There was nothing to really say about Valentine's day. It ended in a very interesting way. Trixie actually spent the night at some guys house. She was usually the love em and leave em type. She would get what she wanted and then ditch out calling her brother for a ride. Only this time, no such thing happened. She actually stayed the entire night at DJ's place. Which resulted in very little sleep and nice repeat performance, but either way when she woke up it was in his bed. Thank god she had a change of clothes in her car.
She rode to school with DJ and then ran to her car for clothes. She did not even think to check her cell phone or else she would find some very irritated messages from her brother. Who at the moment was on a rampage to find her. It was practically dead she she did not get to charge it the night before. It had like one bar left. She grabbed the clothes from her car and ran into the womens restroom and changed. She brushed her hair, re did her make up and used some emergency mouth wash she had in her purse.
Once she was done and satisfied that she looked semi decent for school she headed to her locker. Last night was different then she thought. DJ was actually damn good in the bedroom. Something she had not expected. Did it complicate things? Hell yeah it did. This sucked, because he wanted more, but there was no way she would be the first to budge. He would have to come to her. what made this even more fun and awkward was DJ had the locker right across from her....yay...just what she did not need. But Trixie was good at holding up her ice queen image. After all...it would take more then one night to break her.

Speechless.
Thats how DJ felt in the moring to wake up and find Trixie still there in his arms, she was beyond words last night. Granted she was the first girl he had ever been with but still it was just out of this world. The hard part was going to be like he didn't care as if she were just what she had said "a one night stand".
He headed down the hall, dressed in his leather. Wynn looked up and saw him coming down the hall, maybe that would win Haley away from Cam, he'd ask later he had to see Haley at her locker.
DJ saw Trixie at her locker, he took a deep breath and went over to his, intentionally ignoring her. He removed his vest (this time wearing a T Shirt that said 'How's Never? Does never work for you?") then his boots and chaps, now he was set for the day. If he could just hold up the facade he'd have her begging for him before the day was over. He grabbed his backpack from his locker and loaded up with the items needed for his first three classes. He closed it then leaned against it, looking at Trixie with a indifferent look.

Trixie felt eyes on the back of her head. She closed her locker and slowly turned around and smiled, "Can't get enough can you." She smirked. "You have to keep staring. Picturing whats underneath I bet." She smiled and slowly walked over. She leaned against the locker that was next to his. She read his shirt. "Never...right...you gave up never last night."
Trixie had to admit this was fun. The game. She did not mind talking and flaunting that it would be only one night. "I will admit your dog is quite the looker. How did he get such an ugly owner." She said with a cute little pouty face. "Poor dog." She laughed.
"Do me a favor and try not to stare too much. its embarrassing." She patted his chest play fully. "I know I rocked your world last night, but you will just have to get over me. Time to move on to a new guy." She winked and patted his chest once more and then got ready to walk away. "By the way i think you have a fan. Who was the dork that was staring at you?" she asked referring to Wynn, but of course she had no idea who he was. "Maybe you can give pointers about how it feels to be so lucky to have had me." She was cocky.

And the bantering was off. He started to laugh, one of those that start low and gradully comes rolling from the mouth. "I can stop, I saw what was underneath it all. To be honest, I've seen much better."
"Lets see if I'm so ugly why did you end up where you did last night?" His eyebrows arched. "I'm sure Doofus would have loved the company, after all he likes his bitches."
"Yeah I suppose it is, mainly for me. I mean your an underclassman, to even be SEEN with you could cause more drama than needed!" He grabbed her hand and kissed it. "Don't flatter yourself princess, yeah you were good but I've had much better." He looked at her and smiled. "I'm so over you, I just treated you nice today because I couldn't bear to see someone of your stature walking to school or *gasp* ride the bus, god forbid you should even step foot on public transportation." He didn't let go of her hand.
"Ahhh yes one of my many admirers, thats something that completely slipped my mind yesterday. I've got my own fan club. Not something just anyone can say." He was smug in his own right, there was no way he was going to lose this battle to her!

"I ended up where I did because you got me with the mystery man thing. As for seeing better, oh i know you are lying. i am the best you will see and ever have. You can bet on it." She winked. "As for you...well i can leave you. Beside you started first. My back was turned." She told him.
Trixie laughed, "I am a bitch no denying it. And you think that me being seen with you is a step up the ladder. I assure you honey I am at the top of that ladder so sadly you are mistaken. I am doing your rep a good deal. You just got boosted in popularity, you should be proud."
Just then her brother showed up. He had perfect timing almostm but he seeme dpissed. "Jay what the ehll?" She said in refercence to what the hell he was doing. Trixie did not removed her hand. She did not see the point. She was fine. Two could play their word game. He would come crawling back. She would count on it. And if not then they would keep up this witty banter. "Your own fan club consists of losers and gay men who think you will soon be one of them. To have someone as sexy as me is something right out of a dream. I was just happy to make your dream come true." She smiled again.

jay was beyond pissed. Trixie always came home. The only times she stayed out over night and never came home was when their father was alive and had beaten her. He called her all night and even looked for her. If she was going to stay out she should have said something. Jay was overprotective of Trixie, plus he was still suffering issues from the abuse.
So Trixie being out all night and not calling was a big No in his book. Grandma has not noticed but he did. Just like Trixie would have noticed as the tables turned. jay came to school early and still saw her car in the parking lot, which made him worry even more. This was not good. What if someone took her from the school. He walked very fast up the stairs on a hunt to find his sister. He checked he locker first but she had yet to show up.
So he checked the rest of the school, but finally came back round to her locker about half an hour later. By this time she was at DJ's locker and talking to him. jay rounded the corner and watched. She was okay. HE was happy. A wave of relief washed over him. Until he saw DJ take her hand. HE instantly grew angry. no one laid a finer on his sister. In Jays mind it was his father. The man that towered over him and his sister. Jay's mind went back to a dark place.
He marched over and pulled Trixie back lightly, not oughly at all and stood between the two. He eyed DJ first and then Trixie. "Were you with him last night? You should have called. I was worried sick about my sister. I had no idea who was doing what to you." He had been worried she had been beat. He looked at DJ, "You harm her again and you will pay." Yes he said harm, because to him this guy was a threat. Jay was having a PTSD moment. Something he suffered from but refused help for.

"Only in your dreams sweetheart, only in your dreams." He smirked. "And I wasn't staring at you I was just thinking of who was next on my list and you happen to be in view." He stood with his left foot crossing over his right.
"I know about the top of the ladder, its where I am. You should be thanking me for boosting you up." He moved in close to her. "A word to the wise though, you need to watch yourself, there will always be someone ready to send you down that ladder." He wanted to kiss her right there but fought off the urge.
"MY fan club consist of guys who don't really know where else to go for tips on how to handle shrews like you." He grinned a devilish grin.
DJ was taken by surprise by Trixie's brother. "Hey ease up there, she was safe." DJ tried to diffuse the situation which only boiled up again. "Excuse me? Did you just threaten me?" His eyes narrowed at the boy. "You'd think you were her father or something with the way you carried on like that." He had no idea about the past of either kid otherwise he wouldn't have walked on the thin ice that was cracking like mad.

Trixie really was enjoying the witty banter. It was fun, but would not last long. She could not help it if she had a come back for everything he said. She should walk away, but Trixie always had to have the last word. "It was your dreams. Your fan club will never be able to handle a woman like me, so you better dash their hopes now." She smiled.
Trixie followed his lead and took a step closer, "I might be a shrew but you are a dreamer. You live in a fantasy world that soon you will be knocked out of. No one will knock me down." She winked and moved in to tempt him to kiss her. But that was stopped the moment Jay showed up and pulled her back.
She eyed her brother, "don't. I mean it. Don't start. Not this again. I am sorry I did not call, but this is harmless bro please." Yet it did not seem to work. She eyed DJ. God the poor guy had no idea why he was about to get the verbal beat down her brother would give. She stepped closer to her brother, "just walk away."
When DJ said the word dad she knew where to stand. Trixie moved back in front of DJ and face Jay, "Go. He did not mean it and you know it. He is not dad and neither are you. You are not dad. Now go. Please." But she knew that would not work.....not yet.

Jay was furious. This guy dare talk to him that way. How dare he even try this shit again. Jay killed him...he was dead. So why was he back. That's how Jays mind was working. He was reliving an experience he could not deal with, "what the hell did you say to me? You better believe I am threatening you. No one harms my sister. No one will never hurt her again. I will make sure of it."
When DJ said the part about him being her father it got his blood boiling even more, "you are nothing. So do not test me. I am not her father. I am her brother. I am suppose to protect her from idiotic guys like you. Once who want nothing more then to throw her away like she is trash. You hurt her and then expect it all to be okay."
Jay clenched his fists, "out of the way Trix. I made a promise. He would never hurt you again. I promised he would never lay a finger on you, me or mom again. I won't let him do this. I won't let him harm either of us again." Yes Jay was repeating the word again. Yet he had never even met DJ before. However, that did not matter in his mind. In Jays mind the moment Trix stayed out all night it brought back memories he tried to bury a long time ago. Memories long forgotten. Jay was not talking to DJ but to their father. Trixie knew this and as long as she stood in the middle there would be no fight.

"I did not hurt her," DJ's icy blue eyes bored into Jay's. "and the only one who doesn't seem to get it is you." There was a growl to his voice, it was something that rarely made its appearance. "Guys like you try and threaten me all the time, so don't even try and pull something with me." Why was Trix trying to defend this guy?
Her brother, it explained a lot. There was family resembalce there. The blue eyes, the brown hair and it even seemed like the attitude. DJ's jaw firmed, "Idiodic? I think she needs to be protected more from psychos like you." He pointed at Jay.
DJ had just met Trixie and her crazed brother, who was Jay talking about? Who had hurt them and their mother before? "Yeah Trixie, move out of the way this guy needs to be taught a lesson or two." DJ threw his backpack to the ground. "So tough guy," DJ spread his arms wide. "You wanna a piece of me? Then go on, take a shot. I dare you." He leaned down to get as close as he could to Jay's face. "You don't have the guts boy."
