need to find the rest of the series. I like it." She giggled.
Izzy picked up a piece of chocolate. "And your reward for picking an awesome movie." Although any movie Taki picked would have been awesome. Izzy put the piece of chocolate halfway in her mouth and then reached up to wrap one hand around the back of Taki's head rubbing his neck. She brought his lips down to share the chocolate with him in a nice, warm, passionate kiss.

“There is a series... anime,” he told Izzy. “But not for the film. This is the whole story. The anime just told of other adventures.” It was hard to explain... and any thoughts of trying to clarify were instantly forgotten when Izzy leaned over for her chocolatey kiss.
It was... delicious!
On the screen - now also forgotten - Avatar Aang, elemental master, continued his battle against evil.
The kissing duo could always press ‘rewind’...

The end credits started to roll and the theme tune caught Takumi’s attention. He lifted his face away from Izzy’s a little and grinned down at her. “We have missed it,” he declared but there was no way he was complaining as their kisses had been warm and left his stomach tingling. Takumi knew this would go no further than it had gone so far and he’d promised to be patient. The problem was it was starting to get more difficult to keep that promise! He would, though. The alternative wasn’t an option he would even contemplate for a fleeting second!
“Would you like a hot drink before we watch another film?”he asked. The time it took him to make the drink would allow Takumi to get a grip - so’s to speak - on his raging hormones!

"Thats the good thing about renting a video. You can rewatch it if you miss it. I guess I got carried away." She chuckled. Izzy had only meant to kiss with the chocolate but things had quickly gotten heated beyond that. Now she was feeling all fuzzy inside and her heart was pounding. She had gotten carried away. "Um..yes, yeah something to drink would be good." She said trying to bring her mind back into focus, but it was not working.
"I will set up the film." Izzy looked up at Taki for a momentbefore rolling off the bed. Her mind was buzzing and her heart was poounding as she smoothed out her hair and searched through the DVD's while Taki went to get some teaor something to drink. She had finally said I love you and now Izzy was thinking it was time. But was this the right day? Should it be more romantic. She just put in a DVD without looking at it.
When Taki returned Izzy pressedplay and smiled. "Ready for movie number two?" She asked this timesitting on the floor with her back against the bed as she patted the floor next to her. "Come, sit." She said smiling. Just looking at him as he carried their drinks. The smile on his handsome face. Yes Izzy knew the answer. If he asked she would say yes or she may just have to tell him she was ready.

It didn’t take Takumi long to make a pot of sencha green tea. He carried the tray back to his bedroom and set it down alongside Izzy where she sat on the floor. Perhaps that was a wise move as the bed where they’d been before was far too... inviting!
“Number two... of course!” he replied, dropping down next to her. He leaned over Izzy’s legs to pour two cups of tea, passing one to her with a slight dip of his head. Old habits were hard to lose, it seems! Takumi had also brought a dish of mochi... Japanese sweets made from rice flour. Izzy had eaten them before and so he knew she liked them.
He balanced the dish on his left thigh and then sipped some of his tea.
“What is the next film?” he asked. “This one was Izzy’s selection and she hadn’t let him see her DVDs at the rental store, wanting to keep them as a surprise!

Izzy had rented Star Wars and Indiana Jones, but those were for her brother. Tonight she rented two DVD's. One was one she had seen, but had not watched in a long, long time and she had feeling Taki would like it for obvious reasons. "Just wait and see." She smiled as she sipped her tea. Izzy leaned against him. "I hope you like my choice."
She watched as the screen moved from black and the opening started. Which gave nothing away for a few tense moments. She could see the wheels turning in Taki's mind wondering what she had picked until it was finally reveals. It was Spirited Away. Izzy had seen this film and she liked it. She hoped Taki did too. "Surprise. You like my choice?"
If Taki had not seen it, then he would see it now. She leaned up to kiss him once more. "Thank you." She said honestly. "I am blessed to have you as my boyfriend." She told him. "I wanted to tell you something." The movie was just starting so nothing happened yet. "I am ready. When you are. I am ready. I love you. And I want to go to that next step with you."
Izzy waited for his reaction. Perhaps she should have paused the movie, or waited. But Izzy had finally decided to take the plunge. Take that next step. She was tired of being scared and she had nothing to fear from Taki.

Takumi hadn't a clue what the film was about, not having heard of it before but if Izzy had chosen it then he was sure to love it! "Very surprised," he said in return and he settled down to enjoy the film... or so he'd believed. Yet again it would seem the bulk of what was before them on the television screen would pass unnoticed!
He turned to look at Izzy when she told him how she felt... and what she wanted.
"The next step?"
She wanted to get engaged?
His eyes widened..... and then it hit him with the force equivalent to that of a sledgehammer between his eyes. She hadn't mean an engagement but...
Takumi swallowed. "You want to... ah... watashi to issho ni neru... I mean... I know we have *slept* together before but then we actually slept. Do you mean you want to make love?" There was no room for error... Not knowing how Izzy felt about that final step. They'd been close to it before but Takumi had promised he wouldn't do anything further until she was ready.
And now she was...!
He swallowed again.
"I, too, am more than ready," he finally was able to say. His parents already assumed they were sleeping together and so wouldn't find it strange that Izzy spent the night in his room... and so what if Mayuki teased him relentlessly in the morning? He honestly didn't care!

Izzy felt nervous. Sometimes her mouth had a life of its own. They barely watched the first movie. This one was just back ground noise. She highly doubted they would get to the others now. Then again there was always tomorrow. Rentals lastedone week, so if not today then tomorrow or the next day. Izzy could not take back what she had said. She was ready and she was glad she finally said it.
Izzy finished her tea. "I have been thinking about this for a while and I feel safe with you. I know you wont hurt me." She said softly. "I love you so much." They had started daign back in february. Izzy had enver imagined that eight months later she would find herself in love. "Yes. I want to make love with you." She clarified. Izzy stood up. The movie was unnoticed of course, she had no idea what was going on.
She held out her hand. "Care to join me on the bed?" Izzy asked smiling. Suprisingly she felt rather calm now. Not so much nervous. She felt good. Her stomach was tingling but her hands were steady. Izzy waswearing jean shorts, a tshirt, and shoes. She kicked off her shoes as she entered the house."Would it be okay if I stayed the night?" She still felt the need to ask. She had no idea if she would have to leave after...or if she could stay.

Takumi was only too happy to throw himself down onto the bed alongside Izzy and his bare feet dnagled over the end of the mattress. "Of course you can stay," he replied. "It might be an idea to let Jett know you won't be back... although I am sure that will leave you wide open to endless torment and teasing!"
He trailed his fingers lightly up Izzy's leg as he spoke, slipping them beneath the lower hem of her t-shirt. He felt her shiver when he touched her skin. Of course, they'd made out before this but then they'd always known it would end before it reached the sort of a conclusion that now lay ahead. It was exciting beyond belief... More so as this would be Takumi's forst time going all the way. First time with any girl. He chewed at his lower lip as
he fought to contain the thrill he felt flooding through him. This had to be done slowly - and for more reasons than one!
He inched up the bed a little further until his face was level with hers. Takumi's hand had remained in conmtact with Izzy's body, lifting higher also. He heard her breath catch when his fingers brushed the rounded mound of her breast.
Slowly?
Who was he fooling?
He would never be able to hold himself back!
