A Night to Remember (Jade: Tag Jere, Sarah)

He stood in front of the full length mirror in his bedroom, tugging the jacket to his tuxedo into place. He had ordered it a couple of months ago as a custom thing. It was to be different, it wasn't a rental as he planned to use it again at some point and it wasn't like he needed a rental. Suits why did he have so many damn suits in his wardrobe it wasn't like he needed it.

The bow tie was the only thing he had had trouble with, his mother was on hand to help him with it though. She told him that Alex had had the same problem, it was a twin thing, they would be sharing a limo which was not at all an issue for the two of them.

"Bro are you ready to go?" Alex called tapping his foot when he realised that Jade hadn't heard him, Jade looked over at him with annoyance. "Are you not putting your aid in?" he asked.

"I am." Jade said pointing at the bed in the room with his hearing aid on. "I just hadn't got round to it yet, are we picking up Sarah or is she coming to the house?" he asked.

"Picking her up." he said.

"Right then, can you pass my cufflinks over here while I sort out my aid." Jade said to his brother who nodded.

Soon they were heading out of the door after their parents had made them promise to get plenty of photos, Jade smiled as he climbed into the limo and told the driver where they were going first Jeremy's house he felt his brother hand on his ear as he flicked the aid on.

"I could have done that myself you know." Jade said to Alex who glared at him playfully.

"You could have but you wouldn't have." Alex said as the car pulled out of the street.

Jade pulled his phone out and flicked through to his text service.

'On the way to pick you up, be their shortly be ready still have to pick up Sarah before heading to the prom. Love you Jade.' Jade typed out then sent the message.

[Sarah Hayes]

Sarah was glad they were picking her up last. For a girl who was usually always ready early, she was running late. Mostly cause her mother decided Sarah should do something with her hair and dragged her off to the hair stylist at the last minute. Sarah returned with her nails done and her hair was in curls on the top of her head with two strands of curls on the side of her face to frame her face just so. Sarah had to admit she looked good with her hair like that.

So it took her longer to get ready. She chose simple black heels that wrapped around her leg, like ballet slippers to wear. Finally she was ready, except for make up and the boys had not arrived yet, which was a good thing for her cause she was just about to begin applying makeup. Sarah was in her room as she did this and her little sister was watching her.

"I am jealous. Why can't I go to prom with you."

Sarah eyed her little sister, "Cause your a freshman and didn't get asked."

"Will you be coming home tonight or do you and Alex had other plans." Chelsea said knowing what she was implying.

"Anyone ever told you, you are a perv little sister." Sarah snorted. "I don't know what the plans are, but even if I did I would not tell you, so scram."

Chelsea just laughed. "I'm gonna tell mom your planning something bad."

Sarah just laughed. "You do that and i will tell mom who really stole her perfume."

"fine...be careful. You look pretty." Chelsea said.

Sarah finished the make up and turned around hugging her bratty little sister, "Thank you. Now go..." She said laughing as her little sister ran from the room. Sarah did a final look and she was good. Now all she had to do was wait.

Jeremy checked himself over in the mirror at home. Thankfully he had a tux for when the family had to appear for special events. He held his glasses in his hands debating on putting them on or sticking with contacts.

"Hey Jewels, I need your opinion." He called to his sister. She had decided not to go to prom but instead help out afterward with the pizza party.

"Yeah Jere?" She asked leaning in his doorway.

"Should I go with the glasses or stay with contacts?" He asked.

Julia thought for a moment. "You know, you should just put a bag over your head, it would improve the looks immensely." She teased and soon found herself get hit with a pillow.

"Thanks for the advice, I'll remember that when you get married!" he teased her back. He went with the glasses.

He got Jade's text and smiled. Seeing the words 'Love You' sent a chill to him. He sent back a message. 'I'll be waiting downstairs. Folks want pics first. Love you.'

When coming down it looked as if he were semi skipping down the steps, he saw his folks ready with the camera.

"Hey hey no paparazzi!" He joked as he went and hugged his folks.

"You look very mature tonight. Can't believe my baby boy is going to prom." Janice said wiping a tear from her eye.

"Don't cry now, wait for two years when I'm living in the basement." Jeremy said trying to lighten her mood. "Just promise me you won't embarrass me when Jade arrives?" His eyes shifted toward his father

"Promise, I know this is a big night for you."

Jere waited with the two of them for Jade and Alex to arrive at the house.

The car pulled up in front of the house and Jade was the first to climb out of the car with a smile on his face as he straighened his suit jacket. Alex climbed out and looked up at the house before looking at his brother.

"This is definitely different to what we are used to." Alex said to him as they walked up the path.

"Cosy and homely are the words you are looking for." Jade said to his brother who smiled as Jade rang the doorbell and stood back waiting for someone to answer the door. "Do I need to tell you to be on your best behaviour?" he asked.

"Do I need to ask you the same question?" Alex asked they laughed as the door opened.

"Hi, Mrs. Warner is Jeremy ready?" Jade asked politely with a smile.

He looked at his brother with a wire grin as they were shown to the living room of the house, he'd been in the room enough times so he knew where it was. He was hoping to avoid an encounter with Jeremy's sister, he hoped to god that the girl was not riding with them but he would live with it if Jeremy asked or she did for that matter. The girl's dislike for him was fair enough but they had to suffer each others presence for Jeremy's sake.

Janice was a tad confused when there were two instead of one at the door. "Come in, have a seat. He had a couple last minute preparations." She said smiling and letting the boys in.

She went to check on Jeremy and that was when Julia snuck down stairs. "Nice to see a rat cleans up nicely." She zinged at Jade.

She didn't realize Jeremy was right behind her.

"Julia, apologize to Jade."

She rolled her eyes. "Fine. Jade, I'm sorry." Almost as if she were programmed. She turned around to her brother. "Happy?" Then went off into the kitchen.

Jeremy shook his head. "She can be stubborn sometimes." He went over to the brothers, knowing which one was which. He offered his hand to Jade and helped him to his feet, putting the two face to face. Jere took the moment to kiss Jade.

"I hope that makes things better."

"Hold up, we want pics you two!" The senior Warner said entering with a camera. After a few shots, Jeremy said, "We should go before they ask for a press release."

"Jere, we'll be at the pizza place helping out so don't stay out too late!"

"Yes sir, thanks!"

Jeremy took Jade's hand and led he and Alex to the door.

Jade smiled at Julia but chose probably wisely not to say anything except to accept her apolog, "Apology accepted." he said with a nod. "Your sister kind of dislikes because of the whole thing with Mike, not an easy person to get forgiveness from at a guess." Jade said. "I call it a work in progress." he added with a smile. "I'm determined to win Julia over again, or at least to a degree that we have an amicable working relationship. I don't plan on being out of your life for a while anyway." he said.

"I'll get Jeremy back to you in one piece and to the pizza place at a reasonable time." Jade said making a point to look at his brother when he said this.

He accepted his boyfriends hand smiled at him before squeezing it and lead the way out of the house back to the limo, Alex smirking all the way to the car Jade knew what that was about but chose to say nothing about it at that moment they'd talk about it later for sure and have a good laugh about it probably.

Once they were in the limo and the limo was on the move he handed out the cokes before sitting back in his own seat, "I hope you don't mind but we have one more stop to make then we can head over to the prom." Jade said to his boyfriend before taking a very good look at him. "You look stunning tonight." he whispered in his boyfriends ear knowing that Alex wouldn't want to hear it but wouldn't mind hearing him say it either.

[Sarah Hayes]

Sarah finally put the following touches on her out fit as she headed down the stairs once more. Her father ran into her and smiled giving his daughter a twirl. "You look lovely. Alex is one lucky boy. Do I need to have a talk with him...maybe slip him a little something something."

Sarah just eyed her dad. "I swear you say one thing like that when he walks though that door and I will steal your most prized guitar and hide it." Sarah smirked.

Mr. Hayes laughed. "Fine then I will just tell you not to corrupt the young man. We all know it would most likely be you doing the corrupting since you take after your old man." Sarah and her father both laughed.

Sarah's mother shook her head. "Please do not encourage her."

Chelsea laughed, "Mom they are being gross. You missed it."

Sarah's mom rolled her eyes. "Why doesn't that surprise me. You Mr. Hayes are not allowed to talk to Alex or his brother when they get here." Mrs. Hayes warned.

"My lips are sealed." Mr. Hayes said.

"We wish, all three girls said in unison." Then they laughed.

Now all Sarah could do was wait. She had never felt so exctied. It was just so surreal. This was the longest relationship she had had and it was with a guy no one thought she would date, but he stole her heart.

The car pulled up for its second to last stop before they got to the prom, Alex and Jade climbed out of the car before Jade turned to look at his boyfriend. "You and all Jere, you don't get to escape some more photo's possibly, lets just hope that they can remember who is who, or that might just get embarrassing." Jade said to him.

"Alex seriously lets go get your girlfriend before you lose all sense and become a cabbage for the rest of eternity." Jade said to him Alex smiled as they headed up to the house and rang the door bell Jade stepped back and away from the door before finding Jeremy's hand. The door opened and Jade looked at his boyfriend, "First test of the evening." Jade whispered in his ear. "How they take the two of us going to the same prom as all the straight couples will indicate the reception we get." Jade said. "Just for the record I brought my athletic support." he added with a smile.

"You guys done talking." Alex asked Jade who blushed.

"Oh hey Mr. Heyes, this is Jeremy and you know me already but for the record I'm Jade." Jade said to him.

[Sarah Hayes]

Keith looked at the three young men. "Jade, right. The one with the boyfriend. Sarah has mentioned you. Alex, always a pleasure. Twins. i am not sure I will ever be able to tell you apart." Keith moved so The three could enter.

Sarah smirked. "Good thing I can. Thats all that matters. is that my lips end up on the right twins lips." Sarah winked as she walked over to Alex giving him a lingering kiss. "Yup thats the right twin." She joked laughing. At first Sarah had a hard time but she soon learned how to tell Alex and Jade apart.

"Picture time." Mary called. "Everyone together." She picked up her camera and snapped some pictures. "You all grow up so fast." She sniffed.

"Mom, please, save the water works for next year." Sarah grabbed a silver clutch purse.

Keith eyed Alex, "Wait, you can't leave till Alex and I have the talk about tonight...."

"Oh no you don't. "You do that dad and I will tell everyone your most embarrassing moment." Sarah and her dad had a mock playful stare down until Keith sighed.

"Fine. Just be safe and I mean that for all three of you. And I mean it in more ways then one." Keith said mainly looking at Alex.

Mary covered her face, "Why must you be like this."

"Because she is my daughter." Keith said.

Sarah smirked and kissed her mom's cheek, ruffled her sisters hair and then kissed her dads cheek, "I love you too daddy. Goodnight."

Sarah turned back to the others, "Are we ready?" Finally giving Alex the view of her in her dress with her hair down for once.

Alex smiled at the man, "I will be a complete and utter Irish gentleman tonight." Alex said to the man Jade looked at him with a raised eye brow.

"I'm the one with the hearing aid Mr. Hayes hard not to tell us apart." Jade supplied to the man with a smile. "And hey people can remember which one I am now, it only took seventeen years to make happy." Jade said with a smile. "See you keep telling our parents we are different, now we have prove." Jade said smiling.

"Bro your still a dufuss." Alex said to him.

"All part of the process of growing up." Jade said to him with a grin on his face. "Sorry Mr. Hayes we kind of do this from time to time. We should get going before we take up more of your parents evening of freedom from our juniors." Jade said to them all before turning to Jeremy. "Love we should give them photo ops without us as well, why don't we wait out in the car." Jade said to his boyfriend. "It was good to see you both again." Jade said to the Hayes.
