"Oh, I like all different kinds of music," Cam said, "but I guess I like a lot of singer/songwriter type stuff, I guess its a lot of people that mostly no one has heard of yet, although a few of them make it more mainstream. And a lot of indie bands, a little bit of rock too...stuff like that. Some of the bands that you've probably heard of that I like would be like The Killers and Muse and stuff like that... What about you? What do you like?" He was pretty sure that Haley was into more popular music. Cam didn't hate all pop music but it wasn't necessarily his favorite genre.
Cam just smiled when she said she could corrupt him in many ways. He wasn't sure exactly what she was referring to but he could only hope that she meant sex by one of them. Cam wasn't completely sure that he was ready to have sex but as a 16 year old boy...well, he'd thought about it enough that he was convinced that he was ready. "Don't worry, no pressure at all...I'm ready for whatever you got for me," he assured her. Again, he wasn't completely sure about all this, but he thought that if he wanted it bad enough that that meant he was ready.
