Bree smiled as she listened to Mew's explanations of what she would need to game and it seemed rather confusing. All she knew was she had seen the gaming nerds carrying a lot of books around that weren't schoolbooks and had fascinating pictures on the front of them. "We can work on the... MM ones together sometime and I will need to be show the website you're talking about. I don't want to seem a total idiot in front of your friends. I am sure they aren't too impressed with cheerleaders anyway and they will be wondering why you ever even looked at me," Bree said, her eyes clouding with doubt and self-derision. There were things she was very confident about, but she knew that most people didn't realize that she was quite intelligent.
She looked over the boxed set and put it in the basket she was carrying around. Then she saw a pair of brightly colored tooled leather books. Her eyes widened and she grabbed them. "Oh I want these!"She didn't care that the two book set would be over a hundred bucks. They were like bright shiny jewels in front of King Thranduil. She didn't know about him yet, but she was greedy for the beautiful volumes. One was red and the other green and the were bright inlays on the cover that sparkled. She would read from the boxed set and hoard the leather ones.
She was much more confused about the other choices he gave her. Dune was thick, really thick and the title of the other was rather intimidating. Her eyes lit upon an endcap that was devoted to Arthurian Fantasy. She moved towards it almost entranced and found a book that immediately appealed to her. 'The Mists of Avalon' went in her basket, immediately followed by the other books in the series. "Have you read these books by Marion Zimmer Bradly?" she asked waving one for him to look at "They look interesting, do you think I will like them?"
"Oh on Saturday, why don't I pick you up around 9:30 and we can go together... unless you would like to drive?" Bree kept having a hard time thinking of Mew owning a car, She really didn't know if he did or not. She had about ten herself, except for her Audi they had all belonged to her father. "Do you have a car Mew? There are so many things I don't know about you yet."
