SAVE THE DAY

This is not New Earth. This is a different earth parallel to new earth, similar people,
similar place. But what is the difference? There are no heroes. If there were heroes
just think how weird people would think that was. People running around in tights,
what? That's crazy, how are they going to stop the crime. No, this earth bases it's
trust on the law enforcement system and the government. Now that is not to say
that there aren't people with powers running around, there are. There are Aliens,
some well known, some hiding. There are people from Atlantis, Amazons, and those
who have just gained powers through accidents and mishaps. But they don't really do
anything with them, no heroing or anything of that nature. They don't really see the
point with such an efficient legal system. Things aren't perfect, there is crime, there
is suffering, but things are like that all over. And things aren't horrible either.

Of course that was until everything seemed to start malfunctioning, every computer
type thing stopped working, everything started misfiring. All the computer systems
stopped functioning and all the nuclear missiles fired. Needless to say the world was in
chaos, cities were destroyed, most places were decimated, and millions people died.
There was chaos, fear, and general madness going on. People were torn from their
families in everything going on and most people were displaced in places far from home.
It was horrible, and people started taking advantage of everything going on, those
of more sinister mind started creating more chaos, started taking advantage of all the
fear, and things were not great at all.

It has been a month or so since that happened and there have been safe camps formed
in most major cities where people can go and be generally safe, and secure. They have
ways of communication with other camps so if they are on the search for a family member,
or friend that they haven't been able to find so that is also a good thing. Things still aren't
good, and there are still those people out there with intentions to hurt people for whatever
reason. And there are some like minded people in the camps that have had enough.
Maybe they are thinking of taking things into their own hands because they can, they
have the abilities, skills, or powers to do so. There have started to be small groups and
teams formed of these people who are wishing to help the innocent people around and
make sure that they are safe and secure.

There are people willing to take advantage of the situation, hurt people, create
more chaos, but there are people around who are ready to SAVE THE DAY!
