"Aly, I lost my virginity when I was 14. I was a kid who just wanted to get laid. There is a big difference from that and waiting until you're 17, losing it to one guy and then jumping into bed with someone else two days later," he said. She seemed pretty upset that he was rejected her, only he wasn't really rejecting her. For once, he was actually trying to be the good guy and he was getting yelled at for it. Apparently Jasper would always be the bad guy. And he was bad, he had a mean streak in him....a vengeful one. He looked upon most people as if they didn't matter at all. But to those select few that he actually cared about, well they were different. For a long time, he thought that only his sister fit into that category, and his parents despite his differences with them. But apparently Aly Durand had weaseled her way in too, only he was just realizing it now.
Did he actually like Aly? Well, of course he liked Aly, she was sexy and clever and the perfect match for his wits...the only person who really called him out on his behaviors, challenged him. But having actual real feelings for her? Did he? He listened as she went on, admitting how drunk she was and how completely utterly confused by his rejection. She went on to say that Tyler didn't mean anything...was she saying that he did?
Jasper wasn't good at being intimate. He was good at having sex. Jerking girls around, putting up a ruse to make them feel like they were most important to him and then ditching them after he brought them to bed. Aly was a whole new territory and he didn't know how to deal with it...how to handle it. If he slept with Aly now, what would that mean? Would she want to be his girlfriend? Would they go out on dates? Hold hands in the hall? It all sounded so unappealing...so ordinary...although his reasons had nothing to do with Aly. It was his own strange views on relationships and women that was making him want to push Aly away even more now.
"I said that I didn't want you," he said. "I really don't see why you need some big explanation. Please, Aly, don't beg. It makes you look less pretty," he told her meanly, his way of dealing with what he was really feeling...pushing her away, taking the easy way out. He shook his head and got up from the bed. He grabbed his champagne glass and walked into the other room, for the first time actually feeling like the piece of shit he actually was half the time, not that anyone would know it. He showed no emotion as he walked away.

A difference? She waited so what? Where was the difference. He slept around with anything that flaunted sex in his face, yet she sleeps with Tyler and now all the sudden there is a difference. Unless that was the difference. "I am sorry I wasn't aware bed jumping was a problem for certain people." Aly commented in a condescending tone. In reference to his bed activities. Jasper's rejection hurt more then anything mostly because he would accept anyone else in his bed, but now he was rejecting her all because she just lost her virginity.
This left a list of options. Option 1 Jasper was jealous over the fact she did it with Tyler first and not him. No that could not be right, for Jasper to be jealous it meant he had to feel something for Aly and that was impossible. Jasper did not have feelings for women in a more then friendly way. Option 2 Jasper actually cared about the fact it had been two days and this is how girls got bad reps. But no, that would never happen. Jasper enjoyed sex, so why would he turn it down?
That left option 3, the only option that made sense. Jasper did not want Aly because she was too inexperienced. Yeah, that had to be it, which hurt even more. She was not about to become some slut just for a guy. Aly slowly removed herself from Jasper's lap. "I think you have made yourself clear." She said in a calm tone. Aly watched him walk away. She wanted him to turn around and say he was kidding, but apparently he was not. The look on his face, the void of emotion look just hurt even more.
Aly felt defeated. She had just been rejected by a guy, who on Saturday had a woman in his bed and now because she just lost her v-card she was being rejected. Apparently Jasper only wanted women who had a few notches on their belt. This could be handled in two ways. Either she got mad and went off on Jasper or she pushed it down and pretended he was right. If only she had someone to talk to. Riley was out of the question cause she was Jasper's sister and Brit...well Aly was not about to go to her. Not when she might run her mouth the Evan.
It's not like she was asking for a relationship. Aly was not dumb, with Jasper it would have been just sex nothing attached, but apparently something went wrong. So Aly stood up and grabbed her shoes. She slipped them on. Then poured another glass of champagne and walked out into the room where Jasper was. A smile on her face, "Actually you just did us a favor. Going any further would have been a bad idea. I guess I lost my head with too much champagne." Her voice was sweet and genuine, but underneath she was hurting.
"Besides we both know I was kidding about spending the night. My dad would kill me if I did. I will have the hotel call a cab later." She lied, her dad thought she was spending the night with Riley. "Now we were celebrating, so let not ruin it with such deep conversation. It's time to celebrate a victory. We should be happy, smiling, and laughing at their expense." Aly sipped her champagne, "So to us. Two masterminds that should never have been provoked." Aly held up her glass and then sipped some more as she smiled a false smile pretending everything was okay.

Jasper was surprised when Aly followed him out of the room. Really surprised. She always surprised him...just when he thought he had her all figured out, she'd surprise him again. That's one of the reasons he liked her. One of the many annoying reasons. And as she went on about how it would have been a bad idea, that annoyed him further, mostly because he wanted to go to bed with her. He wanted to kiss her again...those amazing kisses...perhaps the best ones he'd ever had. He wanted to take her clothes off...run his fingers through her hair. And standing there in front of him, like it was all no big deal, made it worse. Much worse.
"Yes, I didn't think you'd actually go there," he agreed. Only he had. And he'd been looking forward to her coming over....sleeping over. Oh, what was going on? Jasper was supposed to be an ass. He was supposed to be that guy that didn't care. And he liked being that guy. He'd never been in a relationship before. He'd just had sex...lots and lots of sex and many different girls. He wasn't supposed to develop feelings for any of them and he never had...before.
Jasper took another sip of his champagne, downing the rest. "Maybe we should call you a cab now. I'd let you use the car, but Riley has it for the night." He stood up and picked up the phone on the table. "Call them yourself or get the front desk to do it for you, I don't care," he said. "I'm tired anyway. I think I've had enough celebrating."

"Please...two single people sharing a bed, and they are of the opposite sex, my father would have a field day.He would be ready to have the talk with me and I do not want that. Its too embarrassing to even think about." Aly shivered at the idea of her dad trying to talk about the birds and the bees. Eww gross. Although Aly had been looking forward to it. She lied about the part of it being a bad idea. "But we already established that its a bad idea." She told him as she finished her champagne. Aly felt so rejected. Why? Why was he rejecting her?
Aly was sure they would keep celebrating, but then Jasper handed her the phone and she felt even more rejected. Aly put the phone down. "I have a cell phone I can use, and I would not have needed your car anyway. I have taken a cab before. I don't mind them. But I am feeling oddly sober." Aly commented as she smoothed out her outfit for a moment.
Aly grabbed her purse and headed for the door. She paused at the door and turned to look at Jasper. "I am glad you don't care. It's so nice of you. If you are so tired, maybe you should go to bed now. Get some sleep. All this planning for the prank. I understand how tiring that can be." Her voice was sharp and you could hear a hint of anger in it. He did not care. Something about those words got to her.
She knew he meant them about how the cab was called, but still, the words hurt. She figured he would care how she got home. She figured Jasper would make sure the front desk gave her a reliable cab and not some cab with a drive that could easily take advantage of a drunk girl. Perhaps she was over reacting.
"I guess I will see you around." Aly raised an eye brow as she opened the door to his hotel room and walked out of it, the door slamming behind her. She felt so hurt. Aly actually wanted to cry. She knew driving was not in her best interest and she did not want to take a cab they were gross.
Instead Aly went to the front desk and rented a room for the night. Cause she could not go home, but she requested the room be as far away from Jasper's as possible. Stupid Jasper. More like Stupid Aly for liking a guy like Jasper.
