He tilted his head to one side as he looked back down at Ella. "I'd like that," he replied. "The hanging out together part... not the match-making!" he quickly clarified on a short laugh. He'd had his fill of dating... what with Lia and then his dashed hoped with Sarissa. Maybe he was only ever meant to be a friend? After all, that was working pretty damned well with Ella.

"Maybe I can even talk you into trying para-gliding with me," he added. Half joking and yet at the same time semi-serious.

"And anyway, if you start trying to find me a girlfriend I will do the same for you. Fair exchange, right?"

She play-punched his arm and he grabbed her hand, towing her towards the buffet table. "All that dancing has made me hungry," he admitted. "How about we get something each and take it outside? By all accounts it's a lovely evening and we can watch the ocean while we eat." It was warm inside the hotel anyway... The fresh air would do them both the world of good. "Sound ok?"

Ella couldn't not notice the lingering tone in Christophe's voice despite him making it upbeat as he declined her offer. She was pretty certain there was a person out there for him and all he needed was to go through a few more jerks to get to the girl who actually wants him for him. And Ella was certain there were some who want him for him.

"I'm totally in for the para-gliding for sure!" Ella replied with a grin. She may not look it but she was actually an adrenaline junkie. So far she had only been on amusement park rides and she had the most amazing experience sky diving. She would think para-gliding would be a breeze. "We're definitely doing that after graduation." She nodded with a big smile.

After a light punch on his arm, Ella followed Christophe to the food table and then out of the hotel. The cool night air did wonders on Ella's skin and she was glad to be out. Even if it was with a friend.

"Thanks for tonight, Chris. I really appreciate it." She nodded at Christophe and as they chatted a little bit more, Ella was sure she would be fine without anybody else in the romantical sense. Christophe was more than enough for her. For now.
