Natalie tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear. Her curls were pulled back into a low messy bun, but some stay curls framed her face. She was still figuring out her place in this school, although she'd met some really cool people so far. That Bree girl had been really nice and although Nat hadn't really gotten a chance to talk to her since their first meeting, she still planned to attend her brunch the next day. And Zach was turning out to be a great partner in home ec. He really helped her out with the cooking and she was helping him out with the sewing. Sewing wasn't exactly a passion of hers like cooking was his, but she'd learned to sew when she was a little kid and was pretty good at it. But still, it was times like lunch when Natalie still felt a little lost. Who was she supposed to sit with. Sometimes she'd find someone from one of her classes but sometimes it was so crowded that it was impossible to find anyone. Today was one of those days. And the lunch looked beyond gross. Natalie tried to remember to bring her own lunch but most mornings she didn't really have the time and she never remembered to do it before bed so it would be ready the next day. So with no one to eat with and nothing she wanted to eat, Natalie decided to head off campus. She wasn't old enough to drive yet and her form of transportation to and from school was usually her mother, occasionally the bus, so Nat would have to go somewhere close by. She headed outside and past the parking lot, looking for something good. Tag any

It was nice to get back out into the sun after the lunch bell rang, he hadn't brought himself lunch in, so he needed to go out. But he knew of a good deli/sandwich shop near by the school, it was close enough for him not to have to get into his car to reach it and get back before the lunch hour was over. As much as he loved his car, he was getting tired of the backache that it would give him when he drove it. He was currently in the process of looking for something else, he hadn't told his parents this of course, they would hit the roof if they knew he was looking for a new car.
Brad hummed to himself as he walked out through the parking lot not really paying attention to where he was walking, he wanted to get to the shop and back quickly so he would have time to actually eat the food he brought. As a diabetic he knew that he needed regular meals on time, so he was pushing it a little lately. So little was he paying attention to where he was walking, and owing to the pace he wast setting he had the misfortune of walking straight into some one in front of him at pace. The impact sent him backwards.
"Crap, are you okay?" he asked.

As Natalie walked, she paused to look around. She normally didn't pay attention to what was around the school since she only went to the building for classes. She didn't really hang around the area before or after school at all. It was then that someone walked right into her. Ouch...
Natalie turned around to look at the boy that had rammed into her. It did hurt a little but it wasn't like it was so bad she needed to go to the nurse or anything like that. She knew that it would pass. So she forced a smile to let him know she was alright. "I'm good. It's alright," she said, still smiling. Natalie after all was always nice and always polite to everyone.
"Where were you going in such a hurry anyway?" she asked curiously. No one else seemed to be exiting the building rapidly so it wasn't a fire drill or anything like that. Plus it was the middle of the day and even those who were going off campus for lunch still had plenty of time to get their lunch and return and have time to eat before the bell rang, ending the period.

Brad blushed furiously as he realized he had managed to knock into a girl, "Sorry about that, I was of to get lunch, I know of a nice little deli near by but its a bit of a rush to get there and back and still have time to eat what I buy on foot anyway. Its not so much about getting there, its the que while your waiting. Someone has let the cat out the bag on one of the best held secrets this town has. Now you have every Tom Dick and Harry going in there, darn shame, you used to be able to sit and eat lunch without any one bothering you. Now well you get the idea." he said to her he was starving, he hadn't eaten much this morning which wasn't a very good idea for him anyway.
"Are you sure your okay?" he asked thinking he should have just taken his car to get food, or just gone with having food from the cafetria, now his lunch would likely be ruined by someone who could get irate at him at any moment. Of course he was hopeful that wouldn't happen but didn't hold much hope it wouldn't happen. He kept his smile on his face however and wondered whether the girl would talk to him or blow his head of. Presumably he thought the girl was out to get food like so many of the students did come lunch time.

"Oh I see," Natalie said simply. The pain from the collision was already wearing off and Natalie wasn't the type to yell or make a scene. "I was on my way to look for lunch," she admitted, "but I'm not sure if the place you are talking about is a good or a bad idea," she said. "Is it really so much better than everywhere else around here that its worth the wait?" she asked curiously. Although Natalie was pretty much a good girl, she didn't mind so much if it caused her to be a little late going back, she supposed. She didn't think the teacher she had would mind so much, especially since she was always on time.
"I'm fine," she said, offering him another smile to convince him of it. "It was just and accident, really," she assured him. "Feel free to go run and get your lunch now, if you want. If it is that important, I don't want to get in your way." Unlike he seemed to be, Natalie decided that she wasn't in a rush, even if she did end up happening upon this deli that he spoke of. So if he was in such a rush, she figured she'd let him go, run off, even though she sort of was curious about just where this famous deli was, and was pretty sure she wanted to try it. She could look for herself or if she didn't find it she could always ask around and see if anyone else at school knew about it, from the way he talked, it sounded like they would anyway. So she wouldn't detain him any longer, Natalie decided, being her polite self as usual.

Brad grinned at her, "Oh its a good idea, its just a bit of a rush to get what you want. The place I usually go to is well its not fine cuisine, but its pretty tasty stuff anyway and pretty cheap at that so I guess people who work on a budget go there for the cheap food." Brad said with a grin. "It's only about five minutes walk from here, so I'm not actually in a rush to get there so much as I am in a rush to eat." Brad said to her. "I didn't eat a good breakfast this morning, I ran out of time before I left the house. I also forgot my kit this morning so I don't know what my levels are, which actually could be quite dangerous if I don't eat some time soon." Brad added. "Thus the rush." he said.
"If your up for it and you have a better suggestion thats less packed, I could definitely use the company, lunch will be so dull without some company." he said to her with a shrug glad that he wasn't being shouted at by the girl, he felt a bit more comfortable with being himself, not usually a problem for him anyway. Embarrassment could do funny things to people he guessed. "If you don't mind the company that is." he added.
