"I met your parents and I have faith they will see it as okay and not holdit against you." Izzy understood about honor and having to be held in high regard by your parents. It was the same for Koreans, which is one of the thingws Izzy had a problem with because she was not sure how her father saw her in his eyes. She hoped it was with repect and high regard.
"Draw...its draw." Izzy said with a laugh, "Murder mystery weekend. Is that where you leave little envelopes with clues for people to find. That sounds like fun.Let me know when and I will help set it up. I happen to know someone who likes to write for a living. So she can write the clues..." Izzy winked meaning herself. She smiled.
"Oh you will learn, because if you don't get the write answer, then you do not get your reward." She told him softly. "Care for a preview of this reward...or should I deny you starting now." Izzy teased. She smiled at him when he suggested going home. She sighed, "But I was having so much fun with you. I hate to leave you now." She told him.
Izzy ran her fingers through Taki's hair. "I just want to stay like this. Warm and happy." Izzy placed her forehead against Taki's. She sighed and looked at him. "Jett brought up something from my past that no one really knows and it just....got to me, you know. SO i know I should talk to JEtt, but what he said wtill affected me." She told Taki.

"Hai, draw the line," he repeated except Takumi knew damned well he'd have forgotten that phrase come the next day. It wasn't precisely one often used. "Oh, clues!" He clapped his hands together in excitement, the murdery mystery idea becoming all the more appealing. "But who shall we 'kill'?" He grinnded. "Jett-oneesan, perhaps?" he teased with a wink.
He turned serious though (well, as serious as it was possible for Takumi to be!) when Izzy spoke of with-holding rewards. "Then I think I will be a perfect learner," he replied, nodding enthusiastically at the offer of a preview. They laughed together until Izzy remembered the much-needed chat with Jett.
Takumi mimicked Izzy's actions with his own hair by dipping his hand beneath her silky locks. Strands of her dark hair hooked between his fingers and he drew in a slight breath, looking intently at Izzy when she mentioned 'something' from her past. Something no one other than she and Jett knew about.
"The past is the one thing none of us can alter," he said in a low voice. "Our present and future are in our own hands but not so for the past. We either accept what has already happened and use it to learn from or it haunts us... like it seems to be doing for you now. Whatever it was Jett said to remind you of that event is clearly oainful. Perhaps by telling Jett why that hurt you might be able to find a way to turn that haunting moment into something more positive? One that can be a point in your life and for the better?"
He threw Izzy a wry smile. "I probable have said the wrong thing or used the wrong words but... what I am trying - badly - to say that whatever happened to you in your past doesn't need to be something that can come back and upset you. I would be honoured to try and help you find a way to turn that around. You don't even need to tell me what happened!" No way was he asking that! "Would you like me to come with you to see Jett?"
