[Character Name: Trixie Michaels] [Location Pierside]
Trixie was having one of those day. The one where she needed a drink. Fake ID's were good for one thing...buying alcohol. Thats exactly why Trixie made sure she had hers before leaving for Peirside. All day she had been ignoring Jay and avoiding DJ. She was afraid of what he would say. Besides he did ask for a moment alone, which of course made Trixie assume the worst. In her mind DJ was rehearsing how he would dump her ass. And to be honest she could not even blame him for doing so.
It was unfair to DJ< to have Jay treat him like he was. What guy wanted to put up with a brother who was constantly causing trouble and fighting him. This was what the third or fourth fight DJ and Jay had had, since V-Day. How much more could DJ take, and that pissed Trixie off. She finally found an annoying, irritating, nice, sweet, handsome guy. One she actually liked back, and Jay was ruining it for her. She wished so much that Jay would stay out of her life. Today had been the last straw. Trixie was sick of letting Jay run his mouth. So she vowed next time he did, her fist was going to have a meeting with his big mouth.
Trixie decided to have a few drinks at Peirside. enough so she would need a cab. Trixie had two tequila shots, one sex on the beach, one martini's and one lemon drop shots. Now she was working on a screwdriver all in the course of three hours. Trixie was a heavy weight, so she was very tipsy at the moment, but not drunk. She would defiantly need a cab later. Trixie finally finished her drink and then tried to stand up, which did not work because soon she was back in the sit she had just been sitting in. Trixie started laughing and said to the person next to her, "I don't think standing is a good idea right now." At this moment she did not care she had school tomorrow. She was feeling nice and buzzed.

Quenten was having a terrific day! Rye had left his cell phone at home so Q called the school pretending to be Rye and said that Q was out for the day with the flu. The two could sound alike especially when Q wanted something badly!
He went to the fridge and popped a beer and took a couple good swallows before deciding on seeing what women would want to make for a hook up that day. The usual chatters were on, which mainly consisted of men from India or women from Ghana on line looking for a husband. That was the last thing wanted OR needed! All he wanted was a "prime piece of real estate." Soon the computer chat was dull and nothing. He was restless.
He looked over his dresser and there was in fake ID! Yes! Score! He'd get himself some porn and then get drunk. It was a plan!
After making a stop at a local adult book store he headed to Pierside and went in. He sat at the bar next to some dark haired girl who seemed to be taking her drinks down like they were going out of style.
Once she tried to stand and speak, Quenten knew who it was. Jay's baby sister, Trixie! Jay had warned Q to stay clear of her or else there would be hell to pay!
Fuck him!
"Yeah probably not, why don't you stay close to me here." He offered, sliding an arm around her.

Trixie might know not Q very well, but she knew what her brother said about him, she knew lots of things. Although right now he did seem harmless, but Jay had warned her more then once never to be alone with this guy. However, in Trixie's current state of mind that warning was not so much a warning, as a note in her mind. Right now she was focused on the drink in front of her, which she just finished and motioned the bartender for another one.
Trixie smiled at Q, "Well aren't you so sweet." She said sarcastically. "To bad I am not in the mood for sweet. So if I am a bitch I apologize now because my mood is not a good one." Trixie informed him. She was pissed off, angry, scared and upset and all that made Trixie very bitch like. So if Q could handle it then fine. Trixie felt the arm slide around her. She shifted a little, but let the arm settle for now. She was keeping her hands to herself.
The bartender brought her another drink and she started to sip it. "So Q tell me...why are you here exactly? I heard you were arrested. Or at least thats what the rumor says." How could she not, her brother was his best friend, Jay had ways of finding out information. Besides a rumor was a rumor. There was also a rumor going around school about some chick being a vampire.

"Its a good thing I don't go for sweetness then." Q replied knowing it was a big lie. He took what he wanted and when he wanted. "I like breaking the bitchiness away till theres nothing there." He grinned an evil grin.
"Yeah I was but the day of the shootings I saved a couple of people from getting shot and helped catch one of the shooters." He was very smug with his words. "With that and a sympathetic judge, I got off with a slap on the wrist." He sat up slightly. "And so I am free man and on the prowl." He eyed Trixie, a couple more drinks and she'd be like putty in his hands.
He signaled for a couple more drinks, she had already done the damage. Q was just going to make sure everything worked out for him in the end. "So why are you here and all alone? After all someone as beautiful as yourself could just be putting herself in danger around a big bad wolf like myself." The arm the was around her started moving up her shoulder. Just a bit more and she would be his, if she asked for it or not.

Trixie smirked. Jay had told her about Q's rep. he was smooth as silk, but dangerous none the less, so Trixie should be careful. She knew it too and normally she would not mind pissing Jay off by sleeping with Q, but not today. She could not do that to DJ. Even if DJ said he never wanted to see her again, a small part of her had this hope, that he would still want her. "Thanks, but some other guy beat you to it." She told him referring to how DJ broke her bitchiness down. "And it takes a lot to beat the bitch out of me." Trixie finished her drink. That was her last one she vowed.
"You saved people...really. How sweet, and here Jay likes to call you a snake in the grass." Trixie purred. She was aware she was flirting and that was wrong, but Trixie was a natural flirt. If Trixie knew Q's intentions then she would bolt and not be near him. "Well I feel bad for the girl you are on the prowl for...she better watch out." Trixie said complimenting him.
Trixie eyed the drinks, "How nice of you, but I am done for the night. If i drink anymore I will do something stupid." she said laughing. Trixie felt his arm slide up her body and heard him asking why she was alone and calling her beautiful. Trixie shifted a little so his hand feel down a few inches. "My boyfriend had a fight with my brother and then told me to leave him alone. So here I am.....just trying to get up the courage to call him you know. He is the first boyfriend I actually care about." She was mentioning the boyfriend on purpose. Although Trixie felt safe and not like she was in danger, she did not want to give Q the wrong idea. Although part of her wished DJ would call.

The news that someone else had gotten to her made Q turn cold internally. No one was to touch Trixie except for him and him alone. He wondered if Jay knew who the unlucky guy was.
He shrugged slightly. "I figured they owe me now. After all everything has its price." It wasn't taking a rocket scientist to see Trixie was flirting with Q and he knew this far too well. "I'm sure she had better be careful, after all nice is different than good." Q eyed Trixie, undressing her in his mind. He was enjoying far too much!
"One more can't hurt, trust me." That was famous last words. "I'll take you home, if its too much for you. I promise I won't do anything you don't want me to." His blood started to boil, she had a boyfriend. He needed to think of something to hide his rage. "A boyfriend? Really? What kind of boyfriend deserts his girlfriend, especially after a fight?" Although he knew Jay so the fight had to be a dirty one. "You should just take a day and forget about him and just live it up. Maybe with someone very close by."

Trixe had no idea what Q was thinking, and she would be running had she known, but for now she felt safe since she was in public. She nodded as he spoke. "But sometimes the price can be a high price. Be nice when you name your price." She said with a smile. Trixie knew flirting was bad, but she was a natural flirt and it just came out. She always smiled, and batted her eyes around guys. Well except guys who pissed her off to start with like DJ had, however, that was what had gotten to her. He made her blood boil and thats what got Trixie going. It was a turn on when someone...well really only DJ stood up to her.
Trixie eyed the drink. She was not compeltly drunk yet, so she could order one and still remember a taxi..hopefully. So she took the shot. "Thanks." She said with a sigh. She fingered her phone in her pocket as Q spoke. He made sense. A ton of sense. "Well I do not blame him for asking to be left alone. My brother is a tad annoying and did beat DJ up for no reason. What boyfriend wants to deal with his girlfriends brother. DJ had been nothing but a great boyfriend and Jay is trashing it." Trixie admitted.
"I could use a day off...you are right about that. Blow off some steam, but maybe I need the day with my boyfriend. Just us, no brother, no one getting in the way. Something to let him see I am worth all this trouble. " That was Trixie's biggest fear. That a guy would find her unworthy. Of course she never meant to say that to Q, but she was more honest when drunk. "What about you..what are your plan?" Too bad Trixie could not read minds. "Thanks for the offer of the ride, but I am not sure when I will be ready to leave. Actually I need to head to the ladies room. Be right back." Trixie grabbed her purse and did just as she told Q. She went to the bathroon, but while she was in there she sent a text to DJ.
The text said, "So sorry about 2day, at Pierside....pretty drunk...please come. Miss you." She just really wanted to see him. Sure it had been a few hours but she needed to know he was still around.
Trixie washed her hands adn quickly made her way back to the bar. "So where were we."

"Very true, I got that damned ankle brace taken off that was the biggest thing." Quenten looked at her. She was going into dangerous territory and Q knew it. If his cards played right, she'd be in his arms.
"Now thats just like a guy, any normal guy would just ignore your brother, I know I have many times." He wasn't counting this moment clearly. Though he did freeze, did she say DJ? That monster of a kid on the football team?! Quenten knew he couldn't take him down, but he couldn't show he was scared out of his wits.
"Boyfriend? After what happened? No, you need a day just to you. After all he said he wanted to be left alone, not you." He hoped this would convince her. "I don't have any plans right now exactly, just depends on things fall." He excused her when she went to the ladies room, he had to move quickly. --------------------------------------
DJ was sitting at home, staring blankly at the tv at some stupid sitcom. The events of the day had just grated on him. He heard his phone go off and saw Trixie's message. He sighed, he didn't know if he should go or not, this could be a trick of Jay's, or at least he wouldn't put it past him. He made up his mind, "Mom, I'm going out for a bit." He grabbed his motorcycle gear and headed out to Peirside. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I was about to take you home little girl, you've had way too much to drink." Quenten told Trixie as if he were a parent. It helped he bribed the bartender to look the other way when she came back. "Now come along." He teased her when the door flew open.
"Trixie!" DJ shouted to get her attention.

Trixie nodded as Q spoke. "I know what he said, but...he got to me and i know if I don't try I am going to do something I regret out of pain, and thats never good. I actually do not want to screw this up." She told Q. "Its a shame you have nothing to do..." She told him. It was. There should always be something to do. Trixie planned on going home and drunk dialing DJ's number. Trixie got out of the bar stool she was sitting in and became wobbly. "I think i did have too much to drink. I do not feel good." She said her head fuzzy from the drinks she had. "I think I need that ride." She told Q.
Trixie leaned against Q. She had no idea he paid the bartender off. "Maybe I should get a cab." She turned to look at the bar tender, "Excuse me..a cab..please...I would hate to make you go out of your way Q. God I really don't feel good. I guess its been a long time since I was drunk." She laughed.
Just then Trixie heard a voice. it echoed in her ears and she stood up. She turned around slowly and caught his eye. "He came." She whispered. Trixie smiled. She actually smiled. "DJ!" She called and waved. "My boyfriend is here." She said softly. "I guess you were wrong, Q." She said, "Don't worry thats a good thing." Suddenly she found her footing and walked toward DJ. Although more like DJ walked toward her since she only took a few steps. "You got my text message." She said forgetting Q could hear her. She leaned up and kissed DJ not even thinking he might not want that. Then she hugged him. "Thank god you came...I am so sorry."

"Sometimes you gotta go through pain to make things right." Probably the deepest thing he ever said. He remained quiet his thoughts about what he could be doing at that moment. He grabbed her as she wobbled. "Yeah you are in no condition to drive."
Q shook his head at the bartender who remembered the tip he had been given. "Its not out of my way, I'm just doing my duty."
Q stood as the giant man in leather entered as Trixie stumbled over to him. ---------------------------------------
DJ held Trixie and kissed her passionately. "Shhh baby, shhh you have nothing to be sorry for." He had pushed her away earlier but that was then, this was now.
Q stormed over to the two. "If you know whats good for you, you'll let her go!" He clenched his fists.
DJ rolled his eyes. "I already got beat once, and I really don't want to take my anger out on someone else." He replied moving Trixie behind him.
"If you two do anything, take it outside!" The bartender yelled at the two.
"Don't worry, there won't be any trouble." DJ eyed Quenten, one could see the spark there.
"Yeah I'm on my way out too." Quenten shoved DJ with his shoulder, then turned to Trixie and grabbed her arm. "This isn't over between us, he won't be around to watch you all the time..."
"Yeah if I'm not there then her brother will be." DJ "reminded" Quenten. Quenten stormed out.
A tense moment now relaxed. "Trix, give me your phone. You probably don't care but I think Jay should know what happened and that I'm taking you back to my place."
