Julia frowned at her cell phone, scanning over the message she hadn't gotten until just that morning. "Idiot!" She breathed, finding herself more than slightly annoyed with Danny. She'd enjoyed loitering about with him, pretending that Orcs were a very present threat and speaking in Sindarin -- as best she could, considering the extant vocabulary was rather limited. She would have forgiven him for yesterday's absurd attack on her friends, if he'd only stayed around to listen, but he'd just run away, and that disappointed her more than anything. She had been quite distracted during rehearsal because of it, and had fled to her room as soon as she'd got home, deflecting any inquiries from her brother. Even on the way to school she'd been silent, and now she was in front of Jade Edward's locker, ignoring anyone who wasn't related to Danny, which was of course, well, everyone.
She tapped out a furious response, letting her anger run away with her.
Elladan -- I never guessed that Elrond's son would be such a coward. I had hoped that you at least would have the courage to say goodbye in person rather than relying on these missives. Please rethink your position and return to these orc-infested hallways.
She pressed send, still glaring down at her phone; she felt her purse graze someone, and looked up, but her apology died on her lips as she recognized Haley Rowan -- her arch-nemesis. After what seemed an eternity she managed a strangled and not entirely sincere, "Sorry. Didn't see you there."

Haley had not spoken to Julia or even thought about her much. She knew the girl did not like her, although Haley had no idea why. All she knew was the whole rumor that Julia liked Wynn, which Haley had no clue about, and Julia got upset at Cam's party. To be honest Haley was acting selfishly. She was too wrapped up in her own world to really think about the other girl. besides why should Haley care if she hurt Julia. But she did care. cause that's Haley. She was not heartless. However, to be honest Haley did not really remember who Julia was. Which was sad, because Haley was not that kind of girl, yet in the end she was...she was the cheerleader who could care less about the Julia Warner's of the world.
Haley was heading to her locker texting her friends on her phone. She had yet to master the skill of texting and walking at the same time. So when she felt something graze against her it made her look up. Or rather down in this case. The girl seemed familiar. it wasn't until she spoke it dawned on Haley who she was. She was from the play, and even more importantly she was Julia. Haley just smiled. "It's quite alright. I was not exactly paying attention either." She said with a tiny laugh.
Haley had no idea just how much of an enemy this girl thought she was. She was not really aware she was on anyone's enemy list. "Your Julia right. You are in the play too. Nice to meet you. You got to take on a new role right...congrats." Haley told the girl, forgetting about Julia and the Wynn fiasco for the moment.

Julia was completely disarmed by Haley's unexpectedly friendly greeting. She nodded dumbly, trying vainly to rationalize the other girl's behavior as conceited and self-centered, but for the moment her skills failed her. Haley had to be playing some game, she just had to be, but for the life of her Julia couldn't figure out what it was.
"Thanks." She said at last, with great effort. She felt that politeness required more of a response than one simple word, but her ability to formulate sentences seemed sadly stunted in the face of the one girl Julia despised more than any other, though the blonde was making it really difficult to hate her at that moment. She seemed sincere, as unlikely as that was!
"Yeah. It's a little strange playing Jere's love interest, I have to keep telling myself it's just acting." She gave a nervous laugh; maybe Haley was jealous that the unknown nerd girl had been raised from extra status to a named part, and now she was going to try and sabotage her! But then, Haley was playing across Wynn, so maybe she was secretly laughing that she got to spend so much time in rehearsal with the guy Julia'd crushed on for so long. It didn't occur to her that she probably wasn't important enough for Haley to spend that much mental power on; Julia spent much more time thinking about Haley than Haley would ever spend thinking about her.
For the moment, at least, Haley had refrained from mentioning that Julia had two guys fighting over her, a pale echo of the fight between Wynn and Cameron. She'd accused Haley of leading both boys on, but now that she was in a similar position she was just as indecisive as the more popular girl had been. Not that she'd yet notice the parallels, or realized what a hypocrite she was being by not choosing immediately -- or dismissing both boys. She was still holding out hope that they could all get along, but of course she knew, deep in the recesses of her mind, that none of her friends approved of Wynn since he'd rejected her in favor of Haley, so it was a struggle even convincing anyone to accept him as a simple friend, let alone anything more.
"I don't know why Ms. Griffiths picked me." She admitted frankly, then added, "So you've got a duet with Wynn. How's that going?" She tried not to sound bitter, at all, but even in her own ears she failed.

Theo slipped his bag into his locker, deciding that a light breakfast maybe some fruit would be good for him. It was as he slipped his bag into the locker that his phone took a trip across the floor he curse fluently in English as it went sliding down the hall way missing a couple of girls feet by mere inches or so he thought.
"Damn it." Theo snarled.
He had a fearsome headache which was driving him to distraction at times, the damn implant irritating him more than usual, he wanted to scratch where it was or rather just to the side of it to be precise. He had already snapped at his translator who had taken it in his stride, the man knew that Theo was having a hard time adjusting to the implant. Theo slammed the locker shut and winced even more as he went to track down his phone, he was pleased to see that it hadn't gone that far beyond the girls. He stepped around them to retrieve his phone bumping into the blond on his way up and nearly losing his balance in the process.
"Damn it." he swore for the second time in as many minutes. "Sorry... I didn't... cause to... much... damage I... hope." he said swearing internally he was embarrassed, and he was stuttering badly because of it. His frustration was quickly apparent in his eyes at least.
OOC: Decided to get involved seeing as Theo is a couple of lockers down.

Danny checked his cell phone after his shower. He stared at it for nearly five minutes before getting up the nerve to check the text message from Julia. It took him an additional five minutes to recover from the myriad of emotions he went through upon reading it. The predominant ones were anger and fear, but underlying that was a trickle of hope that she really wanted him back at school.
Starting the text, Danny took a deep breath, wishing dealing with girls was as easy as the homework waiting for him online. The text went:
Julia, not sure what to say. Been disinherited for cowardice. Chained in the stables to keep them clean. Nothing to return for. Hope once gone rarely returns with the brightness of its former blaze. I wish you luck with your suitor. I am sure he will give you what you have been looking for. Danny
If only she had given even a hint of her feelings he might have even discussed returning, but he didn't want to return and have to watch Wynn fawning all over her. He hit send and closed his eyes falling back on the bed with a grunt. He was not in the mood to do work, but his mother would check up on him and he hated to lie.

Haley just nodded as the girl said thanks. Haley had no idea of Julia's situation> perhaps that was due to Haley being a tad selfish, that she did not notice or even hear about the cafeteria fiasco, and the boy serenading Julia, or the verbal challenge between the guy and Wynn. None of that had reached Haley's ears. "Wait..that's your brother...wait I think i knew that...I ran into him the other day and I think I remember him telling me about his sister." Haley commented. " Just think at least you can tease him about it. sometimes I wish i had a sibling I could tease." Haley said with a shrug. Although it was a tad weird in her mind, but like Julia said, it was just acting.
"Ms. Griffiths obviously has an eye for talent. You must have been the most qualified to take the other girls place." Haley said in a sweet tone. This is who she was. An overly friendly girl. its how most guys ended up crushing on her. She was too nice sometimes. Haley still had yet to make the connection between Wynn and Julia. even when Haley mentioned Wynn's name, it did not register. Although something was nagging at her about Julia. "Wynn...I haven't spoken to him. I think he is avoiding me, for picking Cam. which i understand, i was kind of mean about it, but he won't give me the chance to say sorry so..." Haley said with a shrug. Their last encounter had ended with her slapping him. That's when it hit her, "Oh my god, you the girl who liked Wynn. the one from Cam's party....wow...really sorry about that. I had no idea about you and Wynn at all. Hell I didn't even know Wynn liked me, or that Cam liked me at the time, either. Again so sorry."
Haley realized she should probably have not blurted that out, "That was so out of line. I am so sorry. I have a tendency to not think before I speak, which is how I tend to get into trouble." Haley told Julia. she really felt bad now. great. Now there seemed to be an awkward moment that was saved when a guy bumped into Haley, which caused Haley to bump into Julia. Haley gave Julia a friendly smile and then turned to look at the young man who caused the collision. Although it was not really his fault. "No harm done, no need to be sorry." Haley told the guy. "I don't believe you and I have met. I am Haley." She held her hand out to the guy trying to be friendly.

Julia shifted uncomfortably, suspicions heightened when Haley commented that she must have been the most qualified for the part of Liat; her audition had been nothing short of awful, as Connor frequently reminded her. No, she was sure that Ms. Griffiths had only picked her because Jeremy was her brother and he had oodles of talent, so surely his twin must, as well. "Mm. Maybe so. I guess we'll see." She replied cautiously, wondering whether that was intended as a slight or if Haley was being sincere.
"Yeah, well, you..." She began indignantly when Haley brought up her crush on Wynn, when someone shoved the other girl into her. She took a deep breath, trying to reign in her temper. The halls were simply too crowded, he probably hadn't run into them on purpose.
"I think we're all in one piece," She told him. She recognized him as being in Drama and Dance with Jeremy, but she'd never actually spoken to him before. "Ummm. Theo, right? Oh, hold on a sec..." She added hurriedly as her phone alerted her to another text. After reading Danny's message she nearly threw her phone across the room.
"Argh, are boys difficult on purpose?!" She demanded, "Infuriating, wool-headed oaf. Fine. See if I care that you left school! I don't. Idiot!" She grumbled, typing a reply:
Danny. You're an idiot. Get your ass back to school right now. I used to want to date Wynn, but that's over now. He liked someone else better and I don't want to be rebound girl. We're just friends. Julia.

Danny had just started his algebra unit when his cell began to play 'Into the West' He stared at it a moment, a bit afraid to see what Julia had to say to him this time. Opening it up he began to cautiously read. The idiot part was not encouraging, but she obviously wanted him back to school... at least his ass. He figured that had to be good.
He spent some time over his hot cocoa trying to decide what to do. She convinced him Wynn was not a problem, but that still didn't mean she liked him other than a friend either. "ok omw but need to no how u feel about me. bts." Danny had to dress for he had still been in his pjs. This time he stayed away from his more fantastic clothing and dressed in a pair of paint splattered jeans and a purple tank top with a white shirt layered over it unbuttoned. He barely looked like the same kid. He had his driver speed to get him there.
Arriving at school, he texted Julia. "Where r u? I am next to fountain." He sat down to wait for further instructions while he wrote on his jeans.

Theo smiled at her as he took a couple of deep breaths to calm himself down a little, "Yes its Theo." Theo said to her. "Julia right... the lead female in Silver's play... rumour has it... that your twin is playing the male lead." Theo said to her with a grin. "Which must be kind of weird." he added. "I'm one of the dancers who... got roped into help you... guys with your dance routines." Theo told her his enthusiasim shining through, if there was one thing he loved was to perform. As far as he knew he was probably the best male dancer at the school. He looked at the other girl, she was some one who he had seen about the school, but had never interacted with. She was hot for a girl, if he was straight his tongue and tail would be wagging.
"Hi I'm Theo Jacobsen... you are?" he asked the other girl, he knew that Julia would correct him if he had gotten her name right. His emotions and voice under control to the degree it normally was, he felt slightly more at ease talking to the girls without referring back to a padd and pen to communicate, or if he was lucky sign language. Thank god its friday he thought.

Haley had no idea Julia was about to get upset prior to the collision. Which actually was a good thing, since it seemed to calm the other girl. It saved Haley from a verbal beat down, even if Haley had no clue it was coming. She listened as Julia complained about guys and Theo talked about dancing. She liked meeting new people. And if Theo could dance it meant Haley would see a lot more of him, cause she was in the play too. "I am Haley. I am in the Silver play as well." She told him with a friendly smile. "So I guess you will be helping me learn to dance. I might be a cheerleader, but dancing and I have never gotten along. Ironic. I know." She told him. It also depended on the dance moves.
Then she turned to look at Julia, "when you get the answer to the question please tell me, cause to be honest I have no clue." And she had a boyfriend. "I just picked the best one for me. And so far he has worked out." She said with a soft smile. "Guy trouble comes along with the territory of being a girl, well a straight girl anyway. I assume thought gay guys could say the same about guys giving them trouble." Haley shrugged. "Although I bet guys say the same thing about us. personally I think its high school that makes it harder."
