"Yeah...completely ignoring Aly doesn't really work. Tried that in the beginning but it got boring," Brittany shrugged. And causing her mom not to marry Aly's dad? Well, that was no good either. After all, it was already said and done. That, and Brittany had seen how happy her mother had been since she'd met Aly's dad. To Brit, that was way more important than the inconvenience of having Aly around. Although the pranks they pulled on each other were fun and worth it. Brittany was pretty sure that they didn't hate one another at all anymore anyway. They just had to keep acting like they did. It was how things worked.
"Oh yeah? Is it painful? I always thought getting thrown around in the air seemed like the only fun part of cheerleading," she said with a shrug, but then again, Brittany was no stranger to pain either. She often pulled stunts that could easily end up in her getting hurt...she'd just been lucky so far, she guessed.
Brittany took the other girl's address and stuffed it in the back pocket of her jeans just as Evan approached, giving her a kiss. Brit smiled. "I know I'm early! Aren't you proud? See! I can wake up on time," she grinned as he handed her half the candy bar. "Yay! Rewards!" she trilled, watching as Evan shoved his half into his mouth. She couldn't help but giggle as the girls watched him for a moment.
"Nah...you're good," Brit laughed when he asked if there was anything on his face. She looked over at Ella, "Want some?" she asked, breaking her half in half and holding it out to the other girl. "Ella's having a party tonight," she told Evan, not sure if her boyfriend had plans already or not. "I'm gonna go get cupcakes to bring...and I'm sure Ella will have cookies," she said. "Oh! Brilliant! I can bring cupcakes and we can stick cookies on top of them! It will be mad delicious," she said, pleased with her idea.

"So the pranks you play is your relationship with Aly." Ella summed up, not sure if it was true or not but it did seem likely. Ella didn't have a sister nor did she actually want one. Sure she used to want one so she could dress her up but that was when she was five. She had gotten over it a long time ago. So her feelings about sisters were indifferent and she couldn't empathise or sympathise even with Brittany. She wished she could offer some kind of wisdom to the girl but she clammed up.
"Being in a pyramid? Having someone's knee dig deep into your spine? It's magical," Ella rolled her eyes. She knew everything about cheerleading is a reason to not be on the team but Ella enjoyed combining gymnastics and dance into one. Both are good as individuals but together it was pretty awesome. She couldn't begin to explain the exhilaration of sticking a double pike after being thrown into the air.
Evan's arrival made Ella's face fall but she replaced it with a huge smile instead, not wanting either one to pick up on anything. She couldn't even admit it to herself, she wouldn't know how to handle it if anybody else knew. Taking a deep breath, she smiled at Brittany and Evan's interaction with each other. They were sweet without being nauseating. But the kiss seemed a bit too much from Evan. Like Ella even had a chance to steal...stop.
Ella laughed with Brittany when Evan asked if there was anything on his face. She bit back a sarcastic remark when Brittany offered her some of the Butterfingers. She shook her head and patted her gym bag. "I've got my cookies." Ella shrugged with a grin.
"Or you could put the cookies as the base of the cupcakes! Like, scoop the stuff out, smush the cookie down and then pile the cupcake back in...that would be awesome."

“I’m like, super proud.” Evan nodded, “See, cause you get rewards, and look!” He pointed at his face with both hands. Or more rather, the big grin that was currently on his face. “See, this is my proud face. But it’s really weird we’re both up early, you know, on time. Something’s not right about that. Oh well, it means we get chocolate!” He supposed, when you put it that way, it was worth getting up for. Chocolate was worth doing anything for, really. Except homework. Well, maybe a little bit of homework. That was how his mum got him to do it when he was younger, bribe him with candy. He wouldn’t kiss Aly for candy, not for all the candy in the world. But apart from that, he decided, there probably wasn’t much he wouldn’t do for candy.
“A party with cupcakes and cookies? Oh, I’m so there! Sounds like an awesome party!” Evan decided, very enthusiastic about anything that involved food. “Well then, I’ll bring some candy. Cupcakes, cookies and candy! That’s awesome! It’s going to be so good.” He clapped his hands together in excitement, thrilled at the prospect of his Friday night. He was going to be so full of sweetness by the end of it.
With what the girls continued to say about the food though, he only got more excited. “Wait...so, cupcakes with cookies on top, and cupcakes with cookies in them? You girls have the best ideas ever! Well, I can’t let you do all the work. Hmmm, well, how bout this? I’ll be the official yummy food tester. Whatever food you all come up with, I’ll try, and let you know if it’s good or not. I know, it’s really nice of me.”
With a laugh, he slipped an arm around Brit’s waist, pressing a kiss to her temple. “Maybe we could get a cupcake, scoop some of the middle out, put candy inside and put a cookie on top. I can try that one too. It can be called the Evan. Hey, you’ve got a pizza, I want some food named after me too.” he teased her, before glancing back at Ella, trying his best to look innocent. It wasn’t really working though. “So, got cookies huh? Interesting.”

Brittany took a bite of her half of the chocolate bar when the other girl turned it down. Brittany rarely said no to anything involving chocolate unless coconut was also involved. She hated coconut...and that pink stuff that was sometimes in the mixed boxes of chocolates, not that she knew what that pink stuff was anyway.
"Cookies in the cupcakes..." Brit said, her eyes wide with excitement. "Like a cookie surprise! That's awesome. You think it would work better if we baked cupcakes though?" she asked. "I was just gonna buy some...but if we bought like cupcake mix...we could like...bake the cookies in," she said, pausing to think about how this would work.
"A cupcake with candy and cookies...yeah that would be the Evan," Brittany laughed as Evan kissed her again and placed his hand around her waist. She wasn't used to these sorts of public displays of affection, mostly because Patch was so uncomfortable with it. They usually kept things quick and saved all the mushy stuff for when they were alone. But for once it seemed that Patch wasn't already glued to Evan's side, which was probably why Evan was taking advantage.
Brittany twirled a strand of her orange hair as Evan asked Ella about the cookies. "It's Ella...of course she has cookies," Brittany said, as if it was obvious. "What time does your party start anyway?" Brittany asked with a smile. "After school I gots some locker duty with Mal...but then again you got the pep rally anyway...will it be like after that?" Brittany asked. "I could probably stop at the store and get some cupcake mix and icing on my way over...I mean...baking can't be that hard...can it?" she asked.

It pained her to see how lovey Evan was being with Brittany but she told herself that it was silly. Brittany was straight as an arrow. There was no reason for Ella to be in pain. Silly Ella. She brightened her smile at the excited couple. She joined in as well since she was also a cookie freak. "A cupcake cookie. Oh that would be awesome." Ella nodded enthusiastically.
When Brittany mentioned about baking the cupcakes, Ella widened her eyes in slight surprise. Should she tell Brittany that baking cupcakes takes a bit more time than the cooking shows make it out to be. The preparation itself took a bit of time. The baking doesn't, but still. Maybe she should start the party late? She was sure Casey wouldn't mind.
Being recognised as a cookie fiend made Ella laugh and Evan's look of 'innocence' didn't help. He was a joker through and through and Ella couldn't help laugh whenever he was around. It was obvious that Ella always had cookies. It helped that her nights were sometimes filled with baking cookies just to bring to school. She unzipped her bag and took out the paper bag filled with butternut crunch cookies and handed it to Evan. She had her own container stashed under her cheerleading outfit. "You can take all of 'em." She shrugged.
"Oh damn...I forgot about the pep rally. Oh well, the party can start late. I told the people I invited that it started at 8 and you know how parties are so I wouldn't worry too much about the baking. You can do it if you want." Ella smiled mostly at Brittany but she threw a glance at Evan as well. "If you have trouble, just call me." She said casually.

“Course it would be. And it would be the most awesome cookie candy cupcake in the world. Of course it would be the only cookie candy cupcake in the world, but still, that’s not the point. That just means it’s one of a kind, like its namesake. And I know you love that.” Evan teased, pressing a kiss to Brittany’s cheek.
It was because he could be that Evan was more affectionate, in public, than he was usually was. Patch really got grossed out by kissing and stuff like that, so in consideration of his awesome bestie, he and Brit tended to turn things down a few notches. But they didn’t have to worry about that for the time being, Ella didn’t seem grossed out, so he felt free to be his normal, touchy feely, crazy about his girlfriend self. “But imagine if there were two mes. That would be awesome! The first me, which would be the original me, could do all the fun stuff, like hang out, eat candy, watch movies, while the second me, which wouldn’t be me, could do the boring stuff. Does that make sense? Yep, it does. I mean, come on, very cool. Someone needs to make a machine that can do that.”
“Oh, forgot about locker room duty. I hate that. I swear the jocks have no hygiene in the slightest.” Evan grumbled, his good mood diminished. But then cookies were mentioned once more, and like a switch had just been flicked, he was instantly cheery again, grinning excitedly. He did love his yummy food, and it was good to be in a conversation with people who also appreciated it.
He grew even more excited when Ella pulled out a bag that he knew was filled with cookies, and gave them to him. “Oh, you should never say that to me. Cause I will. I just can’t help myself. I’ve got no willpower when it comes to yummy things. Just ask Brit.” he teased, nudging his girlfriend side before she could do the same to him. Then he opened the bag, looking at the contents with nothing short of awe on his face. Closing his eyes, he breathed in deeply. “Mmm, these are good cookies. Thanks! You make the best cookies.” he grinned at her in appreciation, before holding out the bag to Brit first. Just in case he demolished them too quickly. No willpower.
When he eventually got to eating one himself, he moaned in pleasure, waiting until he finished it off before speaking again. “You’ll be right babe. Cupcakes aren’t too hard to make, I’ve made a heap of then. Then again, I’m an awesome cook. Can’t wait to try ‘em.” Today, with the brief exception of the afternoon locker room duty, though he and Patch always made that a bit of fun, was going to be great. “I can’t wait for this party!”

"Well...yeah...but I'll need some of your cookies to like put in the batter when I make them," she said. She was pretty sure it wouldn't be hard. She wasn't planning on baking them from scratch or anything...she was just going to buy and mix and add eggs or whatever.
Yeah, the pep rally and locker duty. Brittany wasn't really looking forward to either. If it was up to her, she'd skip out of school early on a Friday afternoon (after all, arrive early = leave early, made sense to her) but she knew if she didn't show up to do it that she'd be in even more trouble than she already was, which wouldn't have been good. After all, there had been talk of suspension if they didn't abide by their punishment, and while Brittany's mom tended to let her get away with a lot, she hadn't exactly been pleased with her when she'd gotten that call from the principal about her involvement in the pranks. So she'd have to just go with it and do what she was supposed to for now.
"Actually, I'll be needed those," Brittany said with a wicked grin as she snatched the cookies from Evan instead of just taking one when he offered. "Need them for the cupcakes! Sorry!" she teased, dangling them in front of Evan, just out of his reach. "No more cookies for you till late," she said, "Unless, Ella can supply more," she added, looking over at the other girl. "You have more cookies? Maybe I can just bake the cupcakes at your place," she suggested, "If you have more cookies...I want them to be like baked into the cupcakes," she explained, still holding the cookies away from Evan who looked like he was about to pounce at any second. Brittany couldn't help but giggle at the situation.
"Hey...who all is coming anyway?" she asked about the party. She'd said no cheerleaders but she hadn't really specified who except for inviting Brit, and now Evan. Brittany knew that Ella had asked her to tell her friends, which she would, but she couldn't guarantee anything. After all, she didn't know if anyone had plans or not yet. But then again, knowing Evan, who seemed to be the leader of his group of friends, he'd get a ton of people to come, which could be a good or bad thing, depending on what Ella had in mind for the party.

Evan's touchy feeliness was starting to get under Ella's skin but she of course wasn't showing it. She was Ella after all. His further ramblings made Ella chuckle though. She tended to think that kind of things too. Having two Ellas would probably make her life a lot better. The second Ella would be the one that had feelings for...stop. Ella held back a sigh when Brittany turned to her about baking the cupcakes at her house.
So there was a chance that Brittany could be at her house. In her kitchen. Baking cupcakes! With cookies in them no less! And she offered! Oh this was perfect. Glancing at Evan quickly and then thinking that she was being slightly hypocritical about her situation, a huge part of her silenced that thought immediately. Taking a deep breath, she shrugged. "I'm sure I can duck out of pep rally early. Aly'll understand." Ella grinned. "If she doesn't, tough."
"I have about three containers of cookies at home. If Casey hadn't finished it all of course." Laughing, Ella thought of her twin brother who loved cookies just as much as she did. Possibly more. He always used to joke that he was glad for her being his sister for only one thing; that she knew how to bake excellent cookies.
"Ah...most probably Casey's friends from the swim team, my teammates from track and yearbook. I really hope no one crashes but...when there's a party..." she shrugged, not entirely sure of the headcount. Ella would be happy to be host to all of the people in school but she deliberately didn't tell anyone from the cheer squad and she hoped no one else had told them either. It should be easy since most of the cheerleaders didn't talk to anybody else but the popular kids and the not so popular kids usually avoid the cheerleaders so...

Evan had probably never looked so crestfallen in his life, well, at least that week, if you didn’t count Sunday and he and Brit almost breaking up, or yesterday when he felt really bad for hurting Hannah, who was really pretty cool for a cheerleader. He stared at the cookie bag his girlfriend now held away from him, wishing he’d taken his time with the one cookie he did manage to eat. He would have too, if he had known it was going to be the only one he was going to get now. Well, he wouldn’t have, he wouldn’t have been able to help himself, it was an awesome cookie.
Even hers and Ella’s continued talk of cookie cupcakes wasn’t enough to distract him from that matter at end, from the cookie ‘theft.’ He was practically drooling by the time Brit paid attention to him again, trying to work out the best way to get the cookies back. Maybe a diversion of some sort. But there was only one of him, so he couldn’t pull off a diversion and make a grab for the cookies, all at the same time. Another reason why he needed two of himself. Or if Patch was here, he could get him to do the diversion. Then again, if his best friend was here, he couldn’t have kissed Brit like he did, and he liked kissing her even more than he liked cookies. It was a really difficult situation. In the end, he decided there was nothing he could do but wait. He really wasn’t great at that. “These better be the best cookie cupcakes ever.” he grumbled in warning to the two girls, unable to wipe the smile off his face.
“Sounds cool!” Evan chimed in, partially to make himself try to stop thinking about the bag Brit was still holding. He would have been happy no matter who went though, he was generally happy to talk to anyone, make friends with whoever he could. Well, if Aly was going, he wouldn’t have been thrilled, same with Jasper. That guy was almost as bad as Aly, because of the prank. And he wouldn’t want Jessica to be there, because he didn’t want to get beaten up. Nor Hannah, because Brit wouldn’t be happy with that. The same went for Syn. But besides that, he would be happy no matter who went. He loved parties. And food. And loud things in general.
“Well, if you want, I can speak to a few people, you know, if you want more people coming. Cool people though, not like cheerleaders or anything. No offence.” he quickly added. “I mean, you’re like the only cool cheerleader. But I can speak to Patch, Mike, Takumi, Dare, get a little crowd going. Or I can just keep the cool party to myself and stuff my face with food. I’m happy either way.”

OOC: Sorry I took so long to reply! As soon as Ella said that she had more cookies at home, Brittany had no issue giving Evan back the bag in her hand. She was just busy making plans and didn't realize his desperation. "That sounds great," Brittany said. "We can find one another after the pep rally and we can get the ingredients and make them at your place before everyone else comes," Brittany said excitedly. She hadn't done much baking before so she'd appreciate the help. Plus, it seemed silly that Brittany didn't bake given how much she loved baked goods. Brittany nodded when Ella said who was coming. It wasn't really people she hung out with, so she was surprised she was still invited...but Evan was always going around and making new friends. Brittany knew she had a tendency to just stick to her friends, so she figured it wasn't sure a bad idea to make an attempt to make some new friends. Starting with Ella because of the baked goods, which were awesome. Plus, maybe if Ella decided she liked her better than Aly, maybe she could talk the surprisingly cook cheerleader into helping with one of their revenge pranks... The evil possibilities are already turning in her head. "Yeah, might as well put the word out," Brittany agreed, nodding when Evan said he'd tell people about the party. "Oh...cookies...right," Brittany said, realizing Evan's distress. She handed over the bag to her boyfriend. "You can keep these since we have more," she grinned, "and because I'm so nice," she teased, sticking her tongue out at him. "Anyway, we should probably head inside. I'm actually on time for once, so I should probably stick with that," she told the others. "I'll see ya later though," she told them both, giving Evan a quick kiss on the cheek and Ella a wave as she took off toward the school building. Wrapped for Brit
