Ezzie smiled and shook her head yes, "You are right the word is deal. And if I start speaking in a foreign lanuage slap me. I am Hispanic so I speak spanish too. Its my first language, but I have lived in America all my life, so I learn ed English along the way." It was true. Ezzie began learning English when she was in Kindergarten. Until then it was all Spanish. Thats the only language spoken at her house. Her parents can speak english, but its not as great as hers.

"You think you have it easy. We shall see Mister." Ezzie said laughing as she poked Taki in the arm. "MI familia." She said starting in Spanish and then correcting herself, "Sorry. I mean my family is orignially from Puerto Rico. My parents came to the States a long time ago." Ezzie said trying to explain in hopes Taki understood. "So they do speak English, but my brothers and sisters and I speak it better."

"I go to Gould. Just started. Freshmen as charged." Ezzie listened as he talked about Japan, "I want to travel to many places. Definatly Japan, maybe China, russia, India, Rome...I could go on and on. Trust me the list is long. I just want to see the world beyond the US. Do you have any plans tonight...I don't...we could hang out and you can try and teach me to read...or we can always hang out tomorrow. "

"I have no plans.. for ANY night," he replied with a laugh. "I only arrived here two days ago and am still finding my... hmm... " He knew this phrase but was struggling to remember it. "Finding my... feet! Hai! Feet!" He was pleased with himself, pretty certain he'd recalled it correctly. "I would be honoured to.. hang out tonight." At least, he thought it was ok to say that, not really knowing what 'hanging out' entailed but it didn't seem as if Ezzie had propositioned him and didn't look to be the kind of girl who engaged in anything illegal. He rummaged in his pocket and pulled out his phone, complete with in-built address book. The keys bore kanji symbols, making it highly unlikely it would make sense to many other people.

"Ok - this is my number..." He entered Ezzie's into the phone when she told him what it was. "Where shall we meet?" He prayed it would be a place he could find but if not he could always call her and shout for directions.

Plans were made and Takumi smiled in pleasure, turning to their other companion. "You can join us perhaps, Ashton?" The open invitation was there but for the moment, Taki looked forward to the prospect of a good evening. It would be fun to get out of the house and see what happened at night...
