" I usually am." Reagan replied to his comment about being the minority. She liked all the things the other girls did, dressing up, going to the football games, those types of things. It just had never been something for her to get so emotional over, no matter what those emotions were ( happy, upset, etc. ) If she wanted to go then she went. If she didn't want to or there was a reason she couldn't make it, she wasn't going to cry or be super upset and depressed over it. There were few things that made her that over zealous.
" Don't worry. I hear about it to, I have friends. " she joked lightly. " I figure I will find something else even better to do that night so I don't have to feel like I missed anything. " That was probably a lie, there wasn't a whole lot else to do for someone like her in a place like this, especially with every person she knew at the prom she was not attending. She would figure it out though, she was a smart girl.
Reagan pushed her hair back out of her face again and watched as a few more people entered the cafe. She was glad now she had stopped doing her homework, more people meant more distractions and she didn't study as well when it was overly crowded anyways.
" I don't wanna keep you if you just came in for a coffee. I'm sure you have other places to head off to? " she asked honestly. Hers was now gone and he was from what it looked like probably only a drink or two away. It was nice having someone to talk to a bit and be a distraction of the good sort, she had wanted originally to do homework but it wasn't like that couldn't be accomplished at home before bed or in the few hour time frame after school she and her siblings were the only ones home.
