( Takumi’s outfit media.photobucket.com/image/tetsu/Hikaru1029/aparis49.jpg?o=481 ) “You think she will like it?” he asked for the third time since he’d dressed. Takumi knew his outfit wasn’t like anything anyone else would be wearing but then again, Takumi wasn’t like anyone else period! “Izzy will love whatever you wear,” his mother assured him and she straightened the long scarf he’d bought the other day so that the black skulls lay more evenly. The swathe of neon pink looked good against the darkness of his suit and perfectly matched the colour of his equally hot pink silk shirt. “But sunglasses? Takumi, its getting dark.” “Sunglasses,” he stated and he slid the large pair onto his face. “I might stay out tonight, okaasan. Some of the others have booked rooms at the hotel. If it goes on late we might crash.” “Crash?” She looked worried and he laughed. “Slang. It means sleep,” he explained. * * * At the designated time he arrived at the Chen household and he waited for Izzy to come downstairs in slightly nervous anticipation. He fiddled with the ends of the scarf, glancing up when he heard footsteps. “Kawai!” he breathed and Izzy did indeed look cute. More than cute. She looked... stunning! He reached up both hands to help her down the last few steps. “Izzy, you are most beautiful,” he declared. “Like a princess!” It was about then that he noticed his scarf as it brushed against her dress. Neon pink and red... “We are going to dazzle them completely, hai?” he added with a bright smile and if he was unable to tear his gaze from her then perhaps he could be forgiven.

Izzy had made sure it was all perfect. Her hair was smoother back and in a bun with little jewels woven into her hair. She walked down the stairs slowly so she would not fall. She would have preferred to run, but choose against it. She smiled as she saw Taki's outfit. The pink shirt immediately standing out.
"I have a feeling all eyes may be on us for a moment, but I actually enjoy seeing you dressed in that. I like your uniqueness." She told him. "Don't ever change. i like the scarf." It wouldn't be Taki without something like a pink shirt. She leaned up and kissed him. "Then let's dazzle them." She said smiling as she slipped her hand into his and headed out to the limo that was to take them to the dance.
When in the limo Izzy smiled pulling on the scarf bringing Taki closer to her. "I really like the scarf." She said with a laugh as she kissed him. The ride to the dance was quick, mostly cause Taki and Izzy spent the time making out. Izzy was very happy. "Luckily I wore clear lip gloss." She smirked. It was flavored strawberry. She wait for Taki to get out before she slid over and got out of the limo. They walked inside and had their pictures taken of course. "A slow song. We have good timing." She purred.

He was glad - and relieved - that Izzy liked his clothes. The scarf in particular looked to go down well. She looked amazing and it was hard to move his eyes from her body and when he did they settled on her face instead. Radiant. Beautiful... and so happy. That made him feel happy as well.
Takumi remembered nothing of the drive which was hardly a surprise given what was taking place in the back seat of the limo. He ran his tongue over his lips, tasting her strawberry kiss for one more time before they headed into the hotel.
“Su... goi!” he drawled. The place was full of life and colour. That said Takumi and Izzy’s arrival added a far brighter splash of the latter!
The posed for their photograph and Takumi held back with no small amount of restraint from putting two ‘bunny ears’fingers up behind Izzy’s head. This was serious... He had to remember that. The photo at least was serious... and so he even removed his sunglasses and beamed at the camera lens.
He threw Izzy a smile when she pointed out the beat of the music. “Now is not a good time to tell you both of my feet are left?” he asked with an innocent look on his face. She laughed, grabbed his hand and pulled him onto the dance floor where he wrapped his arms around her waist and drew her close.
Tonight promised to be a fun evening indeed!

Izzy smiled as they began a slow song, "I don't care if you have two left feet. The point of a slow song is to dance slowly. Makes it easier for you to watch your feet." She said smiling at him. They had been dating for a few months know and she was beginning to get to know Taki a little better. He seemed perfect. They had a few fights. what couple didn't fight, but things seemed to be going really good.
"All dancing is, is moving to the music. if its fast you move fast, if its slow, you move slow. " Izzy explained, "You haven't steepted on my feet yet." She told him "did you know when I left Jett told me to be careful. I am glad you were not there. It would have been embaressing." Izzy was of course refering to doing more then sleeping. Which Izzy had not been thinking about. Sure it would be nice, but she was focused on fun really.
It also did not occur to Izzy that Taki might not understand what was so embarrassing. "You have been in Americahow is it treating you?" She asked hoping he was finding the move worth it. "What are your summer plans?"

Takumi laughed as he trod (thankfully lightly) on Izzy's right foot no sooner than she'd commented that he hadn't done that so far. "Gomen," he offered in apology and she patted his shoulder in assurance that she was unharmed.
This time!
He pulled her a little closer and nuzzled her hair. It smelt of fruit. Really nice...
"Jett-san said to be careful?" Takumi grinned. "Someone told him about my bad dancing!" The Asian boy hadn't a clue what form Jett's 'warning' had really taken. Had he done so he might have turned a similar hue to his shirt!
"America has treated me very well," he replied and he stole another quick sniff of her hair. "I have made some great friends and seen some amazing places." None of the sights were on a level with Osaka but they were still amazing in their own way. "But as for summer plans..." He lifted one shoulder. "I am thinking maybe of taking a vacation. Not for long. A week perhaps. Camping. Hai. Tent and camp fire. That sort of thing." He paused and risked a glance at Izzy's face. "Would you like to go with me?"

Izzy just laughed when Taki assumed the be careful comment was about his dancing. "You really are innocent are you. No wonder I like you so much. I will explain when you are older." Izzy said smiling as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Your colonge smells good." She told him softly. She didn'thave the heart to burt his innocent bubble. Besides Jett had a dirty mind. The best thing about Taki was his innocense.
The dance endedtoo soon for Izzy's taste and the music sped up. "Camping? As in woods, bugs adn mesquitos. Wereyougoing to go alone?" She asked not sure if it wasa family thing or he wanted to go alone, "I wouldlive to join you. It sounds like fun."Izzy was not one of those girls who freaked out over not having a plug for her hair dryer.
Sure she had never been camping before but there was a first time for everything. "Hey look at youdancing to a faster beat." She said as they were sort of moving a little faster. Another step on her foot. Lucky for Izzy Taki was light on his feet. She did a twirl and end up dancing with her back against Taki. He was getting the hang of it.

He screwed up his face a little in confused bemusement. He was being innocent? He hadn't thought so but... maybe he'd misunderstood something that Izzy had said. He did that a fair bit and knew he had to come across as a total fool. He smiled at her instead. Smiling seemed to do the trick and she leaned closer, commenting on his cologne. His smile deepened.
"I got it in Osaka before we left. It is Masaki Matsushima M," he said. "I like it too and so am happy that you do!"
"But yes, camping!" he went on. "I was going to go on my own as my parents don't think they like the thought of it for themselves. You would like to come? That would be wonderful! We could either go alone or ask some friends. Jett-san maybe? Or Thad? What would you like best? Friends or just us?" Takumi would have a whale of a time either way!
He hadn't realised the music's beat had quickened, so engrossed in their conversation as he'd been. "Gomen," he offered (again) when he crushed her toes. Izzy laughed and spun her back towards him. Far safer that way as her toes were now out of reach!
They finally moved off the dance floor and Takumi slipped off his jacket. It was warm in the ballroom. "Can I get a drink for you, Izzy?" he asked. "I have heard the punch is spikey but am not all that sure what that means," he confided.

"It means someone has slipped alcohol into the punch, so it's best to not drink it unless you want to get a little drunk." She didn't think Taki was that kind of guy. Which made her like him even more. Izzy didn't believe in drugs or alcohol. She didn't judge cause her two best friends indulged and so did Jett, but she didn't do it herself. She nodded in terms of needing a drink. "I hear the lemonade is safe." She said with a tiny laugh as Taki disappeared. She had a smile on her face, a happy one. She had not been so happy since her mothers death. She really was lucky.
Izzy did feel bad about one thing. She had yet to reveal the sexual assault to Taki, not because she didn't want to keep it from him, but more like she wasn't sure what it would make him think. It was one of those things she kept chickening out about. "Thank you." She said taking the cup he offered. "Would is be mean of me to say I would like it to just be us and camping?" She asked him.
"But I do have an idea. perhaps we can do a sleepover with our friends. There are many abandoned buildings that are said to be haunted. We can always have a sleep over in one. This way we will hopefully be more secluded and the cops won't find out." Izzy suggested. "That way we can camp by ourselves, but we still have plans with friends too."

"Ok then we shall camp alone. It will be fun and romantic!" Takumi exclaimed with a bright smile. Just him and Izzy... and the stars. What more romantic a setting could there be? As long as it didn't rain... and the spiders stayed away. Takumi really hated spiders!
"I will arrange for the tent and other bits we shall need," he went on, the plan already building inside his head. "All we will need then to do is decide where we shall go. We can have a look at some maps maybe?"
The more they discussed it the greater the idea's appeal grew. It would be good to get away with Izzy... Just the two of them... No one else for miles.
Perfect!
Izzy's other suggestion was almost as great and Takumi nodded enthuisiastically. "A haunted building! It would be awesome! We can ask all of the gang and maybe some new friends as well. I have met one called Elena... She likes to look for spirits. I am not sure that she would find this sort of thing so good, though. She didn't seem to like people who look for ghosts for fun." For himself he could think of nothing better...! Well, maybe camping out alone with Izzy was a little higher on that list!
"Summer is sounding like it will be good!" he exclaimed and he sipped the lemonade he'd got them with a slight grimace. How could people actually say they liked fizzy drinks? Next trip to the drinks table and he would get water for himself!
"They have some food over there as well... if you wanted anything...?"

"We could tell her its just a fun sleep over among friends. i mean we are not exactly looking for ghost. We are just sleeping with them." Izzy said. She did realize how that sounded, but it was not meant like that at all. She was excited. Of course she would never sleep in a haunted place without people and a boyfriend she could hide under. "After I have seen Ringu I think I can sleep in a haunted place." She hoped.
"Are you sure it is not spiked?" Izzy asked, but her lemonade tasted fine, then again Izzy liked sour items. "You don't like sour candy and tastes do you?" She asked. This was good to know actually, what if she brought a dessert with a sour taste and Taki didn't like it. "I am hungry. Dancing really makes one want to eat." She said smiling. She held his hand as they walked over to the table.
"I am having a really good time tonight." Izzy said as she ate a few snacks and sipped more lemonade. She wanted to talk to him about a few fears mostly her past, the attack. She didn't think anything would happen, but she also didn't want to wait to hell him. What if it changed things, not that she thought it would. But it could wait.
"Ready for another dance, or are your feet killing you like mine are? Heels are never good for dancing for too long." She said. "We could go up to the room to talk." She suggested.
