Fallon liked the silence. It was nice. She was glad he was finally calming down. Fallon did not like to see Sebastian freak out. It was sad and hurt her heart. Fallon smiled at his peck and then took him up on his offered hand. She laughed as he helped her up and lead her down stairs, "I am so hungry, I forgot about lunch. You really had me scared." She told him softly and gave him another quick hug as they walked into the kitchen.
"What in the world am I making." She said laughing as Sebastian told her what to do. Fallon barely cooked. She was a microwave expert, but this was different, but she did not mind helping. It was fun. Until she felt something smash against her face. There was something wet running down her chin. Fallon slowly turned around and eyed Sebastian.
She looked at him for a moment before throwing some cheese at him and laughing. "You have something in your hair." She said all innocent like and started to run around the kitchen throwing other food items at Sebastian. "You can't catch me..." She laughed as she started to run around the house this time. Fallon was having so much fun. She was glad Sebastian seemed to be happier now.
Poor kid. He went through so much. Fallon just wanted to be his friend. Be that person he needed to lean on. She was glad she met him that day at the park clean up. Of course there was still much Fallon had to learn, but she would help....she would be the support he needed.

Sighing in exasperation, Shayne promptly picked up where the two teens had left off, stirring the grated cheese into the rich tomato soup simmering on the stove top. Adding a hint of basil and half a cup of water, the older woman also took the time to check up on the two baguettes baking inside the oven.
"Kids.." called Shayne, pulling the bread out from the oven.
Delighted giggles from the adjacent room could easily be heard, accentuated with the occasional squeak.
"Dinner's almost ready.."
As she set the table for three, Shayne nevertheless felt a slight twinge of sadness grip at her heart. The very thought that a boy such as Sebastian could have been subjected to years of that sort of abuse was almost unthinkable, and was already beginning to gnaw away at the back of her mind. People forced though that sort of thing understandably were scarred by their experience, and would obviously need some sort of therapy or counseling to help heal the shattered emotions in the long term.
Peeking her head into the living room, she happened to spot both Sebastian and Fallon rolling around the carpet in a whimsical romp, each teen trying to tickle the other into submission on the thick shag rug. It was a very cute sight, especially with these two.
"All right, young lovers.." spoke Shayne, amusement clearly noticeable. "Enough necking now and come to dinner.. That soup'll go cold without the pair of you."
Sebastian grinned ecstatically, nudging Fallon with an elbow.
"H-Hey.. Fallon." quipped Sebastian, springing up from the ground with surprising finesse.
"Y-You sh-should sp-spend the night.."
Shayne raised an eye in shock at the boldness of the proposition, and took a few steps back to catch her breath.
Staying the night? Good lord! He is getting quite ahead, isn't he?
As a fellow woman herself, she knew firsthand how Fallon's mother would feel about having her daughter spend the night at some boy's house whom she had never met. After all, with the sheer amount of sex present in American popular culture, who in their right mind would allow a beautiful young teenage girl like Fallon to sleep over at a handsome, wealthy kid's house?
Shayne could already imagine Fallon's parents writhing away at the very thought.
Still.. The older woman could plainly see that her son was in quite a fragile state from the weight of today's affairs, and seemed to calm down in the presence of this particular girl. Knowing Sebastian, she severely doubted that any sort of naughtiness would ensue from the occasion, and -- when coupled with an already scheduled visit to the psychiatrist's office in the morning -- also doubted that allowing Fallon to spend the night would be a terrible thing.
"Yeah.." added Shayne in agreement, crossing her fingers hopefully. "It would be an absolute pleasure for us to have someone new in the house overnight.. and with that visit scheduled for Dr. Van Maren tomorrow.. I'm sure it'd also be great to have Fallon come along.."
"What do you think, Fallon?"
