“Well, it’s a bit more than just nice, but you’ll understand when you go there. I won’t spoil the surprise for you, but I assure you, I’m already considering a second visit very soon.” Tyler grinned, speaking of the jazz club. It was the perfect place for him really. It had a prime location, in a street where it was certainly the most noteworthy attraction, and yet still close to good real estate, like the beach. The female dancers were all beautiful, with bodies to match, and yet the show never crossed that thin line from tasteful to sleazy. The interior was well designed, the wait staff certainly capable of doing their jobs efficiently. All in all, the club was classy, just the perfect establishment for a man of his calibre to frequent, without minding being seen there. Aly had gotten him onto a good thing. Not to mention he noticed that more than one dancer certainly seemed interested in him the night before, so if for nothing else, that certainly merited another visit. “In fact, it would be my pleasure to take you there sometime.”
“I apologise for the misunderstanding. I really should be more careful about listening to the whispers that go around the school.” he admitted cheerily, Mel’s explanation of her relationship with Judd matching what he knew of the woman perfectly. “I did find it hard to believe, he does seem a little rough around the edges, and by far not someone worthy of you. No offence to your work with him, I admit, you have done wonders. But I know you can do much better than him.”
The smile snaked across his lips at Mew’s assumption on Melodee’s sexuality. Though she might have an interest in her own sex, which wouldn’t bother Tyler in the least (in fact, he would enjoy her all the more for that), he knew she wasn’t a lesbian, he could personally testify to that. “Yes, I know Mew, from the meetings, and he’s one of Maggy’s friends.” he explained, cursing himself for mentioning the girl, before quickly moving on. “I wonder how he got that impression? Well, never mind, you and I both know he’s quite wrong.” Tyler grinned conspiratorially at her.
He noticed that she wasn’t eating, and he glanced down at the plate before her, letting her know that he was very aware of that fact, before taking a few grapes himself. “Well, you do sound busy. But now Mel, I thought you knew me better than that.” he smirked. “I wasn’t suggesting dating, you know I’m the last person to suggest that institution. But, with you being so busy, it won’t hurt for you to have an option, an outlet to let out all that stress. Though, I’m always available.” Especially if he could get the girl to eat, get some meat back on her bones, so to speak. His flings with her had always been very enjoyable.
The mention of graduation, and what was to come after it, made him sigh. “Ah yes, graduation. I’d really like a break from all that preparation.” he admitted. “I mean, I’m sure I’ll enjoy the experience, but, currently, I’d much rather focus on enjoying myself now.”
