Her fight with Wynn wasn't concluded and Lexi felt a bit pissed both at herself and her boyfriend. At Wynn for being not understanding her need to keep her friends close and calling her obsessed. At herself for being idiotic and knowing that Wynn was right for calling her that. But she was human. She didn't need anybody else pointing out her flaws. Especially not her boyfriend. Damn it, he was her first boyfriend and she royally screwed things up.
The school bell rang and she trudged out of class, hoping she wouldn't find Wynn at his locker. What she had thought was amazingly awesome, having her boyfriend's locker just a few doors down, was now really damn inconvenient. Despite having books in her hand, she decided not to visit her locker to drop them off.
Exiting the school, she went straight to the bus stop. So deep was she in her thoughts that she didn't look where she was going. That is, until her books went flying out of her hands and she fell flat on her back, covering her face from her falling books. "Holy crap!" She exclaimed when one of the books hit the top of her head and another got her stomach.

"ZOH MY GOAWD!" Sophie exclaimed as she ran toward the brunette. She had just witnessed the poor thing fall and furthermore were those books falling on her head?! It did not look like a good fall and as the witness to it, Sophie decided it was her responsibility to help.
Sophie's long curly hair was down and flew behind her as she ran the few feet between herself at the faller. She was dressed in a pair of black cut off shorts which she'd layered over bright blue tights with charcoal gray socks over those that came just over her knees. Her shoes were a pair of beat up laced up boots and her shirt was also black with the numbers of pi scrolled across it followed by a ... at the end and a purple and blue plaid shirt with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. Needless to say, she stood out in a crowd, not that there was really a crowd headed toward the bus.
Sophie hadn't been planning on taking the bus. She had to of course stick around the area until the game that evening. Sophie of course couldn't stand football but she knew her brother appreciated her coming to see him play so she attended ever single game anyway. She wasn't sure where she'd been heading but she'd figured that there had to be something to do for a few hours before the game started.
But of course now, she had been completely distracted by the faller. Reaching the girl, she picked the book up off her stomach and held out her hand (one finger baring a half sucked down grape ring pop on it) as she offered her help. "Are you okay?" she asked as the other girl took her hand and Sophie helped pull her up off the concrete. "That was some fall..." she said, stating the obvious.

Batting away the book that had fallen on her head, Lexi looked up at her 'savior' and her eyes traveled down to the hand that was offered and found a candy ring, something Lexi hadn't seen in a long time. "They still sell these?" Lexi asked before taking the offered hand and pushing up so she could sit. Her head spun and she immediately closed her eyes. "Mother of everything wicked." She mumbled as she took deep breaths in aiding her spinning headache.
The blonde's statement made Lexi cringe. Looking up, she gave a weak grin. "The ground is pumping it's fist in victory for having executed such a perfect fall on a human being." She said while picking up her books. Lexi took her time in getting up and when she did, she had to hold on to the seemingly younger girl for a little while before Lexi could finally look up with a smile.
"I thank you noble lady for your chivalry." Lexi started. "Apparently these people are incapable of having a soul. Yeah I mean you Polaski." She narrowed her eyes at an unsuspecting sophomore who raised an eyebrow before walking off. "I'm Lexi, resident klutz at your service. I don't know you. Or I do but the book hit me too hard so now I have amnesia...are you my sister? You could very well be my sister." She rambled on, hardly thinking about the fact that the girl was very blond and had blue eyes. And looked nothing like her.
She offered her own hand to the other girl to shake. "If you're new blink twice."

"Yep! I have a bag in my locker. Find me in school and I'll give you one. I have candy necklaces too. I think candy jewelry is so smart, I mean its fashionable and you can eat it! Well, I think its fashionable. I think some people beg to differ though," she said, more talking to herself as she thought about some brunette who had made fun of her earlier. She actually looked kind of like this girl although this girl was really nice, either that or she was the same girl only she'd hit her head hard enough that she was nice now, kind of like the episode of The Office where Dwight gets a concussion and is suddenly really nice but then when it gets fixed her turns back to himself.
She couldn't help but laugh at the girl's assessment of the ground as she helped her up. "I like that. It sounds like it should be written down or something, you know like poetic, even if it did come from massive amounts of pain," she said, letting go of her hands once she was steadied.
She couldn't help but laugh at the other things the girl said, calling her a lady with chivalry. She wasn't laughing in a mean way, she thought the brunette was genuinely entertaining. "Wow, I like the sound of that. It makes me feel like an Arthurian Legend or something," she commented watching as the boy name Polaski was quickly shewed away.
Sophie smiled, "Well its nice to meet you Lady Lexi the klutz," she said with a grin, lightheartedly using the same words Lexi had. "I'm Sophie...Lady Sophie...the brave...no gallant," she said, "although maybe that makes me sound all snobby. Maybe I'll just stick with Lady Sophie," she smiled. "Sorry, I talk to much sometimes. Does your sister talk to much, because then maybe I could be her with amnesia, but last I checked I only have a brother," she reasoned.
She made a show of blinking twice before confirming her question verbally, "Yes, I'm new," she said.

"Wicked." Lexi stated simply when the girl mentioned she had a bag full of the candy. "I'll be sure to get them from you when I have the craving." The dark haired girl nodded, getting kind of childishly excited. It was the best news she'd had all week. She was allowed a moment of happiness.
"Oh, don't you know? Poetry usually comes from great pain. How'd you think Shakespeare wrote those sonnets and stuff? He had just been dumped by his girlfriend. Or boyfriend if you actually realise that most of his work is pretty uh...you know, it's kind of um...gay." Lexi gave out an awkward chuckle. She wasn't even sure if it was just her butchering the world's most renowned writer or if it was actually true but Lexi really thought that some of Shakespeare's sonnets revolved around guys. Or just A guy.
Lexi laughed at Sophie's name for her. "With this book I shall female version of knight thee, Lady Sophie the chivalrous." Lexi did the whole knighting thing with one of her books before curtsying. It was way silly and there were whispers but Lexi couldn't care. Now now. She was actually having fun. The most fun she'd had in days.
"Eh, my sister can't shut up. All she does is taunt people and call them names and pick out their flaws. She's ghastly." Lexi shuddered. Pippa had her redeeming qualities...wait, did she though? Well, she does seem to think that whatever comment she gave Lexi was only because she was looking out for her twin sister.
Lexi held back her laughter when Sophie blinked twice. But she didn't hold it in too long. "That was hilarious." Lexi giggled. "Hey, are you going to the game?"

Lexi made Sophie feel like a little kid, which Sophie very much enjoyed even if other people thought they were dorks. Sophie wasn't one to usually care. Sure, she like everyone had her moments were she got embarrassed or didn't want certain people to think certain things about her, but for the most part she usually could be oblivious to those feelings and just be her nerdy, childish self.
"Really?" she asked when Lexi informed her that Shakespeare was gay. "Didn't know that. The stuff I've read has only been in like English classes," she explained, "I like the stories but I can't really decipher the language on my own at all - its probably like sac-religious to all those people really into English and all that, but I'd rather read the cliff notes version," she said with a shrug. If Shakespeare was a genius, his language hadn't helped him as far as Sophie was concerned. Okay, to be fair that's just how people talked back then but people didn't talk like that anymore and to Sophie is was all very confusing and confusion led to being really bored.
"Sweet! I always wanted to be a knight, like the round table and all that," she grinned. "Although those are other stories that the original language of it all is crazy bones," she said shaking her head. If Sophie was going to read something for herself rather than just listen to the story she needed a language that was straight forward that she could understand and didn't have to think about it for 5 minutes after she read each sentence.
"Does your sister look a lot like you?" Sophie asked tilting her head sideways. She lifted her hand to her mouth and sucked on her ring pop for a moment. "Cause earlier this girl that looked a lot like you told me that the elementary school was down the street," Sophie said, "I was going to ask her if they had a playground but she walked away before I could," she said with a shrug. "She wasn't very enthusiastic about my jewelry," she said wiggling her fingers to show off her candy ring before taking another lick.
"Yep!" she said about the game, "You going? My brother's on the team so I kind of have to go," she said, "oh and my dad's the coach but I care less about that even though I'm sure he'd be all disappointed if I didn't show up too," she told her. "It's so boring though," she commented, "but of well, I have a bit of time to find something fun to do before then," she said with another shrug. "Anything good to do around here? I was just going to wander about, but any insider tips would be great!"

"Don't take my word for it though. I mean that's just my opinion not what it actually is." Lexi chuckled. "Oh I've got amazing cliff notes for a lot of the books in my English class. They worked wonders. I scored like an average B plus all semester." The dark haired senior enthused. It was actually quite true. Though she did read the majority of the books and understood them at least to a certain degree, the cliff notes did come in handy!
The girl was hilarious! Lexi's rib was aching from laughing too much. She needed that especially after the day, well week really, that she had had. Sophie was kind of how Lexi was before everything with Mew and Bree went down. Things had been simple. And to think, that had only been a few months back!
At the mention of her sister, Lexi sighed exasperatedly and nodded. "Unfortunately that comes with the territory of being twins. And that does sound like her...she's a troll I tell you." Lexi shook her head in mock embarrassment. She just hoped Sophie wouldn't judge her by her sister!
"Eh, no way. I usually avoid those things." Lexi shrugged. "Mostly because my sister is on the cheer squad." She shuddered. "For the life of me I do not understand why she likes those spanky pants that ride up her butt and jumping and twirling in mid air..."
"Fun? There's an amusement park around here but it would completely distract you from the game though so I dunno if you wanna do that."

Sophie scrunched up her face when she confirmed that the evil twin was actually an evil twin. "That sucks." Sophie said, "I mean my brother might be obsessed with football but he's totally not one of those guys whose all arrogant or mean because of it.
"Yeah, I'd avoid them if I could but I can't," Sophie agreed about football, giggling when Lexi called part of their uniforms spanky pants. Sophie had no idea what the real name was and maybe they were called spanky pants for all she knew, but either way it was such a funny name. As he laughter calmed down she shook her head, "Spanky pants, that's hilarious," she said still chuckling a little.
She gaped at the brunette after her next set of words. "Amusement park! This close to school! That's awesome!!" She glanced down at her plastic cartoon watch she'd gotten at Burger King a few years back and still wore (rather proudly too), "I don't think I'd have even close to enough time. At this rate I probably only have time to grab something to eat and then head back," she said with a shrug.
She knew her mother would be waiting on the bleachers before the game even started and Sophie was to join her as always to watch the game. "I should probably do that quick too," Sophie said, "So I'm off I suppose - you're okay, unscathed from the books?" she asked, "That is unless you fancy joining me," she offered. Lexi seemed like a lot of fun. "Otherwise, I bid you farewell Lady Lexi the klutz," she said with a big grin on her face, still finding the whole Lady thing and speaking as if she lived in Medieval times even if they were probably butchering the language horribly.
