Jamie had decided a day out is what she needed. Jamie quickly typed a text to grayson. "Outside you should join. XO-Jamie" She pressed send and pocketed her phone. She kept walking trying to find a good place to sit. The beach seemed nice. Jamie found a nice private part of it and took a seat. she didn't have a blanket or anything but figured why not. She would no doubt stop by Gray's house later. Maybe. Last time she was there things seemed to heat up in some strange way, but he was still her best friend.
Jamie pulled out a rolled up joint and put it to her lips. She knew this was not the best place. But it was private no one was around and few hits would not hurt. So Jamie lit it up and did just that. She laid back as the day turned to the night with a few street lights shining down on her. Jamie took a few hits until she was feeling good and put it out in the sand.
Jamie felt nice as she looked up. "It's a nice night outside." Jamie said in a slow drawn out voice. Jamie new getting high in public was highly horrible but right now she didn't care. it felt nice. except she was getting hungry but was too lazy to move. So she just laid out in the middle of the beach looking up and wondering if any one would notice her. Not that it mattered.

Felipe was at a loose end. He'd made tentative plans to meet with LizBeth after school but she'd sent a text to tell him she was busy. No reason... Just busy. That happened... he knew... but that still left him at something of a loose end.
His aimless walk saw him end up at the beach and with the sun now well settled behind the horizon he struggled to see much further than a foot or two before his feet. He stared down at the sand, deep in his thoughts. He felt... unsettled. Ill at ease. Something was wrong with his relationship with LizBeth... and he couldn't honmestly say what that something was. Maybe the prom would help him figure out the confusion that had encompassed his brain lately.
Hopefully so because otherwise he...
"Merda!" he exclaimed as he toppled over the out-stretched form. Luckily he hadn't kicked the person who was lying on the sand and had more or less just tripped over them. Either way he now found himself sprawled across a pair of legs.
Female legs.
He pushed his nose out of the sand and spat a few grains out of his mouth. Only then did he look at the owner of the legs. "I didn't notice you," he offered, unknowing reinforcing the girl's earlier thought that she would go unseen. "Desculpa," he added in apology as he rolled clear of her legs. He sat up close to her feet. "I think that now that I have grappled your legs I should at least give you my name... I am Felipe," and he added what he hoped came over as a friendly smile.

Jamie had fallen into a light sleep until she felt a body fall at her feet. She pushed her self into a sitting position and rubbed her eyes. The weed was making her feel very good right now. She smiled at the guy. When he said his name she could ahve sworn it sounded familiar. "Felipe...I know that name." Jamie said. "You know usually when guys fall at my feet they offer to buy me coffee too." Jamie said laughing.
She extended her hand, "Jamie." She told him. Little Jamie realize this was the Felipe he cousin Abigail told her about. No doubt Abby told Felipe about her but that thought was not coming across probably due to the whole being high thing. "So do you make it habit of finding lonely girls to trip all over. Cause if this is your way of wanting to introduce yourself you could have just taken a seat and saved your self a fall." She smirked.
Jamie brushed some hair from her face. Her Aussie accent coming out thicker since she was high. Damn she needed to get high at the bach more often. Especially if it involved cute boys. She might have some sort of feelings for Grayson but that didn't mean other guys could not show up on the cute radar. "You go to my school right. I thought you looked familiar...Felipe..." She said his name again. "Oh I remember...your Abby's Felipe...now I get it...you know Abby. She told me about you. She said you are dangerous." Jamie was joking about the last sentence and you could tell just by her laugh shortly after.

She knew his name? He frowned slightly, pretty sure he would remember if he'd met he before. He was close to positive he hadn't... or that anyone else at school had his exact same name. "He grasped her hand. "Hi, Jamie," he replied. No, he definitely didn't remember that name. "And of course," he replied with a grin. "I find it to be a great breaker of ice. I mean, its impossible not to speak to each other once I have been face down on your legs... right?"
He brushed more sand off his face as he spoke. He had a feeling only a shower and hair wash would get rid of it completely!
"Abby? You know Abby?" He laughed when she referred to him as dangerous. "It is Abby who present danger. Only the second time I met her she glued a toffee apple to my chest," he told Jamie with a short laugh. "Wait... Jamie... Her cousin? She mentioned she had a cousin. I assumed Jamie was a male cousin." He ran a hand over his face in self-reproach. "Never assume... I know." Felipe felt pretty stupid right about now but he didn't think Abby had mentioned a gender. Knowing her that had been entirely on purpose! "How long have you been in town?" he asked. "I haven't seen you with Abby at school..."

"So you admit you were checking out my legs..." Jamiesaid with a sheepish grin as she brushed her hands off on her jeans after moving them to be indian style. "I do see your point, we are talking without that whole awkward hi moment when no one knows what to say next. I hate awkward moments." Jamie told him. She tried to avoid them. Then again jamie was one of those people who seemed to know how to avoid awkward moments most of the time. "I still like that you checked out my legs." She teased. "Admitting to that is a good ice breaker." She laughed.
"A man, I assure you I am no man. If you doubt me I know at least two or three people you could ask." Jamie said showing ehr wicked personality. Of course she did know two people but they knew she was female cause one she slept with in a platonic way or at least she thought until the kiss, and the other was her parents, of course. Unless they were hiding something from her. "I can forgive your assumption since you know Abby and she says you are cool."
Jamie shrugged, "I have been in town since late January. Came from Austaralia in case my accent is not a dead give away." Jamie joked. "We have hung around school together." They smoked toghter sometimes. "I just find I am too cool to hangout with her and she is deadly with...foods. They always find a way of ending you on people...you just made my point." Jamie said just kidding around. "Abby has spoken of you before but you never seemedto be around for her to point you out so I would tease her that you were imaginary...its almost a shane to find out you are real." Jamie was once again kidding around. She knew Felipe had been real but messing with Abby about it had been fun.

“It’s hard NOT to check out your legs,” Felipe reasoned. “I mean, my face was only an inch from them!” And he was male. Stands to reason he would have taken a good look! He laughed when Jamie declared she wasn’t a guy. “I think I will believe you,” he said in response. “I can’t see the need to ask around although... Abby was most secretive about your gender. I’m sure I referred to you as ‘him’ at least once... Maybe twice. She didn’t correct me.” He threw Jamie a wry grin. “I get the feeling she was playing some sort of trick on me, don’t you? But... she said I’m cool?” Felipe forgot to be annoyed at Abby for the gender trick... even if any annoyance was totally mock and in good humour. “She said that?” Jamie nodded and Felipe felt a sense of warmth in the pit of his stomach. Yes, they were only friends - best friends - but it was still good to know she thought of him in that light.
“Ah so you are Australian. I wasn’t sure if you had an English accent or maybe even from South Africa. It’s not easy for me to place countries to voices. Not unless the accent is South American. Then I could probably place it as close as the nearest town. All American accents sound alike to me.”
Jamie wasn’t wrong about the food part. Abby was lethal when armed with anything even remotely edible! He threw Jamie a wry smile. “I feel terrible for having shattered the illusion of me not being real. You could always pretend to have fallen asleep here on the beach and dreamed our entire conversation!”

"That would explain how we are cousins. I am just as wicked. My best friend grayson had no idea Abby was my cousin. The only reason he didn't know is because I denied it until Abby blabbed to him. it was rather funny. he didn't appreciate the joke right away. But i know he laughed" Jamie said with a smirk. She bad Abby were like that at times. Playful and not exactly correcting someone, just to see what happened. "Abby never lies about her opinion on people. Which means if she likes you, so do I." Of course Jamie meant as a friend.
"Yes I am Aussie. Well all foreign accents sound the same to me. I think the only one I know would be American, obviously, Irish and Scottish, just because people always seem to get my accent confused with the other two. I have been called Irish and Scottish more then once and for some reason even when i correct the person they do not understand." Jamie began to laugh, "Now I just smile and nod even if someone claims I have the wrong accent."
Jamie actually thought about Felipe's idea for a brief moment, "You know that seems like a good idea. Then i can come up with some elaborate fantasy about this dangerous Brazilian who came to me in my dream." She said playfully.

He laughed. “I keep telling you I am not dangerous. Not that I am aware of anyway. Abby has a lot to answer for if she put such thoughts into your head!” Oh and he would make her pay! “You feel like getting a coffee?” he went on to ask. He had no other plans for his evening and was avoiding LizBeth mainly because she confused him when they were together. She made him forget his doubts and uncertainties and Felipe was hoping to keep his head clear tonight.
“And then you can tell me all the gossip about Abby,” he added. “Payback for her making out you were male!” He had a feeling he had something of an ally in Jamie Winchester... and with Abby and her wicked sense of humour he knew he’d need all the help he could get!

"Coffee. Make it a coffee for you and a soda for me and you got yourself a deal." Jamie wait with laughter. She held out her hand. "Help me up please?" Jamie was a light weight and was picked up with ease by Felipe as she sprang to her feet and began to brush off her bottom. "I have a feeling I am going to be dripping sand between here and home. Next time I need a bigger blanket." She commented to herself as she finished cleaning off her ass. "Is all the sand off?" She asked turning around, "And don't be afraid to touch me, I won't bite....hard." Jamie said turning around to wink.
Her head was swimming with relaxation. She probably shouldn't be driving anyway. "I don't think I know where my car is to even get home. OH it might be at home." She smirked. "If you wanna see where Abby lives could you give me a ride home, or at least escort me home on the bus." She asked smiling as they headed to get coffee and soda.
Once inside Jame ordered her soda and a muffin cause she was hungry. Then she took a seat. "So what do you want to know?" Jamie knew this was all in good humor and fun. She was enjoying it. Abby might kill her later, but those were details, details.

Felipe checked out Jamie's rear view - for sand, of course! - and proclaimed her reasonably clean. He did, though, flick his fingers at some grains on her shoulder. "You have as much in your hair as I believe I have in mine," he commented with a wry grin and he ran his hand over his hair, showering himself in fine grains. A lost cause for sure!
"I would love to be able to drive you home but.." He lifted his shoulders and hands, "... I walked here. The bus sounds good, though. I would like to know where Abby lives." Maybe she'd even be in? That would be an added bonus! He wanted to make sure (again) that she was still coming to the prom the following evening. Knowing her she'd be already trying to come up with a whole host of excuses!
"I want to know about her habits. Does she snore? Fart? Drink tea from a saucer? Eat pickle with ice cream? That kind of thing." Felipe paused, adding, "And why she is so sad. She's never told me about that... and why she refused to get a date for the dance tomorrow." He paused. "She DOES like boys... doesn't she?"
