It had been quite an enjoyable night for Tyler. A long night too, and he’d returned to his place in the early hours of the morning, not for the reasons he was used to when he left the company of a beautiful, young woman. Not that he couldn’t have slept with Bree, he was sure, if he put the effort into it, even she could be seduced. But he didn’t want to, that would only wreck their friendship, and it was that friendship he held in high regard. So he was true to his word throughout the night, he was a complete gentleman.
So he was operating on a little less sleep than he was used to, which was why he was nursing the large coffee he had picked on the way to school. He’d even thought about blowing it off, spending the day lounging around at home. But, being the good little student he was, he turned up dutifully, even a few minutes early.
Besides, after the previous night, and the afternoon watching the lovely cheerleaders, Tyler really could use an outlet. As Maggy, frustratingly so, didn’t seem as though she would oblige with certain things he enjoyed any time soon. So it was good that there were other girls to scratch those itches. Or, on the opposite end of the scale, he was feeling very much like the rich, spoil, arrogant jerk that he could often be, so heaven help anyone annoying who got in his way.
Slamming the door shut on his locker, he leaned against it, taking a slow sip from his coffee as he took in everyone around him. Being who he was sure was fantastic. And he had been far too soft lately, too nice to too many people. It was time to start fixing that.

Haley had quite the night. Although Cam was not the best sex she had, he was getting better. Haley actually enjoyed teaching him and they had fun. It was not all about the bedroom. They had dinner, watched a movie, took a swim. Sure the night ended in her bed, but the rest of the night had been just as fun. Haley had to admit, cam's willingness to do certain things had surprised her. Haley was afraid she would get bored and have dumped cam by now. To be honest she started dating Cam to see if she could get over what ever it was that attracted her to guys like Cam and Wynn, and she had done it to sort out her feelings for the two boys.
Now to be honest Haley was really enjoying it. Cam was different then she thought. Although she had lingering thoughts of Wynn it was getting easier. Apparently Haley liked the nerd, dorks, or whatever else you wanted to call them. or perhaps she liked that cam was different. Sure she wanted him to be popular, but she did not want him to be changed. Just more accepted. Haley said bye as she was dropped off at school, since her car was in the shop. She smoothed out her black mini skirt and her pink top that said "kiss Me I don't Bite" on it.
She flung hr book bag over her shoulder. She had been lucky and missed the event with the barn yard animals. Haley had been texted about it from other cheerleaders. She walked up into the school sipping a soda she had grabbed from home. As she headed to her locker Haley spotted a familiar face. Just the guy she wanted to speak too. Haley knew how popular guys could be...cruel and she would not let Tyler be cruel to Cam, so she had to do some digging. Haley headed over with a smile. So far Tyler seemed like a good guy and she hoped that was the case. "Well fancy seeing you again."

The first thing that Tyler noticed were the long, slightly familiar legs, leading up to a skirt that was the perfect length, too many girls were reluctant to flaunt what they had, which he always found a pity. From that, realising that the great legs in question were headed his way, his eyes raised further, slender hips, perky breasts, and a top that made him wish that the opposite was true. Still, he would happily take the wearer up on that offer.
Lifting his gaze even higher, his eyes now focused on the smiling face of Haley as she joined his side. Well, this could be fun. That boyfriend of hers seemed rather devoted, he wondered if she was the same. Why else would she come up to him if it wasn’t to hook up after all?
“I could say the same.” he drawled, returning her grin lopsidedly. “And here I was expecting you to snub me.” He let his eyes wander side to side, though he had long since established that she was alone. “No Cam this morning?” he mused. “Well, I presume you can help me out all the same. I realised last night that I didn’t have his number. Might make things a bit problematic, organising a guy’s night if I can’t get in touch.” the footballer laughed, grabbing out his phone to hand to Haley. “Might as well get yours while I’m at it, pass it on to Bree.”

Sarah checked herself out in her car mirror before getting out. Her long dark hair was poker straight and her makeup looked just fine. It was another day of school...another boring day. It seemed that all of her friends had taken to boys who really weren't worth the time of day, according to Sarah at least and she was getting rather sick of it. But she was also tired of fighting them on it. There was only so much she could say and clearly they weren't willing to listen so she was just going to stand idly by and wait for them all to crash and burn. It really didn't hurt her reputation after all. Everyone knew how she felt about such matters.
Sarah wasn't really interested in dating high school boys. Little did any of her friends know, she had her eye on the prize, which was an acceptance to Columbia. Sure, she'd talked about wanting to move to New York before, but she'd never been very specific about it, playing the part she was so used to playing. She made it sound like she wanted to go for the fashion and parties but really she just wanted to get out of this stupid LA high school bubble. Frankly, Sarah was sick of being the bitch all the time, but she was too protective of her reputation to change. So she was just biding her time.
She headed down the hall, in her short flared skirt, sky high heels, and white cowled shirt with a long chain necklace falling right into the cowled part. While most girls dressed in trends, Sarah was always all class in the way she dressed. Even when she couldn't afford some of the top designers like some of the girls, Sarah was still able to pull off high fashion looks no matter what she wore.
She spotted Haley talking to a good looking guy. He exuded class and Sarah couldn't help but smirk. Finally, someone was doing something right. "Hey Haley," she said, approaching them. Looking over at Tyler, "Hi, please say you're Haley's new guy and that she ditched that loser boyfriend or hers. I'm Sarah," she said, extending her hand to him.

Haley laughed as Tyler spoke about her snubbing him, "Now why would I snub you? You were too nice yesterday to just ignore." She told him with a smile. Haley took his phone from his hand and just smiled, "My number...to give to Bree...right...okay." She told him. "No my dad dropped me off this morning on his way to the airport. Its a tradition every time he goes out of town to produce a new film." Haley said. Which is all the time, but still Haley was a daddy's girl so, for her she liked it. "Now I must sound like the biggest idiot for admitting I still have my dad drop me off, despite having my own car." Haley said as she smiled. She handed Tyler's phone back to him as she finished typing in her and Cam's number. "Here you go, feel free to call anytime. I would rather hang out then be bored at home. Both my parents are gone."
Haley meant that as an innocent invitation. She really did get bored at home and would much rather have a friend over. She told Cam the same thing. That he could come over when ever he wanted. Because every time her dad left so did her mom. The trophy wife followed and if she did not then she would disappear to have some fun with people that were not her husband. Haley could not stand her mother. She was a trophy wife, who tried to act cooler then her own daughter. Haley would not put it past her to sleep with a high schooler. Oh wait her mother did do that with fucking Brent Adams.
Just then Sarah walked over and in her style she had to comment about Haley's boyfriend. Haley just smirked and smiled, "Sarah this is Tyler. Just a friend of mine." Haley told Sarah. "Cam is not a loser. He has popular friends. Bree for one. "Although Haley was not sure how she felt about Cam being friends with a pretty cheerleader, but Bree seemed nice enough, "And Tyler met him yesterday." Haley pointed out. She always felt the need to defend Cam, but it always feel on deaf ears. After all it was her boyfriend, she could not ignore it, but she also did not dig back. Haley just defended, but it was not very convincingly.

Laughing, Tyler shook his head, more than a little amused. “Not the biggest, I’d say.” he teased lightly. He supposed it seemed a reasonable thing to do, Haley’s and her father’s version of saying goodbye. Tyler and his father had a sort of tradition as well, for the last year or so. If his father had been away for a while, on his return, the two Durnham’s would always catch up over drinks and pool in the den. Much preferable to Tyler getting dropped off.
“Your father’s a film producer? Now, talk about a small world, my father works at Mirimax, pretty high up there. Your old man work for a particular studio?” Leaning against the locker behind him, keeping his attention completely focussed on the blonde he was with, he lazily had another swig from his coffee. “Funny to think our fathers run in the same circle too, surprised that we hadn’t met earlier.” And he hadn’t yet had the pleasure of her company in his bed. Taking his phone back, he slipped it into his pocket. “I’ll be sure to take you up at that offer.” he smiled. Home alone, very interesting.
And then his morning was made even better, another girl coming to join them. He couldn’t quite pick which one seemed the more tempting offer. He certainly liked the dark haired girl, just from appearances alone, and she seemed like she had the sort of fire, attitude, that appealed to him.
But her looks did come first, and she had that in spades. His eyes quickly trailed over her, but it was overtly obvious he very much liked what he saw, a smile playing on the corners of his lips. He loved high heels on a girl. Her comment made him laugh, and he let Haley correct her.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Sarah.” he drawled, taking her hand and raising it to his lips to kiss gently. Haley did seem like she was going to present a challenge, maybe he should alter his aim a little bit. “Yes, I did meet Cam.” he agreed, his smile only widening more at this. He wouldn’t call the guy a loser. He did have potential after all, if someone was willing to put enough work into bringing out that potential. “I’m guessing he’s not your type?” he asked Sarah, slight laughter in his voice, his head cocked just a little.

Sarah dismissed the comment about Cam having popular friends. Who was Bree anyway? Sarah didn't really care. Assuming she was a Gould girl that whole comradely would be over the second Silver was back in their own school and they had another football game. But she'd save that battle for later, she was more interested in what the boy, Tyler, had to say about a guy like Cam. Sarah wasn't stupid, she could tell by the look on Tyler's face as she approached that he'd been interested in Haley. It was the same look he gave to her as he introduced himself and kissed her hand.
"It's nice to meet you too," Sarah said with a small smile. She could tell this guy was nothing like the nerd Haley liked to call her boyfriend so she had no mean words for him. Yet at the same time when it came to things like dating and even hooking up with people, Sarah was very particular. Sure this guy had the right breeding, social standings, and looks, but Sarah needed to know more about his reputation than just that. She wasn't into being someone's one night stand. She had her eye on the prize and wasn't willing to ruin her own reputation on some guy. Not to mention, although no one really knew it, Sarah was very much still a virgin. Since everyone knew she did some modeling on the side, she could hide behind the guys she worked with, or guys she met on vacation, saying that high school boys were a waste of time.
But she did like how this guy didn't agree nor disagree to Cam being a loser. He was being diplomatic which Sarah could appreciate since the majority of her mean digs at people were covert and coated in fake niceness. "You could say that," she said about Cam not being her type. "I mean, he at least has a cool car now, but didn't he just learn to drive...I know he's a senior, but wasn't that was his 16th birthday we went to last month?" Sarah said, giving Haley a hard time about Cam's age. She remembered the drama of Cam's birthday very well. It was the first night he was even on any of their radars. No one had even really known who he was before that.

Tyler had a point. They had yet to meet. Then e again Haley was never really taken to where her father worked. She had been a few times and met some famous people, but her dad always liked trying to keep her from that world. "He is a producer for hire. If he likes the film, and the studio is willing to pay, he is willing to produce. I do believe he has done a film for Mirimax. When you come to my house I will have to show you all the posters he has." Haley knew a dangerous game when she heard one and the moment she said the word when she had started a dangerous game and needed to back up.
So she just decided to keep going as if what she said was normal. "My father has a poster for every movie he has ever worked on. Did you father take you to work a lot? Mine didn't. He was always traveling for most movies and if he was in town, then I would go once in a while, he liked to keep business and family separate. If you met my mother you would understand."
Tyler was smooth. The way he shifted to Sarah and kissed her hand. At least the guy was smart to shift focus. Although Haley did not mind flirting with Tyler, he was very hot after all and he had this way about him. However, Haley was committed. When the conversation moved to Cam's car and birthday Haley knew where all this was heading, so she knew not to continue it. She needed to change the subject. Sarah could be nice, but she could also be mean. Usually Sarah was more nice and she actually had been. There were many choice words Sarah could be calling Cam, and Haley was glad she was not doing it. However, Haley was not going to further comment on Cam, his car, his age or his social status. So Haley just smiled after she flipped her hair over her shoulder.
"Speaking of parties, I was thinking of having one of my own. My house is empty, huge, with a pool and a hot tub. Just imagine what can go on." She smiled at both of them, hoping this would help move the subject along. "Maybe even add some sort of theme, like a toga party or a god and goddess party, a masquerade." Haley said with a shrug, "Just something to make it different from a regular drinking and high school party."

Haley did seem keen to get him to her house, though annoyingly, it was clear to Tyler that the invitation was a completely innocent one. Not that it meant he wouldn’t be able to hook up with her though, if they did get some time alone. It would only make him more determined after all, and he always got what he wanted. “Yes, I’d be interested to see them, my father has something similar, posters and various displays from some of the studio’s movies around the house. I have gone to work with him a few times before. He’s insisted. He hints that he would like me to follow in his footsteps.” Tyler laughed, still not completely keen on the idea yet.
Tyler could understand somewhat why someone like Sarah might not take to someone so completely different, and obviously much lower in social standing, such as Cam, but it was clearly very obvious that it wasn’t an issue of those two not having anything in common, she just really didn’t like him. From their short conversation the day before, he hadn’t seen anything that he could particularly dislike about the guy. Quite the opposite, so he was far from who Tyler normally socialised with, at least he had some potential, and could be moulded / pushed around to something more preferable. He supposed his view would be different from a female’s though.
He had thought that the other guy looked a little young, but Tyler wouldn’t have guessed that was exactly the case. Meant that Cam had to be smart. He wondered if that was Haley’s type. Or if she was a cougar in the making. Well, if she wanted smart, he could surprise her yet. This Sarah though, she was currently seeming like the much better option.
He considered himself an observant person, so he noticed straight away that Haley didn’t make a single comment about what Sarah had to saw, instead changing the topic completely. Not that he minded in the slightest, the new topic was very, very appealing. “A hot tub, interesting.” Tyler grinned, looking over at Sarah as he said this, a clear invitation of his own. He then politely looked back at Haley. “A toga party? Can’t say I’ve had the privilege of attending one of those yet. Though any party is one I'm up for.” the footballer chuckled. “Count me in then. If you like, I can supply all the alcohol, will be no hassle.”

Sarah was glad when the conversation turned away from Cam. As much as she loved to tease Haley about him, she was much happier not thinking about him or talking about him at all. As far as Sarah was concerned, Cam was nothing more than a loser thorn in her side. She didn't see any hidden potential in him. Yeah, he might be rich, but money wasn't everything. Sarah knew that better than everyone. Haley, Tyler and even Cam all had more money than she did, yet she had a way more status than Cam would ever had.
"Party, sounds like fun," Sarah said. "It has been awhile since anyone's had a party around here, after all," she said, tossing her long dark hair behind her shoulder. "But a toga party...do you think we can come up with a theme that doesn't require wearing nothing but a bed sheet? It's not exactly flattering to a girl's figure after all," she quipped. "Gods and Goddesses would be better, stays with the whole Greek-Roman theme and that way the girls can where cute drapey dresses and the guys can still wrap sheets around their waists if they want," she said with a smile, pleased with her idea that would make everyone look much cuter. Sure Haley had suggested the God/Goddess theme but she was the one settling on it over the plain old toga thing.
"So, what do you think?" she asked. "Maybe then we can save the hot tub for the after party," she suggested figuring that not everyone could fit into the hot tub anyway. Plus it could be fun to stay up late, still drinking even after everyone went home for the night. Sarah knew that Haley had enough bedrooms to spare in her house if a few of them were unable to drive home afterward.
