Bree's knees buckled in relief after Tyler came over to help. She knew Sloane cared, but she didn't know how much this meant to Bree, she also didn't know how little it took to turn a social event sour and when it was a charitable event that could make or break the charity . "Thank you, Tyler, you're my savior," She said and lifted up on her toes to brush his lips with hers and hugged him tightly. She even gave him a discrete pat on the ass which was very unlike her, but she knew he would like it and as she was very grateful, she stepped out of her comfort zone to please him.

Sarissa had no idea what she had done. it had seriously been innocent. had she known she was trying to keep Nolan and May from knowing about each other she would not have said a word. Although juggling multiple people was not Sarissa's style, she would never speak again someone who would be with multiple people. Sarissa had no right to judge. To each his own in her mind. She felt kind of bad for starting something. Before Sloane left Sarissa whispered to Sloane, and only Sloane, "Sorry, didn't mean to start anything." She gave the girl a soft smile.
Sarissa did not like making enemies. It was not something she wanted. She was a very friendly person. She was just a tease. Sarissa was far from a slut, but she knew she acted like one. Not that she cared. She turned to Tyler when he spoke to her. "A light lunch. Okay...I will remember that. I am curious what you have up your sleeve Durnham." She told him turning on her charm. She gave him a flirtatious smile.
"Bree this is a lovely brunch. I have a check just let me know where to drop it off for you." Sari believed in charity and giving back. She had a lot to give back and she wanted to help. Sari loved helping out. She was an avid volunteer for habitat for humanity, and Big Sister, Little sister, which was a mentor program.
When Bree kissed Tyler Sari took a step back. It was one thing to know Tyler was a player, but another thing to see it. To actually see Tyler with a sweet girl like Bree, granted Sari did not know Bree, but from what she heard Bree was a very sweet girl. Plus anyone who set up a brunch like this must be a sweet girl....anyway Sari felt bad flirting with Tyler and making plans if Bree was one of the girls he was seeing. She could not do that to a girl with such a good heart. Although Sari never slept with a guy in a relationship anyway. Thats whys she knew she would continue to say no to Tyler. or so she hoped she could continue to say no.
Sari hated being the other woman, open relationship or not. Although there was a first time for everything, but still. The five guys Sari had slept with had been boyfriends at the time. The guys she teased she never slept with.
"Ummm...I will leave you and your date alone. Sorry. Umm... and maybe we should reschedule tomorrow for another time, Tyler....I am sure your time would be better spent with your girlfriend. " Sari had heard rumors of Tyler dating some girl, but it was an open relationship, but still..to talk about their plans...in front of the girlfriend was tacky and Sari was not like that. Hence she said to reschedule. "Have a nice time, you both.....such a cute couple...bye." She told the couple. Sari still had no idea the girlfriend was Maggy, not Bree, but the kiss made them look like a couple. Sari turned to leave.
Wrapped for Sarissa
(OOC: sorry I just had to throw a wrench in Tylers plans with Sarissa. Plus I thought it would be funny, for Sari to think Bree was the girl he is rumored to be with. But if Tyler wants to attempt to get things back on for Sunday....then Sari has an open tag for lunch unless Tyler has plans....lol)

Nolan stood in silence. He hadn't been quite sure what May had meant at first, but she had seemed quite upset. He wasn't even quite sure what Sarissa had meant when she said she saw the two “in each other's arms.” Did they hug or something? He didn't know Sloane and May were close, though they were both good friends of Bree. The one thing his did know was that Sloane was his girlfriend, his, and she had his ring to prove it.
He started to feel a little tense, however, when Bree seemed to appear out of nowhere looking very concerned. May's outburst must have caused a distraction. The lithe redhead pulled Sloane away, again puzzling Nolan. Whatever Sloane had done to piss May off, Bree must have known.
The look on Sloane's face when she returned cemented in Nolan's mind that something was wrong not just between Sloane and May, but between the lot of them. The only answer was obvious, but Nolan didn't want to accept it. She had agreed! They had slept together! Twice! He had been with her the last two nights, when did she see May last?
He did his best to stay calm, but Tyler's arrival nearly put him over the edge. What business did he have in this mess? Sloane had sworn he was only a friend, and that nothing had ever transpired between the two. Sadly, her reputation seemed to be more true than Nolan had hoped to believe. She was a heartbreaker, a man (and woman) eater, just the type to go for a guy like Tyler. Nolan instantly hated the guy.
Still, that wasn't fair. She had messed up, the look on her face when their eyes had met made that painfully clear. But perhaps there was a decent explanation. Deep in his heart, Nolan hoped there was something the girl he had spent the last couple weeks practically pining over could do or say that would convince him everything was okay.
He barely listened to the rest of the group anymore, his focus became Sloane. She led the trio outside, leaving Bree and Tyler to get the brunch on pace once again. The sky, still grey, more than matched Nolan's current mood. Before the small gathering could come to a halt, Nolan spoke. His voice was monotone and emotionless, strong, nothing like the normally quiet voice he used most often. The question was directed at his girlfriend.
“Can you please explain what the hell is going on?”

Things couldn't get any more complicated. Tyler's appearance just further fueled the anger Sloane saw in Nolan's expression. She appreciated how Tyler had become this Prince Charming to Bree and the kiss Bree gave him only further proved how her best friend had really fallen for the handsome player, but he couldn't have done it at a better time, she thought scathingly. Surprisingly before she left, Sarissa had given her a little smile with that little apology and Sloane couldn't help but see some potential in them after all. If things went according to her dream, Sloane was going to find herself needing company. She couldn't let this get the best of her and she wouldn't. But for now, she needed to explain herself to the two people that had given her the best of both worlds.
But being alone with the two of them now looking angry as all hell, Sloane found that she couldn't open her mouth to explain. It wasn't exactly fear that was crippling the redheaded track runner but it was something akin to that feeling. She found that she didn't want to lose one of them. The question was...who? No doubt the two of them had already drawn their conclusion about her and her explanation of things would definitely not help matters any because in the end, Sloane was the bad guy - or in her case girl - Bree and Tyler had inadvertantly painted her out to be.
So she decided to just get on with it, rip it off like a bandaid. What was going to happen next, she didn't know but she had to at least tell them the truth. She didn't know why but she felt she owed them that much.
"The explanation's simple." She started, looking at Nolan and then at May. "I've been with both of you at the same time and I should be sorry but frankly I'm not. I like both of you and it's obvious both of you like me so I thought what the hell. There's no rule book stating I should be faithful to someone I'm not tied to in black and white." She was digging a deeper hole for herself and she knew it but she wasn't about to stop. Why bother lying? Both of them were already thinking the same thing and they've been proven right anyway. Lying would just make it worse.
"Nolan," Sloane turned to face him, however painful it was to see his face right then. "I started going with you because I thought you'd be a fun lay. And trust me, you are. I guess I should have just told you that from the beginning. And for that I am actually really sorry."
She then turned to May and gave her a little smile. "You must think I'm a right bitch for leading you on. But I wasn't. I really like you. You're...you're beautiful and really smart and well...you're an amazing kisser and I just wanted you to feel comfortable with being yourself.
"I'm not trying to say that I thought I was helping both of you come out of your shell. I was being selfish and I was thinking about myself mostly and I am really not sorry for that." She wanted to continue and say that she was sorry that this would ruin her chances of being anything to either of them but it couldn't just come out. She didn't know why so she just let it go. But it gnawed at her insides as she looked to both of them, wondering what they could possibly think of her now.

“You hear that Bree? We’re apparently a cute couple.” Tyler chuckled. “But really, people should know better. It’s highly unlikely that you would be my girlfriend. After all, I like you far too much to put you through that ordeal. And you could do much better.” Grinning, he pressed a kiss to her temple, as a brother might do to his sister. “But the kiss, and the pat, greatly appreciated.”
What wasn’t as appreciated was Sari cancelling their plans. He put too much thought into that plan, his attempts to finally win her over, dissolve her will to say no to him. Constantly. He wouldn’t let her get away so easily now. No, as far as he was concerned, their plans were still very much on.
He glanced around quickly for Mew, coming up empty. If Bree really wanted to put herself through dating someone so...substandard, he believed the least the guy could do is support her through a time such as this. But no, it looked as if it had fallen to him again. The nice guy act really didn’t fit him all that well, but he did what he must.
“As I was saying, here’s my father and I’s contribution Bree. But anything else you need, let me know.” He pulled out a cheque for $100,000, handing it over to her. “So, all in all, I think this brunch was quite a success. You’ve done a lot of good.” Of course, he couldn’t hide the old Tyler so easily, and a lazy smile lit his face. “And Bree, you happen to be looking gorgeous this morning. Mew must consider himself lucky.”

"There's not a rule book," May repeated, the world suddenly blurred by tears. She couldn't believe she was hearing this. She'd tried to dismiss Sloane's reputation, give the other girl the benefit of the doubt because that's the kind of person she was. She wanted to trust people, and had wanted to believe the best of someone nobody else would have trusted.
"I asked if you were with him." She gestured furiously toward Nolan, fighting a growing hysteria. "You said you weren't. That's not lying by omission, that's outright lying. And you're not even sorry!" Not as if she would have believed Sloane if she'd tried to apologize, but the fact the other girl wouldn't even admit that she ought to was almost more upsetting than the fact that she'd been lied to. But only almost.
May was normally calm, collected, in control of her emotions. Right now she was none of these things, too shaken up by Sloane's exposure. Before she knew what she was doing she'd slapped the other girl across the face. "I can't believe I ever listened to you! I thought you stayed behind Thursday because you were a good person. How did you think I wouldn't find out about this? And you still agreed to meet tomorrow! You had to know we'd find out about this today, you knew I'd be here and you showed up with him anyway!"
OOC: of course, Nu, if you want Sloane to dodge the slap this is okay with me.

Nolan's first reaction was to turn to May. “I'm sorry, I didn't know. I-” He didn't know if there was anything else to say other than to apologize again, so he shut his mouth and turned back to Sloane. May was much more obvious with her emotions, but just because Nolan wasn't tearing up didn't mean that he was hurt by this revelation. He knew he had to keep a calm head, however, or he might just explode on Sloane. As angry as he was, however, he knew that wouldn't help anything.
“So let me get this straight,” he said, glaring at the girl that he thought until just minutes before was his girlfriend. “You like her, but you just used me for my dick. That's...” He tried to think of the right word, but he was a quarterback, not a poet. “Shit. That's shit.”
May's revelation of Sloane's lie hurt Nolan the most. She had straight up lied and said they weren't dating? Was she wearing his ring around her neck at the time? Just the thought of the piece of jewelry turned Nolan's stomach. There was no way he wanted it back after this. He'd just tell his dad he lost it and get a new one made.
The slap was unexpected, and Nolan thought unnecessary. What good would it do? Sloane seemed so uncaring about the whole thing, it was unlikely that a slap would change her mind. Plus, he was always raised to never hit a girl. Anger and aggression was for the field. It did help Nolan realize that there was nothing to be done here anymore. He hurt. He hurt a lot, and standing here listening to more lies wouldn't help. He took one last glance at the Four Seasons, then looked back at Sloane. Bitter words were on his tongue, but his demeanor never swayed.
The tall, athletic boy turned and began walking away. He would deal with his emotions on his own, as he always had.

Bree barely heard what Sarissa said as all her focus was on the trio in conflict. She was relieved when they took it into one of the rooms, but Bree cared about Sloane and May. They had both looked very upset when they left. If only May had talked to her about Sloane previously Bree would have warned her. Sloane was a wonderful friend and she loved her dearly, but she knew what she was like and like Tyler she would never put her heart in either one of them's hands. It would be like asking to be cheated on. She had crushed on Tyler for the longest time and had even considered trying to make it work anyway, but she had been hurt too much already in her short life and she knew she was near the breaking point. That was why she had chosen Mew. He was very unlikely to cheat on her even if he wasn't really in love with her."You're lucky we aren't a couple, Tyler. I would never put up with you cheating on me with Sari. You would be in the fountain right now. Maggy needs to wake up and smack you around some. You're lucky she likes you, Tyler and you should be showing her you're grateful for that instead of chasing after Sari." Bree said, her green eyes flashing at her dear friend.

[OOC: No way in hell the beeyotch can dodge a slap. She deserves it. LOL]
After years of doing things like this, breaking people's hearts left and right without feeling even a tinge of guilt, Sloane didn't know why seeing May crying was making her stomach churn. And Nolan's almost helpless expression was too much for Sloane, she could feel her heart start to squeeze in. Of course, the redhead was a master of controlling her emotions and this time was no exception except for the little frown that had appeared in between her eyebrows.
"I didn't lie about not being with him at the time." Sloane admitted, "We hadn't made it official yet at the time." Of course, she knew that wouldn't make any difference in the world because it still made her look like the bitch she was. It can't be helped that she was attracted to two people at the same time.
The slap came unexpectedly and Sloane's cheek stung hard. She bit her lower lip from gasping out. Leaving a few seconds off from turning back to May, Sloane tried to calm herself down. She should have expected all this. It was truly inevitable. She'd gone through this a hundred times. Possibly more and she never even twitched so why was she feeling awful this time?
She hit a snag when May pointed out the fact that they would have found out eventually. Sloane didn't have an answer to that and she took a deep breath before pushing her hair away from her face to look at Nolan with a calm look on her face. "I did like you and not just because of that. I like both of you and I took my time with both of you. I spent time I would have used to do other things just to get to know you. I'm not trying to redeem myself but you have to give me credit for that." She took a deep breath and shook her head slowly.
When Nolan started to leave, Sloane had mixed feelings of letting him go but she decided she'd had enough of this drama. It's their own faults that they gave her the benefit of the doubt, she tried to reason with herself. She didn't need to feel guilty about screwing over two people who can't deal with being the other person in Sloane's life.
She closed her eyes before turning to May and opening them. "Guess this changes our plans for tomorrow." She tried to chuckle but she felt like choking. She had to get a hold of herself. She wasn't going to let anyone get the best of her.

Sloane was his friend, and when a friend was going through a rough patch, it was only right to feel for them. And Tyler did feel bad for her, but he couldn’t help being a little amused by the whole situation too. Sloane would have been laughing at him if the situation was reversed, so it was only fair. He wasn’t expecting though, Sloane’s circumstances to make Bree turn on him.
“Hey, what brought all this on?” he chuckled, just a hint of alarm in his eyes, but otherwise looking his calm and collected self. “Maggy and I are not a couple. Well, not exclusively. And it was an arrangement she suggested, I can’t help it if it suits me. So, going out with Sari, or any other woman for that matter, is not cheating. Besides, you know me well Bree, if I tried to be in an exclusive relationship, I’d stray by the end of the week. This way, everyone knows what to expect from me, no one is hurt, and, as far as I’m aware, everyone is left satisfied. Maybe one day I’ll want a relationship, but for now, things are fine as they are.”
As close as they were, Tyler didn’t appreciate having to explain himself to Bree, but he supposed, she was only trying to look out for him, in her way. “I’m well aware that I’m lucky to have Maggy though.” he smiled, only realising he wasn’t lying the moment he spoke her words. “And, as a matter of fact, I do have something planned for her. It’s her birthday on Monday, I’ve managed to find out, though she’s seemingly been trying to hide it from me. I think I’ve managed to find just the perfect gift for her. It wasn’t easy.”
