Isaac couldn't believe how lucky he was getting someone like Peyton Saunders. She was cunning, witty, stronger than anyone he knew and no one could deny that she was extremely beautiful. And she was willing to do anything for him, as he was willing to do anything for her. Anything. When she pulled him back into a supply closet, his hand touched hers to close the door before he wrapped that hand around his waist. It felt good to be touched by her like this.
"Wherever you go, baby. I'm going to be there with you. If you choose to stay here, I'm here. But will you be able to support your tuition without getting a job?" He had to ask. He was willing to support her, no doubt but it would be steep, staying here. Getting a job would be pretty hard. Although with Isaac's pristine academic and extra-curricular record, he was sure getting into college would be a breeze. The same actually went for Peyton. Maybe she could get a full ride to somewhere in the east coast?
They just had to get away from their families. Because if they didn't, how else would they be together? Without sneaking around? "I don't want you to let me go. Never. But I just can't keep sneaking around either. I don't want us to be a secret. I want to be able to go out and have dinner with you, Peyton. Without having to go to a hotel separately and ordering room service. I want to be able to tell my parents that you're coming home with me over the summer."
Isaac's eyes fluttered close as her fingers played with his lips and hair. Hearing the words from her made it seem that much more special and he wouldn't mind listening to it over and over. "I won't leave you. Unless I die, I won't leave you." A tad dramatic but he needed to make a point. He couldn't leave Peyton even if he wanted to. And he didn't want to.
"We're broken up. That means we don't have prom. Or graduation."

"I was actually looking forward to prom. I had the best dress picked out. One that you would be wanting to get me out of the moment you saw me in it." Peyton teased, "As for graduation I had this whole idea of how to spend the night with you." She said with a sigh. "Are you telling me we can't do any of that? I actually have to miss my prom or go with someone else?" She questioned. cause if they broke up then thats what had to happen. They had to cease everything until the coast was clear and Peyton was not sure she could do that.
"I hate this." She told him as she kissed him. "What do we do? break up, play the part, then figure it out, do we continue...I don't know what to do and that scares me." For once she didn't have a plan, or an idea. She had no game and no outcome. All she had were facts and nothing was fitting together. Not like it once had. She either kept seeing Isaac and ruined her future or she stopped seeing Isaac and kept on the track her father wanted.
Peyton was sure she could get a scholarship, she knew she could get accepted into schools on both the east and west coast. She just didn't want to have her father turn his back on her. She didn't like the idea of having to choose. She loved LA and didn't plan to leave California. She wanted to stay here, close to her father, but not seemed as if that was not possible. "Whats the verdict?" She wished she had the answers, but she didn't. It was killing her inside.
Peyton ran her fingers up and down Isaac's neck holding his face close to hers. She kissed him. She slid her tongue between his lips and kissed him putting all her passion into it. Someone better try and rip them apart cause it wasn't going to happen. "Fuck it. I am sick of letting him dictate my life." She moaned against his lips kissing him harder.

"I don't doubt that at all," the dark haired boy grinned, leaning his head back on the door. And as her questions came, Isaac couldn't answer them. It just sounded terrible in his head. Both outcomes had a huge flaw. Neither worked to his advantage. They both may have succeeded in duping countless of other people with their combined wit and charm but when it came to their own problems, just like this one, they were stumped.
"Honestly, I really don't know if we can. I want to. Trust me. I really want to. And there is no way in hell anyone else is going to be your date but me." Isaac growled playfully, albeit the fact that he was actually serious.
"I hate this too, Becs." He leaned forward before resting his forehead on hers. "Wish we could change things but for now, we're going to have to settle for being liars. We're going to see each other like we used to. My parents are warming up to the idea of us being together. Or at least my mom is. I no longer care what my dad thinks so right now as long as your dad doesn't find out about us, we're going to be fine. Okay?"
He sounded so confident. In truth, he was obviously scared as well. He had never cared about anything in his life besides himself and his family - his father not included. But right then, he just wanted Peyton in his life. And there was nothing short of maiming Todd Saunders that he wouldn't do to make sure Peyton stayed.
Her kiss came as a pleasant surprise and Isaac returned it wholeheartedly. Her defiance surprised Isaac as well but he just continued kissing her. "Fuck it indeed." He mumbled between his kisses. He stopped in the middle of it and looked at her. "Becs...we're going to have to figure out a real exit strategy."

"I want to go to prom. With you. I won't take no for an answer. " Peyton told Isaac. "I will not miss my prom cause my father thinks he knows what is best for me. I will go with you and you end up having me before the night is over." Peyton teased. "And you will have to wait until that night before yotouch m again cause right now I am feeling as if I am doing all the kissing and you just keep talking. I mean..we are in a closet alone and our clothes are still on." Peyton teased as she backed up from him. Peytn just smiled.
Peyton sighed at the idea of having to be liars, but it could not be avoided. "What do you mean by an exit strategy?" Peyton questioned, "I just wish my father understood that this is what I want. I don't care about how young I am." She told Isaac. She turned her back to him for a moment. She still would not go near him just to joke around and tease him. She loved it. It was fun. She eyed Isaac when she turned back back around and leaned on the opposite wall.
"So exit strategy? huh." She repeated. "Thats easier to say then to do." Peyton saidwith a smile. Maybe if she talked with her dad or found a way to make him see that Isaac and Peyton were good. That he was not hurting her and wouldn't hurt her. If anything it looked as if it was the other way around. Peyton seemed to be the one capable of crushing Isaac as evident by his hand. "Sorry about your hand. I assume you smashed it cause of the break up."

A slow grin crossed the handsome boy's face. "And here I thought I was the pants. Becs, you look better in a skirt. Well, preferrably without it but...pants don't flatter you sweetheart." Isaac grinned, running his fingers through her hair. "I'm happy to oblige you. However means necessary and babe...I am not about to do it in this closet. It's beneath us." He tweaked her nose and slid his hands down her sides.
He let her speak, listening to her concerns. When she moved out of his embrace, he frowned slightly. Obviously Isaac was not used to her pulling away when they weren't angry with each other anymore.
When she repeated her question, Isaac closed his eyes in contemplation before looking at her once more, sudden clarity in his dark brown eyes. "I could ask my mom about renting an apartment just a little outside the city. I could work while you studied and we could take turns doing that to pay rent. Or we could go someplace where you don't have to leave your dad if you don't want to but you can still be with me." He paused and looked at Peyton for some sign of agreement.
"I don't want you to give up this place. I don't need you sulking after your father because I know your relationship with him and I am not going to ruin it just because I'm selfish and I want you all to myself." He smiled wryly. His hands were suddenly the subject and he looked down at them, bundled up in bandages. The smile turned somewhat sheepish, a new look for Isaac. "That and then some."
The bell rang and Isaac groaned, banging the back of his head on the door behind him. "We have to go."
