Haley had to admit sometimes she did wonder why she was with Cam. Perhaps it was because he was not like the other guys she dated. Not like Brent, that jack ass from her past. She knew Cam would never cheat, leave, or make her get back into heavy drinking, drugs and partying, which is what Haley was staying away from. Since dating Cam she had yet to do any. Sure she went to normal high school parties and drank, but the parties she use to go to were crazier and much more dangerous. Thats why this was perfect really. Cam kept Haley's head on straight.
She might not love him...yet, but Haley was confident she could grow to love her little geek. If she did not do something stupid and lose him first, like taking advantage of him, like she did just now...yeah that would need to change. Sometimes old habits did die hard. "You not come over anymore, why I don't think that would ever happen. But you have a point. I have corrupted you plenty...of course there always is more I could do." Haley said with a sparkle in her eye. Her words were meant to sound mysterious.
When Haley first asked about the summer, she had not meant for it to be a serious discussion. She had meant for it to just be something to bring up and then talk about later. In Haley's mind they had plenty of time before Cam left for college an she got stuck for another year.
"I never thought about it. I mean I am only a junior, so college is like totally next year. Although I know I am suppose to be applying now, but you...its like just college..." Haley had to sometimes try and remember to break her dumb blond mode when she was alone with Cam. It was how she acted in school. No one knew how truly smart she was cause she always faked being dumb cause it was just easier.
Haley shook her head a moment, "I mean, I am not sure. I was considering NYU, Princeton, Columbia....but i have not really made a decision about college yet..I know I should go, but just not sure what I would go for..." She told him. "What about MIT? Where is it located?"

Cameron really had not idea what kind of things that Haley had been into before they met. He knew she partied, but he'd seen her at parties...well, at his party...and she hadn't drank very much. Even if she did, he didn't think it was too big of a deal. After all, most high school students drank. Cam kind of wanted to but didn't want to embarrass himself by drinking too much in front of everyone else. The boys night coming up that Tyler was planning came to mind. He'd have to take it much slower than the other boys because he was sure they had much higher tolerances for him.
Cam bit down on his bottom, sucking on it a little when she mentioned about ways she corrupt him more. How else could she possibly corrupt him? They'd already had sex....Cam was still too innocent to realize what else they could possibly do. He smiled. "Well, I guess you're just going to have to show me then," he said leaning in and brushing his lips against her's with another kiss. He loved kissing Haley. He loved doing everything with Haley...but he could probably kiss her all day and be satisfied.
"Yeah...I figured," he said quietly when she said she hadn't thought about it too much. He'd been thinking about college since he'd started high school...maybe even before that. He'd always kind of wanted to go to MIT and study math...but now that it was actually possible, he didn't want to leave Haley even more. He smiled when she mentioned NYU, Princeton and Columbia. BYU and Columbia were in New York and Princeton in Jersey. Not terribly close to Boston, but much closer than California. But could Haley get into those schools? Cameron knew that Haley was smarter than she let on at school, but even he didn't know if she was that smart. But he wasn't going to admit that to her so he smiled. "Those are really good schools," he said. "MIT is in Boston," he said. "But I'll probably defer. I could use a year off," he said, glancing over at Haley to gauge her reaction to it all. "Is it too soon to be talking about college and stuff?" he asked, not really liking the thought of it all. It made him queasy like he was trying to decide between Haley and his future.

Haley smiled when Cam kissed her. This was different. The first time she had a relationship that did not involve getting high and drinking to have fun. Instead the fun was more....fun. Plus she could actually remember it. Haley kissed him back, her laughter rang through the air. He was adorable. She would have to show him. She could show him a lot, but she also had to be careful. Haley was not sure she wanted to corrupt Cam, if she did it was in a fun way. Like maybe skipping school just one day to have fun, or sneaking into a movie without paying. Innocent fun, that she had forsaken for her party days.
"Well for starters, I say there is a pool here that needs to be used...so maybe skinny dipping?" She said with a wide smile, then flipped them so his body was more on top of hers. "I think I like this position." Haley enjoyed this. Times when she could be silly and fun loving. Sure she had her issues to work on, who didn't, but this was going good. she was not bored and Cam was surprising her more and more.
"Technically its never too early, but no one said we had to have a serious talk about yet. That can wait." Haley was not looking for a serious talk. She would rather avoid them. Serious talks just hurt the mood. She would rather play it by ear, which was not always a good idea. Haley had a feeling she could at least get into NYU, and Columbia. Princeton might be harder, but Haley was much smarter then she let on so, it really all depended on her SAT scores. Which last time she checked, were pretty damn good. "Besides I am sure if you think hard enough there are always ways to shut me up..." Her words had a teasing sense to them.
See with Cam it was more about having fun. Sure the sex was good, he was still new at it, but their relationship did not revolve around it, and thats what mattered. They could hopefully lay like this in bed and make out for a while before anything else happened. Although Haley did feel the need to hide her past from Cam. She was not sure he could handle it.

"Mmmm I like the sound of that," Cameron said with a smile, giving Haley another quick kiss. Sure, Cam was still new to the whole sex thing, but he was still a guy, and he wasn't going to turn down a chance to see Haley naked again. He still couldn't believe she was all his. It was so surreal. She pulled him on top of her and commented on liked the position. "Me too," Cam said, "but then again I like any position with you," he grinned.
Cam was glad when she said they didn't have to talk about college yet, mostly because it was a topic and seriously stressed him out. He was willing to stay back in California an extra year for Haley. He was willing to pick a school based on where she wanted to go. But he wasn't sure that she was ready to hear all that. He knew very well that he was farther along feelings wise in the relationship. That's kind of what happens when one person (Cam) is pining over the other person (Haley) for months before the other person even realized they like the first person at all....right? It made sense to him, and he was smart, so he definitely wasn't letting his feelings cloud his judgments...he wouldn't do that...right? Truth be told, Cam didn't know anymore. He'd probably do more than he even realized all for the sake of Haley. He was whipped and she hadn't even asked him to do much.
"Ways to shut you up," Cam said slowly as if he was thinking about it. He leaned in and kissed her, "You mean like this?" he whispered in-between kisses. This was fun. Cam had never been involved in any of the other stuff Haley had been into. He didn't even have a clue what most of that was. If Haley told him the truth about her past he probably wouldn't have believed it? Why would he? He knew Haley partied but as far as he knew she just drank and everyone in high school drank...well most people at least. Haley was like his perfect little angel, as far as he knew or cared, she'd always been that way.
"So...should we go swimming? As much as I'd love to just lay here all night, I am going to have to go home at some point to work on this password thing," he pointed out.
